We’ve heard from you that this has been helpful in comparing fares so you can be informed and buy smart. This month we’re looking at American Airlines. You can catch up on what United’s fare classes look like too.

American Airline’s Fare Classes

American Airlines features eight different fare classes which travelers can choose from depending on the aircraft and route selected. Fare classes for American include: Basic Economy, Main Cabin, Main Cabin Extra, Premium Economy, Business, First, and for an elevated experience with special amenities for long-distance travel, Flagship Business and Flagship First. Here’s a roundup of all of American’s fare classes and what’s included and not included in your airline ticket.
