Academics - University of Detroit Jesuit High School

University of Detroit Jesuit High School and Academy is committed to providing the highest quality Jesuit, Catholic college preparatory education for young men throughout metropolitan Detroit and has been since 1877.

U of D Jesuit's inspiring faculty, in collaboration with parents, will challenge its students to go beyond academic excellence - to be reflective, committed to the service of faith and promotion of justice, and to be "Men for Others." As part of its mission, U of D Jesuit provides an atmosphere of learning and spiritual development that reaches into the larger community with the Academic Affairs Office (AAO) committed to assist students in achieving their academic goals.

To ensure our students keep from suffering the "summer slide" often encountered with extended time off, we assign summer work to keep them sharp for the start of the next school year. Click on box below for complete listing of our 2024 summer assignments.
