Really beautiful campus. I loved walking around and seeing all the different buildings and dorms. It was actually gorgeous. There is a gift shop as well. i love so much it.

As stated on their respective website: 4 years of English 4 years of Mathematics 4 years of one foreign language 2 Years of Laboratory science 2 Years of History Princeton also offers a variety of financial aid programs to help students make college affordable. Not only that, but undergraduates also have the opportunity to conduct independent research, often under the mentorship of Princeton's world-renowned faculty. All in all, Princeton University is a world-class institution that offers students the opportunity to receive a rigorous education and learn from some of the best minds in the world. It is a community where students can grow and thrive, and make lifelong friends from all over the world in an environment where young minds are constantly being challenged and older minds are seeking to serve and teach their years' worth of knowledge. If you are a high school student who is interested in attending Princeton, you should start planning early. Princeton has a very competitive admissions process, and it is important to have strong grades, and extracurricular activities in progress while you still have time. In addition to that, I definitely recommend visiting the campus and talking to current students to learn more about the university, student life, and its unique culture it portrays.

This is a very old school with charm and beautiful architecture. I just walked through the campus, but it was quite lovely. I cannot attest to the education, but from what the school has posted everywhere, it seemed like a very “where are your papers?” university, which is quite something. I will not doc any stars because of it, but I was not allowed in the university chapel because of it (only students, faculty, or staff allowed)- I know it’s a private school, but I though these places were supposed to be open to all, like their predecessors in England like Cambridge or Oxford.

The campus is beautiful. It's an arboretum as well. There's a famous rose garden and a nice free museum. You'll also find some of the most pretentious and entitled little monsters south of NYC here. A bastion of "wokeness" and antithetical to academic freedom, it would be wise to avoid Princeton altogether.

It's beautiful!! It's amazing to walk around the campus. It has a very Hogwarts magical vibe. The buildings, the built and everything about this place has a history (the good and the bad). It almost feels like having a connection with that history while you walk through this place.

This is a very lovely campus. Each building is stunning. The campus is very lovely and interesting. Also walkable and easy to navigate.

Gorgeous campus for a peaceful stroll. A few gentle hills and plenty of beauty all around. If you are visiting and want to explore, you cannot go wrong with an aimless meander. Many excellent food and shopping choices in town. Definitely one of the most beautiful American college campuses.

Great place for young kids. Lots of rides and half the park has water-related activities. Would advise going early or later in the day (opening time or after 3). Otherwise kids will enjoy. Cute parade of all the Sesame Street characters. Check pricing and perhaps bring your own snacks and water.

Worth the time spent for quality family memories! Amazing staff and family care center for moms. Enjoyed all the toddler rides and water park areas! Great time watching the afternoon parade. Character meet and greet photos were fun too! Did not feel rushed or anything. It was a delight for the kids!

Today started off very well even though it was light rain and kind of chilly. Upon arrival we asked the staff if the park would remain open and they said yes. The park opened at 10 and around 1:3 they advised the park was closing, there was no lightning no thundering and no additional explanation. Staff advised all guest to either request for a sunny day pass via the app or website or venture to customer service in the front of the park. I went to customer service since I had already purchased parking and a reserve space for the 3pm parade. Manager Zach refunded my parking and the reserved space for the parade but without the tax so it didn't match the price it was purchased for and he could not provide an explanation why. He just said that's how it is & when I asked to speak to another manager, Zach Advised he was the only person I can speak to. I just said OK and I knew at that point I was just gonna need to contact Corporate to provide them some clear feedback on the experience. I am from Georgia and visiting family in Virginia. I decided to take my Little to Sesame Street for the day which is a 4 1/2, so you can imagine how disappointed I am to have only been park for less than two hours and not only not receive a refund appropriately but given a sunny day pass option. I did advise to Zach that sunny day pass is not equivalent for this type of situation, since the weather did not impact the park, closing, the park chose to close on their own, without any additional explanation. But from the looks of it, it was due to lack of staff. There was no thunder or no lightning and the rain actually stopped at 12:30. anyone thinking about going to Sesame Street try the Florida location. Longhorn Location is not worth the money nor the lack of customer service, under construction rides, ill prepared staff, and so on and so on. I truly expected better.

We love Sesame Place! There are rides and roller coasters for everyone. My kids feel safe tuning around the place and enjoy all the rides because they are kid friendly! A few things I would change is the food as it truly sucks and it is overpriced; for the admission price the park charges the food should be better. Also the candy they gave for Halloween war poor in comparison to your regular trick or treat!

We had a great time here with a 3 yr old. Staff was enthusiastic, we didn’t encounter a single grumpy employee. The performers at the parade were wonderful, they put on a great show while keeping kids safe and entertained. If you come on a weekday, the lines are short (if there at all) and the park is less crowded. The park was also notably clean and well-kept, none of the rides appeared to be run-down. Here’s a tip: BRING YOUR OWN FOOD. You cannot take it into the park. However, you can leave the park and come back (they stamp your wrist) and they have an area of picnic tables and umbrellas just outside by the preferred parking. Bring your own food and keep it in your car, the park is so compact that’s it’s very easy to head back to your car, even with little ones! Food prices were HIGH inside of the park, $12 for a hot dog, $7 for a pretzel…just a few examples. Also check out their season passes, especially if you’re coming with a group. The gold pass gives you what is essentially 5 tickets (the pass holder plus 4 guests a season) for exactly half the cost.

Great place for toddlers. You can easily do the entire park in 3- 4hrs. Its not as big as disneypark. Great activity for toddlers. Best time to go is in summers with longer park hours to make most of it.

Adorable place! Took my niece and nephew and they loved it. There’s a program for every season which I think it awesome. Y’all, it’s PRICEY (food, souvenirs,etc) but the kids LOVED IT.

An amazing experience! Who doesn't love Sesame Street! It was orderly and super clean. Even though it's "off season" right now, there's still so much to see and do. Buying tickets on- line is a breeze. The park is Cashless so bring a card. You can also convert your cash to a temporary debit card while you're there, they have kiosks available. They have everything to accommodate everyone. It's great. They even have Sensory areas. As far as I could see there are only Gender Specific bathrooms, though. Plenty of parking, too. The day can be rather expensive so plan a budget. Lol (One clothing patch cost me $23.00 but it was worth it) Have a funtastic time!

Very nice experience. Sesame place was very clean. Very busy and very popular. It was 95 degrees and the water park was amazing. The sprinklers and shallow pool areas are nice for kids and adults to relax. There are changing areas and plenty of bathrooms. They have special sensory rooms for anyone who needs them. The bathrooms are freezing cold especially nice when it is very hot outside. The bathrooms are clean. The staff are friendly. The parade was nice and fun and entertaining. During the week it's about 13 minutes long. On the weekend it's longer at 30 minutes with more entertainment according to a friend who stayed over the weekend in their sesame place hotel. It's nice and strict here. Security is strict here and keeps the park safer. The preferred parking attendant was very nice and friendly and helped me by directing me to a good spot. Upon entering you see New Jersey police standing by keeping law and order. Overall the park is nice and clean. Come early to beat the crowds. Good place for the kids to play and socialize. The park is handicap accessible in all forms. Special needs children friendly environment. I would recommend this place.

My kids love this place. Prices are reasonable compared to others in the same category. Bring sunscreen. Lots of walking. Water attractions close at 6 pm. Then last parade at 7pm and closes at 8. Early enough to get the kids whined down before bed. There are many shows and opportunities for the kids to meet (visually) their favorite characters. Plenty of water fun. Some rides for older kids. My 13 year old has been coming since age 6 and she still enjoys it. Download the app for maps and hours/schedule of activities. Highly recommend.

Wow, what a fun time for the family! The themeing is well done and the kids rides are great fun. Hot day? Enjoy one of the several pools, water slides or the lazy river. Bring a towel!

What an amazing experience. We went to all Disney and Universal Parks in Florida, but this cute park is very nice and relaxed. Very good for younger kids, no long lines, different types of activities.

Sesame Place is awesome for younger kids (and their adults!) It is low key and relaxed. There are lines but they are relatively short especially compared to other amusement parks. It wasn't especially busy but it was a weekday. There are water rides intermixed with dry rides and it doesn't seem to matter what order you do them in. Everyone there is in swimming suits the entire time. There are water zones where kids can play. There are water slides, and 2 roller coasters. The wooden coaster is the only ride I saw that you have to be a certain height to ride. All of the other rides smaller kids can ride with an adult. There are a ton of photo ops and the characters walk around the sesame street buildings. They have a photo card that photographers will scan & take your pictures. You can buy them at a kiosk but most will let you take a picture with your phone or they will even take it for you. The food... is expensive! And very limited. I would recommend bringing a water bottle (they do have water fountains where you can fill them up at.

This is a great place for the kids to have a fun time. We visited and 7 hours went so fast it was unbelievable. So much fun!! My one problem was the staff at the food center big birds burgers. Look for 4 kids and 2 adults it was $114 for chicken nugs fries and a drink for each of us. You can not bring any food inside. The girls serving the food at the pickup counter at least 3 I interacted with were so RUDE it was unbelievable! For paying all that money you deserve a smile and a response not just a mean stare. Even rude to my kid when he asked for BBQ SAUCE. they are young prob don’t make much but just be kind and if u are miserable find another job. Other then that a coke bottle is $6! They take absolutely no CASH anymore. I would not visit again but it is a nice day trip outing for the family. The characters are very nice and patient with the kids. Water and park are extremely clean!

First of all, I love this place! I have been loving this place ever since I was about 4.Parades are Fantastic!They get you to move and groove every now and then.The Character's Include(That I saw on most recent visit for meet in greets) Elmo, Count(excited about), Rudolph (Holiday exclusive),Big Bird,and Bert and Ernie.I am very happy with this choice of characters for the day.We(my family)has time to see them all!Shows are Marvelous!But,I recommend the characters should interact with the kids more and not interact on only the front row.Rides are amazing 😍!Love them!!I recommend this place for 2 and up!Rides for all ages and groups.I come here multiple times a year even though it is a long ride from my home.TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!If they let me I would give this place a million out of 5 stars :).(I have showed pictures of the characters along with this review)

This is the best place to go in summer, with amusement facilities and water parks. There will be a parade at 3：00pm，So you have to take a seat in advance. There are also restaurants, hamburgers and hot dogs in the park.

Sesame Place Philadelphia is awsome & I absolutely love coming here throughout the season!! They have something for everyone from rides, shows, meet & greets & the parades which are awesome!!! Dine with Elmo & friends is such an amazing dinning experience!! While it's expensive: I believe it's absolutely worth it especially when it's an all-you can eat buffet plus the characters come see you at your table for close interactions as well put on a great show to entertain the guests & I would definitely recommend it when visiting!!! The meet & greets is wonderful! You're never too big or small for furry hugs & the Sesame Street friends are all spectacular!!! Lastly the Sesame Street parades: they're spectacular especially when the music is upbeat, fun & all your favorite Sesame Street friends come down the street spreading joy, fun & laughter to everyone!!

Overall good experience. Arrived right when the gates opened at 1pm on a Sunday and got right in. Only reason for 4 out of 5 ⭐️ at 1 point we did wait almost 30 minutes for a rather large souvenir cup to arrive which we paid for and the park was promoting. Should have been readily available but clearly the lady behind the snack stand was not prepared or given the proper cups to be sold. Other than that highly recommend.

Had a great time, kids enjoyed themselves. As well as a few adults. I was very impressed with the parade, the hard work that was put into the performance shows, as well as all the other shows. Excellent job.Downside the way, consumers revert cash to a card, then charge 5% in the process.

From the thrilling rides to the entertaining shows and character interactions, there's never a dull moment at Sesame Place. It's a place where our kids can let loose, explore, and create unforgettable memories. Overall, Sesame Place Philadelphia is a haven for family fun and adventure. Amazing place for a complete family fun with young kids. They have many drives which are young kid friendly. The splash pool are an amazing attraction for the kids. The place can be crowded so be prepared to wait for the drives. The food is expensive but that is expected. Plan ahead and book your tickets online in advance to avoid waiting in queues.

Parx Grill has phenomenal food and bar service. Pricey but delicious. The cream spinach was my favorite! The only con is that the TV is placed too low at the bar area and people are sitting directly in front of it. Major design flaw.

This place is immaculately clean, security and it is very spacious to. Didn’t win but had fun for 2 hrs. If in the area this is one of the better casinos I’ve been to so I’d definitely would come back again. Has much to eat, drink and play all in one place. Plenty of parking to and handicapped accessible

We enjoyed an amazing dinner with friends at the Parx Grill. My wife and I enjoyed the professional skills of our Server Scott. He meticulously handle our order from our special drink requests, starters, entrees and dessert. The Chilean Sea Bass was delicious and my wife's Salmon Oscar was over the top. We couldn't resist the Creme Brulee with Berries for dessert. Scott always treated us with the best of care and attention. His wine pouring skills are also a "show" in itself. Thank you Scott for making us feel so special. Our evening continued in the Theater with a Holiday Show by Martina McBride. Every seat in the theater is a great seat and the huge video screens, amazing acoustics and sound system made her show really come alive. Martina's performance was spectacular. After the show, our visit in the Casino made our evening even more special. We really enjoy the variety of slots, games and tables they offered. Lady luck was with us. Parx does such a great job taking care of their guests and we felt very special. Thank you Parx and Scott.

I went there for my bday and had an amazing time. My server made my day by bringing me a dessert and singing happy birthday to me. I go there almost every year and have always had an impeccable experience.

Had lots of fun at the craps tables. $15 minimum wow, wish they stayed at $10 for certain strategies. Very clean, smoke-free, and good mix drinks at the table, just pay a tip, love it! I'll be back for sure.

This is a great place to go and have fun with your friends. It's exciting to play the games. Can't say I won much but it's always a good time. Also there's some good places to eat in there The Liberty restaurant serves amazing food. If you go to Parks I recommend you try that restaurant. Parks as shows. They have concerts. Easy to get to and it's close to home.

Never go for a slot machines , they always try to loot you on that , some of the dealers are kind while some are so rude . Sometimes roulette's displays are not working and they didn't knew the answer or might be possible they are trying to scam you . P.S : Always know that never greed for anything after all it's a casino , go for fun that's okay but know one thing you will end up loosing always so carefully spend with limits !! . ALL THE BEST

A fantastic place to eat and watch concerts. Parking is incredibly easy and not so far from the entrance. I watched the Rick Springfield/Richard Marx concert with my friends and the venue was amazing!! One of the best concerts I’ve attended! We ate at Chickie and Pete’s beforehand. A truly fun and relaxing night.

I enjoyed my time at the Parks Casino. I didn’t win any money but my cousin did. A friend of mine also won a nice amount. She sent me a picture of her winning 3x with a week and a half.

I play poker often, and also travel a lot as well. Parx has one of the best poker rooms on the east coast. They really need to bring back the big stax tournament series or something of the sort, and make use of that beautiful massive old poker room they used to use. Definitely plenty of cash game action for all different stakes 24/7. One thing also nice about Parx Poker is the amount of mixed games they have. This is the only poker room that has a lot of mixed cash games regularly in the area. Big casino, but easy to navigate. Not completely impressed by the food selections throughout the property and think they need to make better use of the event center.

Had fun and enjoyed myself. My first casino experience and I took it pretty easy. Walked out with more than I walked in with, so that's a plus! Signing up gives you a small credit to use. Military incentive credits too. My only complaint was 2.5 hours sitting at almost the sane table and slot whole time and no drink was ever offered by the waiters.

My new Sunday spot. Best time is in the morning not to busy. It's a lot of fun when your winning. Lol. Not to bad when your not. Haven't tried the food and I don't drink in the morning folks soooo unfortunately I can't help you with that. But I'd recommend. Oh and remember to cash out everytime your done on each machine. Learned that the hard way. Lol. But that was my own fault. I'll continue to come out. Atmosphere is pretty cool. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Update.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Been back a few times. It's been nice staff has been super attentive. Haven't really win much. But I don't play what I can't lose. But my small wins have been awesome. I'll eventually start betting on the horses.

It's a casino. Several restaurants inside, we chose Chinese. Good food, nice waiter. Didn't have my beer so we were allowed to bring one in from the outside gambling area. Went there to see Shane gillis. Seats were comfortable enough, but no cup holders. Had to buy your drinks outside at the casino bar, and bring them in. Stayed at the courtyard Marriott across the street. Highly recommend.

In the concert hall you can see so many interesting entertainments, as Michael Bolton or comedians.

Aaaaaaaaamaaaaazing place!!!! Just walking around admiring all the detail that went into it. WOW! JUST WOW!!! Tried the breakfast burger in the food court. Delicious. Bought my dog a Patty with cheese. He loved it. Will go back. ONLY ISSUE I HAD... TRUCK PARKING is non existent in that area. I was chased off after about 3 hours. Told I couldn't park there. Here is a picture of the parking lot from my windows. (OH and the amazing burger) Truckers have A LOT of MONEY that they would spend at this location. A lot of us are veterans and would appreciate the business for allowing us to park there. Just charge $20 a truck and get our information.

The grill restaurant was pretty good, the concert at the excite Hall was ok. Lots of people recording with cell phones....which is the norm now. Bummer. Sound, and video a+

It was nice to go back home and see what became of liberty bell race track and keystone. My dad was a pro handicapper I the 70’s we were from bucks county and my mother worked the clubhouse for Ray Turchie. Back in the day. It does not compare to Mohegan sun or Mount airy the food court was minimal compared to the phenomenal selections in the Pocono area including the Sands. But it was nice to visit home.

Last night with Common (Stage Manager) Haven’t done a show in PA since I was the drum tech for Jay Z on the OTR II World Tour. Hospitality and staff are top notch and so kind/easy to work with.

Great casino. Best part was I lost my wallet there day before I was suppose to travel home and someone turned it in and saved my life!!

It's nice and clean inside, The employees meaning drink girlsand guy's, cleaning staff and security. And the slot attendants are always Walking by and doing their jobs and saying hello. And I'd like to say thank you to all those you're doing a great job!

One of my favorite places to visit in the US, and go to place for sightseeing if someone visits me in NJ..! I guess Winter is the only Season I haven't been here (thats just because they are Closed 🤦🏻‍♀️) Multiple different trails for hiking depending on comfort level and plenty of beautiful spots along the trails to sit and relax. There is also a lake and a few picnic spots outside the Falls Entrance to enjoy for free. There is also a small restaurant, an Ice Cream shop, and a Gift Shop, and plenty of parking space available. Restrooms get quite messy during peak season though, and they don't maintain it that well.

It’s a beautiful place very easy trail to view the falls! We can take other trails to view few more falls over there but they all are dried up when I visited.

This is an excellent park to come visit. You can easily view quite a few beautiful and large waterfalls. The trail is very well maintained and an easy walk. There are tons of stairs throughout the hike but there are also different trails you can take depending on how much you want to see. The park currently costs $17 to get in with plenty of parking. Some of the best waterfalls you can see locally.

What a beautiful place, red trail is extremely difficult but worth it. (We completed it) The price is absolutely rediclous for a public park, family of 4 will cost nearly $50.

Excellent day trip from Philly to Poconos. A solid 2 hour drive from the city to the mountains. Visited Falls on a Memorial Day arriving at noon. The crowd size was manageable and there was an employee directing parking/traffic. Tickets were purchased onsite and the wait was about 10 minutes. Its probably best to purchase tickets online because there’s a separate line for pre-purchased tickets. At time of review, regular ticket price was $18/adult. A Gen-Xer and a Baby Boomer decided to walk the main/popular trail first. Moderate walking and stopping/waiting to take pictures at optimal locations, it took about 30-35 minutes to walk the trail. Feeling good about the walk, we decided to walk the Bridal Veils Falls. Note: there were ample signage advising this trail is “hikers” and “non-hikers” should return to the main trail. Other hikers who has just walked the Bridal Veil Falls trail mentioned there were nicer views and more water falls. We are definitely non-hikers and we decided to proceed onward. The trail was challenging and the terrain was a mix of wooden steps and unleveled rocks/sticks. On this visit, the trail was muddy in certain areas so be sure to wear proper footwear. You can access/enter Bridal Veil at different points. We noticed that entering at the beginning of the park, the trail is more up-hill walk as opposed to walking the main trail and then accessing Bridal Veil once inside the park. This access point provided more downhill walking. The only climb was toward the end and it was all stairs. While we finished the walk in an hour (stopping for pictures and rest), it took about an hour to walk Bridal Veil trail. It was a great day to get out and about. The park was clean, visitors were pleasant, and even though it was a 90 degree day, once inside the park, the shade of the trees and spray of the water from Falls, made it a very comfortable walk. Remember your camera and have fun.

Stunning place , amazing views and loved all the trails. The only thing ,I would probably limit more the access of people as some days the place is so crowded!

Great weekend activity. Best to enjoy nature and moderate level of track. They have 4 level of difficulty for trail for visitors.

This is very beautiful park with trials suiting to all age group. This was my third trip in as many year’s and this place never disappoints.

Bushkill Falls is one of the best outdoor activities in the Delaware Water Gap region. The hiking park features 8 waterfalls and miles of trails for easy hiking for kids and adults. Pets are allowed. It is totally worth the $18 entry fee (for adults). There is also other things to do outside of the park area including a maze for kids, a small historical exhibit, a store, and a snack bar. There is also a picnic area with tables and grills. I would say this is definitely something you need to do when visiting Stroudsburg or the Delaware Water Gap. The falls are all beautiful especially when there has been rain. Plan to spend about 2-3 hours here if you’re taking your time. We did the long hike and it took about 1.5 hours. We were able to see every waterfall (see pictures).

One of the coolest setups for a trail/step walk around waterfalls. Still pretty challenging as the steps take you up and down the terrain, also allowing for different viewing angles. Definitely check out the map and pick the trails accordingly. Also nicely done with bathrooms, snack shop, and souvenir shop. There are times for some extra activities for younger ones. Some people complain about walking through public lands.... but I am pretty sure it is private property. The cost is around $18 per person, but it's very clean, well maintained, and well labeled. I've been in the past in the fall, and it is really nice also. Especially late in the fall when you might find some frost. Bring a camera!

We hiked the longest route right after a rainy day. It actually rained a tiny bit during our hike too. So the waterfalls were massive. Absolutely stunning views and couldn’t recommend more! It’s a bit expensive but def worth it for a small group. Honestly thinking about doing engagement photos here! 100% MUST wear sneakers or grippy hiking shoes. Anyone visiting in sandals or flips (there were a few) are absolutely reckless. Some areas can be EXTREMELY slippery and steep. Definitely visit during the off times to avoid crowds and families with kids. Especially if you want to take photos in-front of the falls.

Buskhil Falls boasts a stunning waterfall with four diverse trails. We had the pleasure of visiting last Friday, when the fall foliage was in full display – a truly breathtaking experience. It's important to note that parents with strollers should be aware that they are not permitted on any of the four trails due to the numerous stairs around the waterfall. However, this restriction adds an adventurous element to the visit, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The trails vary in length, ranging from a quick 15-minute jaunt to over an hour, depending on your preference and the composition of your group. The only drawback we noticed was the relatively high entry fees, which stood at $17 for adults on weekdays and $20 on weekends. For families with children over four years old, an additional $10 per child is required. This pricing may seem steep, but it could be a deliberate strategy by management to control the crowd. On the positive side, there are ample dining options available, including a gift shop and canteen offering snacks. The restrooms are clean, and there is an abundance of free parking space, making it a convenient and pleasant visit. Please refer to the attached photo for pricing details. For larger families, the entry fees might pose a challenge, but the overall experience and facilities make Buskhil Falls worth the trip.

Beautiful hike…. We were a group of 5 from NYC with two dogs and we all had an amazing time. The gift shop has some nice stuff and is reasonably priced as well!

We visited Bushkill falls this weekend and it was beautiful! Hike: We chose a rainy day to visit the falls and so we picked the popular yellow trail (45 minutes loop). Well laid out wooden steps guide you to 3 different falls. You can even move slightly off the path to the red trail for some additional great views. The main falls were the most gorgeous! I would classify the yellow path as 'Easy' to climb. We paid $20 to enter the trails. Parking: They have a large parking lot. Do not forget to visit the twin lakes that are between the parking lot and entrance gate. The fall foliage there is even prettier than at the falls. Others: There is a native Indian museum by the parking lot that was beautiful. We bought some fudge that tasted amazing and we also tried a pizza at the gift shop! There is gem mining but that was closed on the day we went. Lots of people bought rain coats at the gift shop. There are clean restrooms available as well. Overall, it was a lovely 2 hours that we spent at Bushkill falls to see the fall colours, despite the heavy rain!

Great place to relax while you’re hiking. I have just went to there after 2 pm and general ticket area was closed. I got the ticket from souvenir shop. You’ll have time to visit the place until 5 pm. It’s worth to see if you have never been there. I want to hike in Bushkill falls during spring and summer time which is much nicer than right now. However, price is $17 on weekdays and $20 on weekends. It should be much cheaper to get it or they should start membership for people who want to hike and walk in this place more frequently. Do not forget to get water and follow the instructions!

Multiple levels of falls but with good viewing platforms. Some places require careful footing if it has rained recently. We'll marked paths.

This is a great place to walk around and see some waterfalls and other natural beauty in the Pocono mountains. Much of the trails are wooden boardwalks . Awesome day trip. If you love nature and waterfalls, this is a must see .

Beautiful waterfalls!! Loved the gift shops!! Friendly staff!! I recommend the red trail, it's a pain in the beginning but in the end it does get easy! If you do the red trail you do see all 8 waterfalls!! I recommend coming when they opened at 9am, we got there at 9:20.. Less people and you can take your time and take pictures. By noon is was so packed! When we got done by 11:30-Noon, ate our lunch people were actually waiting in line to go into the falls and purchasing tickets! Definitely recommend getting tickets online and wear shoes/boots have good grips, some of the wooden steps are extremely slippery!! Be extra careful!! Definitely worth the trip!!

Nice nature walk with plenty of beautiful waterfalls. The more challenging trail has a few physically demanding parts, but nothing too strenuous. Plan your adventure accordingly as the grounds can become very crowded.

This whole park is absolutely GORGEOUS and worth the admission price once you realize how much work is put into it and all that you get to see. I highly recommend the red trail. don't let the reviews scare you! The worst inclines you will face are the stairs. There are most definitely A LOT of stairs but you will have them regardless which trail you take. The actual terrain isn't so bad. You might as well take it all in! I would also recommend aiming for early on a weekday. It seems like it gets pretty crowded after noon, which would definitely take a lot away from the experience. Maybe they should try timed entry to space people out. 🤔

So much history is tucked away in this historic town. Visitors can feel the fabric of American society being woven as they navigate through the relics of time. Paid tickets into the independence hall and the liberty bell not required after 5pm.

Must do if you go to Philadelphia. We went early on a weekday morning soon after it opened and experienced really no wait other than getting our pictures with the bell. Some decent historical information to see before you get to the bell. Without a large crowd, it really doesn’t take much time to check this out at all. No tickets or admission fee required. Just walk up and go in.

If you're in Philadelphia, make sure to visit this place. Depends on the time and day you visit, it could be crowded, but the line moves quickly. Before reaching the Bell, it's a good idea to read some intriguing historical information. The surrounding area is also quite nice.

This is nice place lots of history, the Liberty Bell star of show. The wait was about 15 minutes and they made sure to move the line very quickly this was an amazing experience to see not just “Is Liberty Bell”. But the history of the Bell and what it means just as Americans, But to others from the other parts of the world. It is something for everyone to see and take how lucky you are to live in the United States.

Wow the best thing ever! You enter through security which you have to take of your (sweater,bag/purse,mobile phones and any belongings in your pockets) and once you walk in there is a sort of exhibit that you can walk through . Then the liberty bell is great!!!

It's been a very long time since I've been to the Liberty Bell, certainly prior to 2003 when they built the new building. The new exhibit was stunning - the layout was easy to follow, there was so much to read and learn, and they had a good mix of audio/visual to plain reading. Such an important part of our nation's history!

The interactive displays are also a lot of fun, and they help to make learning about history more engaging.

Very fun to see this historic artifact. Really like that you can see it very well from outside the building. We were there after hours so still being able to see the bell 🔔 so we’ll lit was a nice surprise!

Very cool place to go check out if you're in the area. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. Very educational and cool at the same time!! There is an upstairs where you can have a bite to eat and it has a great view. The bathrooms were very clean and family friendly.

The amount of history enveloped in this, Liberty Bell is unfathomable. This place is busy at all times of the day, so you can expect at least a 15 minute wait. To see the bell itself, there are no tickets required. Simply join the line and go through security before you are able to see it. The exhibit is pretty nice, and it is incredible to see the bell itself. I highly recommend going across the street to the visitor center for even more exhibits and videos.

06/20/23 - short line, not particularly busy, weather was perfect. I love the preservation of history! It was equally viewable all the way around. Plenty to read and look at while standing in line to see the bell itself! Make the time, I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. There was not much of a line at all. Total time in and out was less than an hour.

Awesome and historic part of town. The line was crazy to get in to the Liberty Bell, so we were content to see it through the window. The grounds are free of charge so that was easy to do.

The entire Historic District should be explored on foot only. The building in which the Liberty Bell is showcased is nice with a lawn and the experience starts with a history and significance of this great bell and how it was a symbol for liberty and freedom not just for Americans, but for many global situations. The entire trip at Liberty Bell would take about 40 minutes to an hour, culminating with a few moments at the Bell itself. Your trip to Philadelphia is not complete without this.

Excellent FREE piece of American History to explore. They have lots of plaques inside the visitors center describing how the bell was made, when it rang, where its traveled to, how the crack was formed, and more. Across the street from Independence Hall, close to George Washington’s old home, and right next to the Visitors Center, there’s lots to do in this little area!

I always get mixed feelings when I view stuff like this. I appreciate the fact that they are preserving history, but I don't feel that it's being done respectfully. There's way too much emphasis on the slavery part of it all. From pictures to videos. Constantly pushing the narrative of that's who we are. Consistently showcasing people of color in a negative and destitute state, rather than showing our accomplishments and triumphs, regardless of the attacks that are still presented on us today. I am disappointed in the lack of representation of my people and the whitewashing of history. Downplaying the vicious role that was and is still being orchestrated today by those who created the battle for justice.

This requires tickets. You can purchase the day you are there or even while standing in front of building. We were there in off season though so availability may differ in summer months. It’s about 45 minutes and you see 2 rooms. Standing only and 4 steps. If you love History, you will enjoy.

This is a free and very well kept historical site featuring the Liberty Bell. They host many educational videos to teach the history of the country, the area and of course the world famous Liberty Bell. The self tours are free and quick, but there is much history to see in the surrounding areas as well.

It’s cool to see but underwhelming. Thankfully it’s free, so points there!! It’s cool the view of independence hall right in the back but you really don’t spend more than like 5 minutes here. I attached the picture of the bell, that’s basically it y’all. Also they had high security here but the people working there were knowledgeable on Philadelphia history.

This was a fantastic museum with ongoing great exhibitions. I loved 'Matisse in the 1930s' and 'Macho men' exhibitions so much. Its permanent collections are huge. I couldn't even see half of it even though I've went this museums 2 days in a row ad spent 6 hours each day. I love impressionism so this place was like heaven. This museum also has great American Art collection which made me surprised. There was huge collection of glass art so if you love glass art this place is must go. Overall, this museum was one of the greatest museum in the US I've ever been to and I am planning to go back soon so I could see all of its collection. Admission ticket is awesome because you could use 2 days in a row with paying only 1 ticket and you could go to Rodin museum for free as long as you shows the ticket from Philadelphia Museum of Art. What an awesome deal for visitors!

Great place to sip a drink and enjoy the art. You can spend hours and hours here. This is an amazing place to visit In Philly if you are interested in art and history. They have an impressive collection of arts and artifacts from different countries and time in history. Remarkably well preserved paintings, rooms to show lifestyle, and cultural artifacts: engraved rugs, and sculptures. There was live music, you can get some light snacks or drink. They also have cafe and gift stores. They do have parking lot for visitors. I recommend buying tickets online, on first Friday of the month I think you can visit it at little cheaper than regular days.

Really beautiful and gorgeous building. One of the most beautiful exterior areas of any American museum. The ‘Rocky stairs’ and the jet fountain outside are stunning. Walking outside and seeing the skyline of Philadelphia is also spectacular. Inside, there is a beautiful collection on Impressionist art, however, I found the rest of the museum lacked the same quality. But a great collection nonetheless. Some good Picasso, Monet, and Van Gough.

I have been to The Philadelphia Museum of Art twice, but I have not yet been inside. On my most recent visit, it occurred to me that on my next visit, I'm going to make it a priority to go inside. I cannot comment on the interior of the museum; the exterior is lovely. If you are facing the museum, do not expect the Rocky Statue to be at the top of the steps. It is to the right of the steps on the street level in its own section. Everything about the exterior of the museum is exhilarating, from all of the people climbing the steps and shadowboxing, to the ornate statues, to the beautiful view of the city down Benjamin Franklin, to the endless photo and video opportunities. Even the walk down Benjamin Franklin is beautiful. Don't skip a visit to the Museum when visiting Philadelphia.

Very cool space. Visited with my son who has recently moved to Philly and we agreed you could go back again and again. We got there toward the end of a long day but thoroughly enjoyed what we were able to see before closing. Views at dusk we're lovely and we found the Rocky statue as we left. Great day!

Philadelphia Museum of Art is one of my favorite attractive places to go with the family. I'd take the kids to check out some rooms there and the history, I like that they have a cafe area in the ground level area. You can eat and drink whatever you like there. You can take pictures there as you wish. Also, I wish they open until 7 pm because 5 is early to be closed. I don't think I've any cons to mention. I highly recommend for family trips.

I took my husband on a date at the Museum of Art on Friday night and we had a great time. On Friday, between 5pm and 8:45pm, the admission is free (donations are welcome). The atmosphere was perfect: a live band was playing jazz music and we grabbed a drink by the steps. The museum has a huge variety of paintings and pieces of art. Artists like Picasso, Duchamp, Matisse, Renoir, Man Ray, Monet, Manet mostly find a spot on the first floor. But don’t be shy, ask the staff about specific painting and they’ll be happy to help you navigate the museum’s map.

Absolutely stunning museum. It’s got everything. I can’t say enough good things about this museum. The building itself is an architectural wonder and a must see you when you come to Philadelphia. Tip you can go to the side or the back of the building to get in and avoid the lines. Also make sure you buy the city pass. It will get you into almost every museum in town as well as the hop on hop off bus you’ll save a ton of money.

This is one of my favorite art museums I have visited. My boyfriend and I have very different tastes and preferences and we both found many works of art that were breathtaking and spoke to our interests. The galleries are well organized and museum personnel were friendly. This is a wonderful museum to explore across styles and artistic mediums.

Quite possibly the best art museum I have visited! Our group visited for a Friday "pay what you wish" evening and loved every bit of the 3 hours we spent there. We spent much of our time in the European galleries and loved the inclusion of architectural elements in the exhibits. Our one point of disappointment is that there was an event happening with loud, modern music playing and children participating in a "trick-or-treat" scavenger hunt through the museum. While we were happy to see a unique way to invite families with young children into the museum, we thought it would have been prudent to teach the children to conduct themselves quietly in a museum rather than interacting loudly.

This museum was beautiful. There was so much to look at that we didn't have enough time to explore everything. I would recommend setting aside an entire day or a couple days to visit the museum thoroughly. I give the museum itself and their collection 5 stars. It is worth the visit. The Rocky Balboa statue is also located here so that was a fun to see as well. Most of the staff was very friendly but some were not. We were asked by a staff member to check our umbrella at coat check while we were already almost through an exhibit but other people were walking around with the same type of umbrella and weren't asked to do so. Another staff member asked us to step away from a painting that was covered with glass and explained that we needed to stay 18 inches away but he didn't say anything to the next few people who walked up to the same painting and stood where we had been. I understand the requests however staff should be consistent and polite, and apply the requests to all visitors.

Huge museum with sooo many must see pieces! Note- the entrance at the top of the "Rocky Steps" is closed. You have to use the North/East entrances. The printed map they provide has indicators of specific works that are renowned, so on my quick visit I made a point to see those. A huge variety of art and artifacts (American, European, Asian, Modern, etc). Helpful and friendly staff, clean restrooms, overall very respectful visitors. Highly recommend visiting this museum.

I am not the type of person to really like Art Museums but this was pretty cool! It had many different exhibits through the different eras. Kids are free and adults cost $25. It was a pretty cool museum with cool exhibitions. Unfortunately I didn't have enough time for the special ones like Matisse. But, the permanent ones were still pretty cool. It had a lot of great American Art collection. Friendly and accommodating staff. Definitely try to have a lot of time empty to explore the entire place.

Beautiful experience! Went here with my family, and there as so much to see. Also, I found out that a normal ticket gets you two consecutive days!! (Yes, Monday and Thursday are together since Tuesdays and Wednesdays are not open). Amazing prices of art work everywhere, and there's something for everyone. There is some sections like the armor, and some east Asian sections that are temporarily closed, but that didn't hinder the visit. Didn't try the shops yet but everything looks very nice!

Attended for Friday evening happy hour. Wonderful ambiance and upscale experience. Professional jazz singer and musician. Mixed cocktails packed a punch and white & red wine was available. Impressionist exhibit featuring rare Monet paintings is a must-see

You can spend an entire day here, if you enjoy art and history!! If you are just browsing, you can go much faster, but if you like to stop and read quite a bit or just stare at pieces you like, you will want to ration out lots of time for this giant, gorgeous museum. We spent probably 5 hours and could have spent longer, but it was enough to spend time on what we wanted to see and quickly walk through the parts we were not as interested in - and we were tired by then. Most of the items at the three gift shops we visited at the art museum were WAY overpriced, but there were sales on some of the items in the one downstairs which were more reasonable. But in general, ridiculous pricing, in my view. I'm not sure, but perhaps the museum might make more sales by lowering the cost. The museum ticket is also fairly expensive ($30 for adults) so try to make good use of it by setting aside enough time. When you buy the ticket, you also get a free ticket to the Rodin Museum, if you go the same day or the next day. You probably don't need more than 20-30 minutes for the Rodin Museum unless you really love statues of hands and naked people, but it is also a nice place to walk through anyways, if you have some time.

Took a day trip here to check out the museum and surrounding area. The art inside and outside was amazing. The amount of statues and plaques outside on the grounds was incredible. Very detailed and historic. The grounds and buildings themselves were a sight to see. We posed near the Rocky statue and ran up the same steps he ran up in the movie. Once inside we were amazed at how grand and spectacular the displays were. One of the nicest and well laid out museums we’ve ever seen. There was a lot of areas that couldn’t be filmed so we put away our phones and just enjoyed the experience. They have a nice gift shop. There is a decent amount of paid parking and eateries in the area. We pretty much spent the whole day here.

An unforgettable experience! Purchasing our tickets online beforehand made getting in effortless. There is so much to see and do in this place that it would take multiple trips to see it all. We ate lunch at the cafe and everything was nice. There was a Korean art exhibit as well as many others. This was my first time going to an art museum. You know you hit the jackpot when you literally get lost inside of all the art. I will never forget it. We will be back!

Really nice art museum with big variety of pieces to view. It is amazing how close you can get to most pieces and view them up close. Organization of the collections is good easy to navigate your way around the building. It was nice they had free paper maps for use. Parking was easy in the underground parking garage on the property. Enter early in the day to make sure it isnt full. If using the parking garage, make sure to get your parking ticket validated in the museum as it will lower the fee by 19 dollars. Eating and beverage options inside are good with several options. There is a small beverage cafe, a sit down restaurant and a cafeteria style large cafe that include made to order options in addition to pre-made selections. While there if the weather is nice, take some time to walk the grounds and park on the north side where you can view the Schuylkill River and the house along boat row. If you are lucky there may be a growing team or two on the river for a workout. Buy tickets online as there are entry time limits and getting tickets early will allow you to get the time you want.

$30 is expensive for entry. The organization of the museum is jumbled and lacked flow. The American art was scattered throughout, and while there was a Pollock, two Warhols, and several other great American artists, the lack of flow made it hard to appreciate. There is a great collection of circa 1900 art. I thought the Picasso and Matisse collections were quite good. There are better impressionist exhibits elsewhere - I thought the lack of some key impressionist artists was surprising considering that's what a lot of reviews highlighted? Much of the museum was under construction. The high school kids present were not well instructed in museum behavior.

Great way to spend the day. There is parking in the back and a small lot out front. The main entrance is not accessible. Nice range of exhibits that change out. The east Asian art and the shelter in place exhibit were definitely must sees.

I had bought my ticket in advance and I visited on a weekday, so I didn't have to wait at all. Unfortunately I did not have enough time to explore as much as I wanted, but this museum was breathtakingly good. Not only did they have an amazing collection, they also presented it in a very well-thought setting. Each hall had its own theme related to what was inside. I enjoyed this museum more than the MET and LACMA. Plus, their shops are not ridiculously overpriced like some other art museums.

Such a cultural historic building and area that it’s easy to just enjoy it from the outside and miss out on what’s inside! Highly recommend touring the building than taking a jog of the “Rocky” steps to get that incredible view and be part of cinema history. A must see in Philly!

You need at least 2-3 hours to appreciate all the beautiful art in this museum. Although it is mostly know for being the "Rocky" steps, don't skip this museum if you are an art lover. We enjoyed the highlight guided tour. It was free with admission. There are various tours you can take. Check with the front desk for times. Take the time to see the large rooms with the cloister, the asian section and find the dog kennel it is truly unique.

One of the most beautiful museums I've ever been to! I'm really intrigued by how some of the displays are built into the ceilings of each room. There is an investment and permanency and that design that is unusual. The parking is expensive, even with validation. Plan to spend an entire day here if you want to see everything in detail! I was there for 4 hours with a lunch break and I only got to see two floors. You need to make reservations. I recommend being the first ones there; It was so peaceful to be on the floors by myself.

I just enjoyed a restaurant for a Phillycheese steak sandwich 🥪 that I been wanting to enjoy for a long time now. It was fantastic. I always enjoy a good meal, thank 👏 you harris, if you place is rocking, ill come and knocking! Wonderful place, wonderful food...... VERY GOOD FOOD.

DO NOT SUPPORT!!! My brother and I came here to have some fun and grab a bite to eat. We were playing in high limit and cashed out however unlike most casinos any free play you transfer stays on the machine even if you pull your card out. We came immediately back and another player had sat down and used the free play. Not only did he admit it he was quite rude about it. At first security was more than happy to help us promising action Shane not only was it wrong but they did not tolerate this type of behavior especially because it was on camera and there were no questions. Then to upper level managers got involved and everything changed we were told it was our fault and no action will be taken. I understand claiming abandoned stop play however if it was reversed we would have been kicked out and banned for life and police would be involved this is what we were told. I am not a high roller here I very rarely if ever come here however I am at three other casinos I encourage everyone to never come and support that kind of behavior what is wrong is wrong and shouldn't matter if you have money or not. Supporting that type of behavior leads to broken societies where cash out weights character. If it is wrong for one is wrong for all. The other two security guards apologized profusely saying they really wish they could do something. I thank them both and told them that I respected their character however I have no respect for their bosses and will not put a single dollar into any slot and I suggest you do the same.

Decent casino, multiple floors. I wish they had more multiple machine and maybe more security. You have people sitting and not spending/ gambling, occupying seats for the slot machines.

It was a nice atmosphere. The smoking really wasn't that bad, and I went on a Friday night. The staff was really nice, so it was a nice night out with no issues. I would definitely go there again. It was more of a setting for the older folks, but it didn't bother me. Kind of made it that more enjoyable to be there.

Nice casino to watch ⌚️ horse 🐎 races lots of slot machines. The place needs a good cleaning. Nothing is worse then sitting in a restaurant 🍴 looking through dirty windows - it's an appetite killer to see junk on the inside of the windows. The food is so so the drinks are good. The outside sitting area is nice. The views from the garage are amazing. It's good if you like to watch harness racing. I will add pictures later

The race track opens next month. That will probably help the casino a lot!!

My husband and I decided to visit Harrah's in Chester, Sunday, April 3. We wanted to have lunch there and do a little gambling. Lunch was tasty and we had a very nice server who went out of her way to accommodate our requests. The slots were extremely cold and we quickly lost a lot more money than expected. We were there for only two hours and don't plan to return anytime soon. They do have a large number of interesting machines and the casino was packed so some people must be having better luck than we did.

Slots didn't pay like you might think. Sad that a walk into the restroom only to find a crack pipe laying on the wall urinal.. made the trip and time spent feeling not very safe

Great atmosphere, excellent variety of slots, almost every machine I played provided a positive experience being that I either won a couple hundred or broke even. My only complaint is that it was my first time visiting and unfortunately I couldn't get a player rewards card during the hours I was in the casino so I missed out on some promos. All in all, excellent time and I Highly recommend checking it out, I'll definitely go back.

I love this place. The staff are super friendly and the environment is very clean. Even though you lose your money here, since it’s a Casino, it’s still a great joy! Remember… casinos don’t make money on winners!

I love Harrah’s (as you can tell by my other reviews) but this location does not have a hotel and when you order drinks, they only arrive 1 out of ten times. I recommend making the drive down to Harrah’s Atlantic City. You will have a much better experience, in my opinion.

I take my grandfather here sometimes when he wants to get out. He doesn’t get a chance to do fun things much any more but the casino is always very clean, all the games usually on and working, and a laid back atmosphere (we go at like 1030am). He enjoys playing the slots and it’s a good memory I will keep of him.

Fun and casual casino with, friendly and happy staff attending your wants. Numerous up-to-date gaming machines live race track, and long-play winnings are frequent.

They were not busy today and had better luck this time with the slots. I love how you can donate your winnings to charity. It also does different charities. Last time it was for domestic abuse and this time to the seniors in Chester! I think that's awesome.

I visited the casino on Dec.30 and the only reason I would visit again is because of Mr Blackard (security). He was kind, friendly and attentive of my needs. I really am appreciative of his willingness to help, listen and assist me during my visit. He desires recognition by all means. . Lastly, the amenities were truly lacking, ex: no floor attendants were available to even serve beverages, no cafe was open to purchase food items , and the vending machines were not working . It seems that this casino is not accommodating to people, especially when you drive over 90 miles to visit I’m 🙏🏾 things will improve!!!

Had a good time, hadn't been there in years. Everything was closed upon arrival & they recently removed some of the games I like & they're under construction, but ALL & ALL it was a fun 😊

Seven stars is a bait and switch scam. I had 200k tier credits and mgmt took away my seven stars status because I gained a majority of my tier credits betting sports. ‘You can’t have these chicken fingers unless you lose a million a year.’ Sleep well, execs. There is a greater power waiting to judge you.

I’ve been to a few casinos and this is without a doubt the worst casino I have been to. The slot I was playing on broke and it took over 20 minutes to get someone to help despite the place being essentially empty. They removed my player card and lost me a tier credit while being rude and not apologizing for anything. No drink comps as well at the casino bars, which is essentially unheard of in Pennsylvania. Many of the slot and video poker machines had buttons that don’t work. Save yourself the trouble and go to DelPark.

Used to love going here. Hadn't been there in a long time. Very disappointed. The smoke was horrible. It smelled terrible. People were smoking at NO smoking machines and not one employee said a thing. So many machines are old and don't work well. Everyone was complaining that the machines do not pay out anything. So many buttons on the slots were unreadable. I will be going elsewhere next time.

Awesome place for Families who need a quick get away. We loved the room and the view from the balcony! The zipping down the zipline was awesome and so were the surrounding restaurants! The indoor water park was fun for everyone!

Everything good, kids loved the Beach pool and the Tacos food truck 10/10 you can get beers and cocktails too..the bossa nova music i heard love it..Parking expensive.

It's really fun, but some of the best rides you'll need an express pass or is gonna be at least 30 min wait, that depends on how many people want to ride and how full is the park, we went on a Wednesday and it was pretty packed, I can't imagine on a weekend.

It was our first time here on Saturday. I read a lot of the negative reviews and thought we were going to have a bad time. There were some plus things and some negative things. We paid for general parking which was 12.00. Waited only a few minutes for a shuttle to take us to the entrance of the water park. The lines were short so we got in VERY quick. They did a “pat down” of our bag. Some reviews of people were upset with them not thoroughly going through their bag. Me, I didn’t mind as I knew I didn’t have anything I wasn’t supposed to and it made us get in even quicker. We found a chair immediately by the kids section/ lazy river. One of the things I was hoping to find was an open chair to at least put our stuff on. We spent a few minutes at the children’s section with my grandchildren and they seemed to love that. Then off to the lazy river. Some reviews said there was a long wait for the lazy river. We waited less than 10 minutes. That was very nice. Then it was off to the wave pool. That was also very nice and Everyone in the pool seemed to have a blast! Next my son went on the spin cycle side and loved it. There was a little longer wait for that but still only waited about 20 minutes. I LOVED that there were bunches throughout the park to sit on while waiting for your children to get off the rides or to just rest. The park was VERY CLEAN. I could not tell you how the food was as we read reviews about how expensive it was to eat there. We ate a late breakfast before we got there and opted to grab an early dinner when we left. We did buy a bottle of soda, a water and a small bag of chips and that was 12.00. There were a few slides not running. It didn’t bother us too much as my son wouldn’t have time to ride them all and yes food is pricy. We enjoyed our first time there and we will be back next year !

Really nice waterpark. Reasonably priced. However, there needs to be a system for the express pass riders. Only one ride per hour or something. Because I saw the same people pass me 3 times causing me and my party to be there for over 2 hours.

Very fun! Lots of different water activities to choose from. My favorite was the lazy pool.. for many reasons. There are also few spots to buy yummy food and drinks. Gift shop is also on site— goggles, phone case etc is sold there.

We had our daughters Wedding at Camelback resort. It was AWESOME !!! Getting married on top of a mountain with spectacular views is the perfect way to start a future together. The reception at Summit House was wonderful. The service was great, as was the food and drink. Jennifer was awesome! She guided us throughout the whole process. She was there the day of the wedding and made sure everything went smoothly. I can’t thank her enough. It was just great experience!!! John and Dixie

Embarking on an exhilarating adventure to Camelbeach, Pennsylvania, I was immediately captivated by the awe-inspiring vistas that stretched as far as my eyes could fathom. Nestled among the grandeur of the mountains, the lazy river meandered gently, offering a tranquil escape. As I ventured further, the resounding echoes of laughter led me to the mesmerizing wave pool, where towering waves crashed with thrilling splendor. Every moment at Camelbeach was a symphony of excitement and serenity, a perfect harmony of nature's beauty and water park thrills.

Machine with tickets that you order online was not working properly, went to guest services and they tried to charge me 119$ for a lift ticket that online cost 79$... Biggest rip off ever. All snow is fake and tons of ice coverage, conditions were not great but solid amount of runs during the day. Like the new covered lift and access to all lift services by scanning the card. Parking used to be free, now it's 12$ for general and 25$ for "preffered". Hot dog and Fries 18$, bring your wallet, you will need it...

❌❌❌❌❌❌ We had an extremely unsatisfactory stay at the hotel: More than half of the water slides were closed during our visit. The staff was extremely rude. The room we were given was in a terrible condition – it was dusty, and there were even hairs in the bed. When we requested a room change, we were only responded to the next day and were told that they had no knowledge of our request. Even the regular ice machines, which should have been available on every floor, were not working. In addition, the water in the pools was dirty and green.

I'm not disappointed. The cost was reasonable. I went on July 5th and purchased the fun 4 pack (a bit of a discount) for the outdoors waterpark. The park was kept clean, and there was something for everyone to do. I think that weekdays are the best. I'm assuming that it gets crowded in the weekends. We were able to find a spot under a large umbrella relatively quickly.

I went there on Saturday (July 22) The ticket was $59.99 adult, and I paid $12 for parking a little bit further to the park,but they have a little bus passing all the time they can take you to the parking to the park wich was great(parking nearby is $50)🙈 The food is delicious 😋 and not so expensive. People are friends, and the place is very clean. We really enjoyed 😉

This is a beautiful place for everyone. Its children friendly and most of rides are enjoyable however many of the rides on this visit was out of commission , we were still able to enjoy our time. If half the park going to be out of commission customers should have a break in prices. I guess they have to keep the same price in order to maintain the property and high standards, understandable.

Good ski resort with lots of slopes. We were there after Christmas. It was very crowded. Temperature reached near 40 so conditions icy. They had a number of lifts out so long lines. They have food, but very expensive. It looked like a great tubing set up. Slopes we lit at night.

Wow! Wow! Wow! It’s gnarly that 200+ years ago this valley was the scene of a very very important part of the country's history. Reading about what happened year and looking at pictures do not do this place justice because in real life the area is just so damn majestic. As a veteran it was really cool to experience this with my brother and doodle. Altogether we walked 3 miles in one of the shorter loops groomed for walkers. Make sure you listen to the audio that the park provides through a number you call into. Seeing the area and then listening to the context of what happened truly does make a difference.

Great park! Lots of awesome history and beautiful sights. The audio car tour is well worth the price and the trails are well marked and well maintained. Rangers are super friendly and knowledgeable! The only bad part was some of the interpretive signs are really worn down and illegible.

I grew up with my father bringing me to historical places, so I grew into loving history. It was really cool to see the items they used and the winter camps they would stay in. My young daughter had a blast going into all the log cabins. They also have a really awesome gift shop with a little museum on the other side. They had trails you can walk, or bike, and they also have a rode you can drive and hit monuments and learn about our countries history.

During my visit to Valley Forge National Historical Park on Presidents' Day weekend, the experience was even more special thanks to the array of activities tailored for families. The park came alive with historical reenactments, guided tours, and educational programs that brought the rich history of the area to life in a very interactive and engaging way. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn more about America's past while enjoying the beauty and solemnity of the park with my family. The activities provided a unique and memorable way to connect with the history of the Continental Army and the revolutionary spirit. This visit was not just a walk through history; it was a vibrant celebration of our nation's heritage, making the experience truly unforgettable.

In many ways this location holds a place as one of the most important in American history. Over the winter of 1777-1778, the continental forces of the American revolution stayed here in terrible conditions as it prepared for what seemed to be an endless war. General Washington used this as his base for the foray across the Delaware to Trenton to engage the hessian forces stationed there. The park boasts a few dozen key areas that you can explore and monuments constructed to commemorate the rich history of that time. Aside from that the park has a varied amount of biking and hiking trails for beginner to moderate trips. The 6.6 mile loop that covers the historical aspects is a pleasant walk in mild weather and further exploration can be done at no cost to the adventurer. This should be the top of the list for those interested in the birth of a nation!

Such a beautiful park! It’s great for all sorts of activities— fishing, biking, walking, picnicking and hiking. Can’t forget all the history and monuments/cabins you can see, which is very interesting. I like more of the nature/activity side of the park, so I’ve gone biking here on the paved areas and it’s always fun with all the hills and inclines, and more recently I’ve also been hiking and some of the trails are cool and offer a variety of nice nature sceneries and best of all, a good workout. If you go hiking on the Mt. Joy trail, make sure to wear bug spray and a good pair of hiking boots/trail runners since it gets rocky. Almost all of the trails I’ve been on are usually well maintained, only one I’ll mention is that parts of the Grand Parade trail in the meadows were a bit overgrown so make sure you have your trail map and be weary of ticks! Overall, awesome experience every time and definitely one of my favorite parks in the area since you’ll always find something to do.

We naively thought we could just pop in here and then be on our way. The website just doesn't do it justice. The grounds are immense and beautifully cared for. We saw many people there just walking, jogging, and riding their bikes. Your first stop should be the visitor's center where you can learn about the history of Valley Forge and its significance. Restrooms and gift shops are also located there. We elected to do the free auto tour. Again, we didn't allow for enough time because the area is huge and there really are a lot of places you'll want to stop. My must-sees are the cabins, the arch, the train station and Washington's Quarters, and Washington's Chapel. At the very least. Entry is free. Parking is free.

This is a great national historic park for a good stroll! The landscape is hilly, but there are no major steep areas that you would have to watch out for. Most of the pathways are paved, so it is a great place to visit for those who are wheelchair bound. Many of the walkways have trees on one side, so it allows for shade for part of the day. I would recommend a hat for visitors because some pathways have no coverage. The big archway is surrounded by cobblestone, so it's not as accessible as the rest of the park. Parking and entrance into the park are free.

Beautiful preservation of one of our national history spots.. Great day trip to walk the park trail, take in the history at visitors center, relax on a blanket in the shade and enjoy a picnic lunch. Bike rentals available near visitor center parking lot.

It definitely exceeded my expectations! The visitor center has a lot of an interesting information regarding the history of the place as well as a small gift shop. There you can also purchase the affordable driving audio tour which is very educational. The park is also peaceful and quiet for a bike ride or long run.

Valley Forge is HUGE and there's so much to see! My wife and I are photographers and have engagement session here often. It's a beautiful location for photos with tons of great options. The park is dog-friendly, great for picnics and family activities with large open fields. You can drive around the park to different spots, or use the miles and miles of walking trails. 10/10!

I loved the walk around this national beauty that was always so close to home, and yet I never visited. I loved every second of the hike. If you have the time to walk around, I suggest it. You can drive through the park as well, but our founding fathers didn't have motorized vehicles, so you can take a stroll. (;

Went on a rainy Saturday afternoon mid October. Fully manned, nice visitor center with exhibits, gift shop and movie. Did the 10 mile circle driving tour around the encampment with stops at the train station, Washington's headquarters and the church. Everything was very well maintained, fully annotated and staffed with rangers. Very impressed with all the history and the park. Surprisingly, everything, including parking, was free. On a sunny day, there are nice bike and hiking parts to use. Well worth the visit.

My photos do not do this beautiful national park justice with its 3,500 acres of wide open meadows, woodlands, streams, trails, log cabins, a visitor's center, National Memorial Arch, several historical buildings to explore including Washington’s Headquarters and the Washington Memorial Chapel, and more to explore. Washington and his troops spent the winter at Valley Forge during 1777–78. Often when you visit you will see reenactment actors near the log cabins in character. There is close to 30 miles of exposed trails throughout the park to walk or ride a bike. There are additional hidden marked trails in the woods to challenge yourself and to hike Mount Misery and Mount Joy. Plenty of meadows to fly a kite and set up a picnic blanket. Also, several picnic tables near the Arch under several large oak trees. Restrooms are available. Able to fly drones over the "flying field" on North Valley Forge Road just as you enter the park. Plenty of parking options. Just taking a drive through is also nice. No park fee to enter.

Beautiful rolling hills and historical artifacts. Amazing views. Takes one back to 1770s Pennsylvania. We went during Thanksgiving week when few visitors were there. Highly recommend. There was plenty of free parking and restrooms.

Make sure to do alot of research before booking your tickets. I traveled with 5 kids (2 teens 3 under 8). If you are looking for you and your family to make the most of your day like we were, consider purchasing the fast pass. The lines for both water and dry rides must be 45 minutes or greater, so without the fast pass most people just hung out at the wave pool to avoid long lines. The fast pass has both water and dry rides or only water or dry. We also purchased the “all day meal plan” this plan allows you to eat every 90 minutes approx $35. However, we could not make the most of this plan since the line to order food had to be 1-2 hours long. We were only able to use this pass once (waste of money), especially since the park has early closing hours. My takeaways from this trip: 1. Make sure to buy fast pass for those who will be getting on rides to make the most of your trip 2. You’re better off buying 1 meal plan on the website (long food lines and park closes early to get the most out of the all day meal plan) 3. Make sure to buy the souvenir cups for unlimited soda, juice or water refills. 4. Buy a waterproof phone case on Amazon (Dorney park charges $30-$40) 5. They have the Carnival event happening and you’re able to enjoy food from around the world (nothing spectacular about the “cultural” food) 6. They stop serving beer at 6pm make sure to get your drinks in early 7. Plant snoopy for smaller children does not accept fast pass so don’t waste your money if you have small children

there are two types of people in the eyes of amusement parks: type 1, those who love them and type 2, those who cannot stand them. I am one of the latter. Please determine which type you are before you enter and prepare accordingly. Type 1 people, i think you will have a blast. for someone who doesn’t like amusement parks, Dorney is a pleasant surprise. It is clean and seems safety checked and double checked. If you have children and live nearby, get a season pass. so you could spend 2 hours when it is not crowded and come back again. 8 hours in a park for Type 2 will be too much. Most of us come just because we are chaperoning the children. keep them within sight. there are a lot of teenagers and high school boys roaming around. In general, i stepped in for the first time and did not die. I am even contemplating of coming back so i could watch the kids. Food price is high and not healthy, for season pass holders, pack a little snack and some water, come back more often. if you are only coming once, eat the unhealthy food and have a ball.

I bought my season pass last year as soon as I found out that kids up to five were free. We did go a few times in the summer but so many people! Now it's is October they have the Halloween theme and it is so much fun. Keep in mind the kid rides are closed but my five years old loves it. The fog and so many characters dressed up walking round trying to scare you, but when they saw my daughter since her age they would all talk and dance And sing with her . Really one night I will never forget with her!

Not a bad park. To get the best out of it, you'll need two days I think. The parking fee is ridiculous, it should be included in the admission fee. If your into thrill rides, this is for you. Nice smaller rides too though. Good park.

Smaller than six flags but definitely has a certain charm to it that makes me love it. Such a fun park and they have the peanuts characters! THEY SHOULD ALSO BRING SNOOPY OUT MORE JUST SAYING

I always love visiting Dorney Park! From water rides, to flag rides, roller coasters, and kid rides, there’s definitely something for everyone at this park. The lines for regular rides (including roller coasters) were very short. You could pretty much walk up to each ride and get right on. The lines for the Waterpark were much longer. The park was very clean and safe. There were security officers walking around the whole park. I was especially impressed by the ride operators. They were all very pleasant and cheerful. Their energy marched that of some Disney cast members. Highly recommend visiting Dorney Park if you ever find yourself in the Allentown area! Make sure you ride Possessed while you’re there!

Park was great. There are all kinds of rides for young kids to teens to adults. Good food/snack options. No wait at the entry, though, it was crowded as some reviews have mentioned for Saturdays. We will go again. One thing I didn't like was that a lot of people block seats with towels or their stuff, and kind of rude about it.

Dorney Park’s Haunt event is amazing!! The rides barely have lines, the staff is awesome , and there’s just so much to see and do! I took my 5 yr old, and two 9 year olds, with more than enough to do Halloween wise and so on. Definitely highly recommend this amusement park. The only thing I disliked, was the price of the food, which is always expensive in these kinds of parks, as well as the insane amount of traffic exiting the parking lot once we were leaving. All in all, wound definitely go back in a heartbeat!!

Came here with 4 kids, ages 12, 9, 5, and 2. There is alot to do here for everyone. We came during the Haunt nights. The pumpkin fest was a bit of a let down. Waited in line for an hour for face painting. They set the pumpkin fest up in the water park area. There wasn't very much to do there. But in the other sections of the park, there was Snoopy's Planet which had so much to do for little kids. Lines were about a 15 minute wait on average. Not horrible. The rest of the park was nice as well. My 9 year old went on my of the coasters. She lived all of them. The wild mouse had the longest wait time of 45 minutes (which was too much for us), so we bought fast passes. We were able to use the fast passes on the Wild mouse 3 times but then went to the carnival section and the guy refused to let us on without wrist bands. I found one shop that had one wrist band. And when I found a second wrist band they wouldn't give it to me without my child present because they have to put them on in the store in front of the employees. I explained she wouldn't come to the store because of the clowns lurking outside and he still refused. He told me to go somewhere without clowns and get a wrist band then, which if you've been here meant going back towards the entrance and we had gone in that direction for the mine shaft ride. Anyways, it's not a horrible experience, but you definitely want to buy the fast passes at the beginning of the day.

I've been a season pass holder for many years now, and have witnessed several different changes in the park. Last year, I didn't make it out due to the pandemic, and this year, I was finally able to make it out for Haunt. The normal season operating hours of closing at 7pm, have robbed me of my normal park visiting time. I work far away, and sometimes we would go to the park just after 7pm and enjoy a few rides. With the new hours I couldn't even make it to the park until Haunt. And Haunt was a disappointment compared to years past. The Bayou attraction was the only decent area, followed by Necropolis, but the rest were understaffed and frankly boring. I'm pretty sure we're not going to buy passes again for next year, unless they have a super-special discount. If the park isn't open when I can attend, that sort of defeats the purpose of the season pass....

It's the best of both worlds, part amusement park with Riley coaster 🎢 rides and half water park. Great food options if you willing to walk about. I recommend simply buying the $18 cup with unlimited refills you can thank me later. Is it me or does a lot of staff look alike?

It would be nice if the was signage indicating the direction toward the exit. none whatsoever. maybe something to consider incorporating Dorney. It was surpassingly empty, the lines weren't long at all. especially for a Saturday. I was very grateful for this. bring your own water, don't waste money where you don't have to. they don't care if you bring your own snacks either. the bag check process isn't that rigorous.

We came to this area of Pennsylvania to visit Dorney Park and Hershey park. Dorney Park was very nice. That evening it was extremely busy. They have their Halloween Haunt which was very well done. It's a really nice looking park that has a decent array of rides. I came for the roller coasters and enjoyed myself very much.

I love visiting the park, but only when I'm not too busy. I can't wait for next summer! I hope to meet Franklin! And they really should give a meet list for the Peanuts Gazebo in the app and website! That’s what I wish.

Crowded but very enjoyable. A lot of different rides. Get to the park early and enjoy both parks. The price is really good right now. I can’t wait for the new thrill ride to open up. I would definitely recommend getting a locker to place your stuff. I like how they have cubbies before each ride. The waits weren’t that bad on a Saturday and the amount of rides we went on within that time were really amazing. Definitely end a busy day with the Ferris wheel with great views of the park

It is a fantastic experience. The children will have a lot of fun, they have a wide variety of games, both the water park and the amusement park, highly recommended

Dorney Park is a great place to take your family and friends. It has filled with all types of rides. Kids section is separate and my 5 year old kid enjoyed each ride. The park is well-maintained and the carnival festival makes it more attractive (if you stay little late in night). It also haves plenty of food options. The staff was friendly and helpful, making sure that we had everything we needed to enjoy our day. We especially enjoyed the river ride, wave pool etc., which offered a refreshing break from the heat. Overall, Dorney Park is a fantastic destination for families with kids of all ages, and we will sure visit again in future. It cost more if you are going in weekend. Also, locker and parking charges are bit higher so be prepare for that.

Haven't Ben to dorney in years. Was very impressed the park was clean. We went during the Haunt and all the actors were awesome. Had a blast. Definitely recommend a visit to the park.

The most exited place I've ever been this year. This Botanical garden with incredible flowers and plants were amazing experience. So many varieties of trees 🌳. So man flowers that I have never seen before. Fountain ⛲️ show also was incredible, lots of good emotions and memories from it. So if you like nature, flowers and plants come and visit. You better come here in the morning 🌄 so not to get burn under the sun. Bring hat and sun's cream to protect yourself. Lots of pictures 📸 from here will be our good memories

My sister surprised me with a visit here a couple weeks ago and the entire area is beautiful. We walked around and visited everything in about 2 hours and then saw the early fountain show which was very cool. The late one is supposed to be much better but we couldn’t stay. They have a very nice dining area that we walked through but didn’t eat at and they also had live music playing when we went. A gorgeous place to visit if you like plants and the outdoors.

Wow. Simply amazing... Not sure there is much more I can say that others haven't. There is a reason this place has so many reviews and a rating this high. This is the best botanical garden I have ever been to and I've seen a lot. The conservatory by itself is amazing let alone the other features of the place including the old trees, the various fountains, the treehouses, the train and the historical building on site. I don't think one day is enough to truly experience this place and if I lived closer I would have a membership in a heartbeat. I'm truly impressed by this place and cannot recommend it enough. Stop reading reviews and go see it, it's spectacular.

Went for the Christmas lights and it did not disappoint. The trees were beautifully decorated and there was even a fountain show that was both colored and synced to music. It was very cold, but they were selling hot chocolate that was actually really good, which warmed me up nicely. Also make sure to check out the gift shop, as it was full of not only unique plants but beautiful Christmas ornaments, candies, clothing, and decorations. All of that was cool, but by far the best part of the place is the Conservatory. It is a massive, stunning building on both the outside and inside. It looked like a rainforest inside, and with the addition of the lights, it felt almost surreal. They also had a 10,000-pipe organ, which is one of the biggest in the world, playing itself and adding to the ambiance. You can walk behind it and see many of the pipes, some of which are almost as tall as the building itself. It’s pretty awesome.

Beautiful display, colorful flowers, the weather was perfect. First time visiting and it was a great experience. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. What makes it more unique is we also watched the solar eclipse there. ♥️ We stayed around for 4 hours and saw almost everything. It was also great to know the history of the garden and the buildings.

Beautiful every season of the year. You will not be disappointed. Initially we did a quick trip to visit not necessarily planning to return. However, we enjoyed it so much that we decided to get a year membership. Appreciated that our one time entrance fee that day could be used towards our yearly membership. Quality musician performances are an added bonus when relaxing for a bite to eat and drink at their outdoor restaurant seating.

What a beautiful place! Yes, there's construction going on in one area but it doesn't distract from the whole gardens. Definitely bring your walking shoes and a folding chair. You will walk a lot but it's so worth it. Your chair is for when you sit and watch the fountain show, which is a definite must do. The Idea Garden is beautiful and so were the dahlias that were in bloom. Beauty is everywhere and the benches are placed to sit, rest your feet, and enjoy it all. We hit every area and enjoyed it all. My favorite was the Fountain show and different Lights show that are around the property. My only issue was not enough trash cans. We didn't want to miss anything so we picked up drinks and a snack and kept walking around. Then we were carrying our empty containers for quite a bit before we found a trash can to dispose of it properly. All in all..... a terrific day with beautiful night time shows to end it. Definitely a must see. If close enough, become a member!

Listen if you are into plants, beautiful design, water display, open space and nature. I will even go further even if you are not an outdoor person, do yourself a favor, go to Longwood Gardens you will not regret your visit. Great food as well. The landscape design was splendid, breathtakingly beautiful.

We always love coming to Longwood Gardens. We have been there for the Christmas lights and plan to go back this winter but we were recently there in the summer. This is a wonderful place to visit no matter what age. It is definitely a lot of walking and completely worth it. It is handicap accessible. I can't say enough about how beautifully kept Longwood Gardens is and how much love and time goes into every area. The staff members are very knowledgeable and inspiring. They even go the distance and offer to take pictures of you and your family and tell you what is the best angle and place to stand. You can tell that they really like working there. The tree houses are neat especially if you have younger children. The conservatory is breathtaking. There are so many beautiful plants that we wouldn't have ever seen in person. They are currently building an expansion! I can't wait to see it finished.

Visited Sept 1, 2023- Gorgeous place! The grounds are impeccable- and the variety of plants and flowers is innumerable. We stayed for the evening light/fountain show which was a fun nighttime presentation. Bring a camp chair for the show! I will definitely return as there’s so much that changes from season to season.

Since moving away, It's been years since I have been here. When i left PA, they were starting some major renovation, I have been keeping up with the progress online and on U-tube. It was really nice to see it finally to see it in person. We went on Monday morning when it first opened and it was busy. The gardens are still beautifully done. I can't wait for the renovation to be completed.

Longwood Gardens is a popular spot for many, and for good reason! My wife and I are wedding photographers and we shoot engagements at Longwood often. There is no shortage of fantastic photo spots here, especially as they continue to build onto the gardens and continue to improve the grounds. Not only is it a great location for photos, but it's an excellent family destination or for a fun date day/night. There's a cafe, a sit-down restaurant, and they often hold shows, concerts, and other events for entertainment. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, and there's always more to see! 10/10!

I have come here many times and I always enjoy the experience. The gardens are beautiful with so much to see. They have wheel chairs that you can request for free. We got a good workout pushing around our friend. There are a few options for eating but you can bring something to eat in a bag.

First time seeing the Holiday Lights at Longwood Gardens. We weren't disappointed. Our entry time was at 9PM, which only gave us 2 hours to check it out. We had enough time to see the displays, but wish we had at least one more hour. Next year we'll buy our tickets earlier and spend more time. Very impressive light displays. The Conservatory was amazing with the various Christmas tree themes and fragrances from the flowers.

Loved this place! Went at Christmas time to celebrate two birthdays in our group. Definitely worth the trip. Really beautiful and festive! Would love to back in the spring/summer to see everything in bloom!

Beautiful as always. Can't wait for the new area to open later this year. In law's really enjoyed themselves walking around and seeing the spring blooms. A must see if you are in Chester county. Highly recommend going during Christmas time as well!

Amazing Amazing!!! 2 hours in NOT enough! Please leave ample time for you to explore this amazing massive 1,100 acre garden. Just so amazing. So absolutely well kept i want to return everyday! Also month to month it looks so beautiful and different. So amazing and so worth it.

We had a wonderful visit! You could spend an entire day exploring the grounds or choose shorter loops. We stayed a little over 4 hours. Most of the walking was very easy and can accommodate a stroller easily. We enjoyed a great lunch in the cafe (although pretty pricey), had great interactions with staff, and loved exploring the interior and exterior options! I felt like a large amount of time had shade available which is appreciated.

Beautiful garden grounds with an absolutely astonishing collection of flowers, trees, bushes, cacti. Hard to choose a favorite part - everything is just amazing! You definitely don't want to miss the blooming flower beds in the spring & the conservatory with its green wall! Visiting Longwood Gardens is my most memorable visit of all botanical gardens & arboretums. Reservations are required & limited during spring blooms. Make sure to book your visit in advance not to be turned away. Entrance fees aren't very cheap (comparable to many other arboretums & botanical gardens) but here it's very well worth it!!! There's a nice beer garden area adjacent to a cafe - great for taking a break between roaming the grounds for hours at a time. The cafe is pricey & I can't vouch for the food taste & quality. They have a few craft beers on tap in the beer garden + canned beer & bottled wine in the cafe. There's also a few soda machines. The one little thing I wish they improved was more trash bins in the park. I didn't see a single trash can for over an hour, while walking through the right half of the park.

Fantastic time here with coworkers, family, and friends. The water show they have is not only mesmerizing but it's scenic in ways you so choose by changing where you are watching. Whether you're right up close to the jets, near the pathway formed with trees parallel to each other, by the botanical garden or near the benches outside the gallery/museum entrance - you're sure to enjoy the view. There's also a super cute orange and white cat around the garden sometimes!

Its simply another world to see. A world of trees and plants. Took me 4.30 hours to finish the most parts of it, from the fountain to the meadow, walked about 5 miles. Do some research before visit, bring enough food and drinks, hat, sunglasses etc. I guarantee it will be a memorable tour of your life. Couldn’t believe my eyes that man could build something like this. I saw people from all over the world, people of all religion, people of all ages at the same place enjoying the mesmerizing views of Longwood garden.

Beautiful place for a day trip. The flowers and foliage are ever-changing so it's a different experience at different times of the year. They have beautiful fountains which put on shows throughout the day and after dark they have an amazing fountain light show to end the day.

This was my first time visiting and it was so amazing! It was so peaceful. The flowers and plants were so beautiful and well taken care of! We walked around for over two hours, so make sure you wear comfortable shoes. I am definitely looking forward to going back, especially around Christmas time to see the lights! It's a great place to take family photos, wedding photos etc. If you love flowers and plants, it's a must that you visit soon!!

Great grounds beautiful setup. I'm a nature bum so I appreciate the trees, flowers, and all the smells that comes with it. I'd recommend this place to anyone! Lots to see, so make sure to put some comfortable shoes on. You will be doing a lot of walking.

What a lovely way to spend the afternoon, the theme this year was retro. I have to admit I enjoyed the fire and ice display even more last year. With that said.. My time spent appreciating the beautiful grounds, architecture wonders and attention to detail was outstanding. The gardens were packed with people which is nice to see so many of us all appreciating the lights and the plants. The cafe was a mad house. We were all packed in there like sardines. The cream of mushroom soup is tasty, and the battered french fries so good. The orchid room, and the Elm trees are definitely amongst my favorites. Always clean bathrooms available. Definitely worth the trip to experience what the winter season has to offer.

I was here last night (12/19). Longwood is visually stunning! We were bundled up for the cold weather, so we were able to walk all around this huge property. This is a great place to bring children. They are in absolute awe when viewing the incredible lights! Almost all the paths are paved, so folks in wheelchairs can also enjoy the experience. The staff is ALL pleasant and extremely helpful and accommodating. We had a wonderful experience!

We caught the spring bloom at its peak. Including the blue poppies and the century agave that’s about to bloom for the first time in 20 years. We had to dodge raindrops, so the café tent and the conservatory were great places to stay dry. The docents seem to magically appear anytime you had a question and are so knowledgeable. The entire facility is wheelchair friendly. There are a couple of paths that had steps, and we had to go a little further to find the wheelchair path, but it all worked. As someone who has regular access to the Biltmore Estate, we found Longwood Gardens even more amazing and as an aside, more affordable.

My heart is so happy!!! God truly is amazing! He created the flowers and the plants of all different sizes and colors for us to enjoy and the display of them here, was absolutely breathtaking. The knowledge and the passion each one of the staff members have made this an even more memorable experience . Can't wait to come back with my mom! I needed this, thank you so much!

Amazing botanical gardens. Went during the off season, still fantastic! I can’t wait to go back when everything is in bloom. Great staff, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Great displays inside and out, also a major plus was this was the nicest port a potty I’d ever been inside! As a lover of plants and botanical gardens this was on my bucket list for a while and very happy I went. Also super good food on site, my mom who is gluten free was also able to find a good lunch which is so nice.

10 STARS!!! Absolutely amazing and beautiful. An experience that you see and even smell with the wonderful flower scents. I hope heaven looks something like this... and I only saw 1 building! Arranging another longer family trip.

I just toured the museum which was free. There is a lot here, it's an impressive collection although maybe a bit of a struggle to understand the rhyme or reason to some of the trains or pieces in the collection. I preferred the Pennsylvania train museum but both are impressive. I didn't do any of the train rides, perhaps that would have bumped it to 5 stars.

We drove an hour to visit here and were not disappointed. I was extremely shocked that everything was free except the train ride which was still only $6! It was just a short ride back and forth, about 20 minutes, but still cool to see what it was like to be in and old train. If you take your time and actually read, look, and listen to all the information in the museum, you could spend HOURS here. We soeny most the day and had packed a picnic lunch we enjoyed on a picnic table there. The mall is right next door if you happen to need something else. ;)

This is an amazing place to take anyone who is a fan of trains, the history of this region or just someone looking to explore something new. The collection of steam engines is vast and it's definitely worth taking the rail yard shuttle, for just $6 you get a decent length ride that shows you some good views

We visited Steamtown National Historical Site on a weekend. The rangers greeted us with smiles and were very informative. The site has acres of steam locomotive history. Lots of photo opportunities. Great place for family time.

A lovely and family-friendly place to visit in Scranton; it's pleasant to see the old lifeblood of the Wyoming Valley maintained by such knowledgeable and friendly staff. I do wish they had more trains, but the nation as a whole is lacking them so I can't complain. As for attractions? Steamtown NHS has the largest steam locomotive in history (the Union Pacific Big Boy), and the gorgeous Reading T1 is stunning to see. Even the smallest mašinka are giant up close, and the indoor exhibits are tastefully done and quite informative. Plus, the local railroad company uses parts of the facility as an active track, so visitors can regularly see and hear trains at work, which really adds to the experience. Do keep on mind that active trains can be loud, so visitors sensitive to sudden noise should be forewarned.

The place to go if you have any interest in trains! Mostly vintage steam engines but also some diesel electric locomotives. Loads of hands on stuff. Climb into the engineer's seat and ring the bell! Learn all about rail power and railroading. Take an excursion or a short caboose ride. A super fun place to visit! (Plan a couple of days and also visit the trolley museum on site!). Thank you National Park Service!

I'm trying to visit as many National parks and monuments as possible. We were driving through PA, so we stopped at Steamtown. It's very informative. They have quite a collection of old engines, a working roundhluse/turntable, and extensive displays. We took the 30-min short ride, which was okay, but you don't really go anywhere. It's $6 for adults and $1 for young kids.

Real great national historic site. It’s really amazing what the National Park Services has done to preserve this important piece of American rail history. Very detailed and fun exhibits. Feel free to move along at your own pace. You can easily spend a couple hours reading and watching all the materials that have been prepared. Rangers are there to help you if you need it.

This place is such a beauty! It’s free to enter, just make sure it’s open. They had “The Big Boy”! Such an amazing sight to see. Definitely a fun place to learn as well, they have amazing history about trains and freight going across America and how everything has changed. I fell in love with the history and everything I saw about the history. The trains are cool, and you can go in most (not all) trains!

Just Incredible! They rebuit the Roundhouse into the largest museum of the railroad I have ever visited. Ut was great luck for me to arrive just as they fired up a restored engine for a few laps around the yard

Amazing facility to visit over and over. It's not too often you can roam around a working railroad. Keep safety in mind when exploring the displays. Check the schedule for tours, short train rides or even excursions. Admission to the site and round house are free. Displays are super informative and include full size cut-aways to help explain steam and diesel technology. I've been a visitor for years but I wish I had made the initiative to visit for the first time many many years earlier.

Amazing experience! This museum is one of the best I've ever been. Great organized, you're going through the history of railroads of the United States. Exhibits are made of the real locomotives so that you can see the greatest and the real size of them. Also there are a lot of educational exhibits, so you can learn how it was done and worked. Would definitely recommend to visit

Steamtown is an amazing museum that tells a good stories about trains and how trains influence the ways American lives. It has a very large yard with an impressive collection that consists of locomotives, and many passenger cars. Its massive locomotive shop has many engines in various stages of restoring. Its technology museum has exhibits that demonstrates the changes in railroad technology over the years. This museum is a must stop for both train enthusiasts and common folks. A good place to walk around to soak in the grandeur of machinery that improved the quality of life for many, and it tells a very good stories of how trains transformed America over the years. Many things to do here. You can easily spend a whole day here.

It was a nice day. It's only six bucks for entry and that includes the the ride on a historic steam engine locomotive. The ride is short. It doesn't go fast but it's it's fun to do to be on one of those trains from 100 years ago and the locomotives they have around for you to walk through was amazing. The history of the steam locomotive was amazing. It was good for the kids. My grandkids enjoyed it and like for six bucks a kid a person you can't go wrong. Only negative thing I have to say is that the other some of the buildings were closed. The only thing they did have open was the museum shop or the book shop where you can go in and buy a souvenirs but it was interesting. It was good. It was a good day

I stop here each time I go through THE ELECTRIC CITY, it's free and interesting. I wish it were funded better though, seeing as half of the museum has been closed for over a year due to HVAC issues. Tragic.

A great place for a railroad enthusiast, young or old. They've painted the Union Pacific 4012 Big Boy and it looked great. They've also painted Reading 2124 and it looks nice as well. The rest of the area was clean and they had park rangers and a couple of guides to answer questions. Thectrolley museum was open as well with trolley rides. (Steamtown is free, but trolley museum has a cost.)

It is amazing that this place is free for everyone. I've been visiting since I was a little kid and look forward to bringing my kids here one day. One of only a handful of places keeping these beautiful steam powered beasts alive. Definitely a great stop even for those not into trains.

Parking was easy. Casino was very clean. Great variety of machines. Cocktail waitresses we're plentiful. Only downfall was some people were smoking in the non smoking areas. I will definitely be back.

Great hotel. The rooms are clean and smell amazing. Staff was very friendly. Not many good restaurant options. Food court is very dead. Loved the casino floor. Plenty of slot machines and tables. I would definitely go back.

The Mohegan Sun in CT is definitely better. Although, this one is pretty decent. We arrived late about 11pm and every restaurant in there is closed. I'm a little disappointed. Plenty of slot machines to go around, the poker room had 1 table playing. There's no smoking section for players, which is definitely a plus for me. The place was clean. We booked the hotel here also, room is clean. Parking lot was a bit confusing to get into, but overall it's pretty okay.

Fun and convenient casino to visit! Joe a Roulette table dealer is the bomb 🤩 he’s the absolute best to really have a good time with!! Restaurants are all delicious, but you need to make reservations. The cooking show through the Rustic Kitchen is also a blast too!! W a group or not! Highly recommend making a reservation there, it’s a show you need to experience that at least once it’s a lot of fun and wine is generously paired and served with each course!!! 😍

This casino is very diverse with lots of food and drink options. I mean, gambling is gambling but it’s a bit unusual for a casino basically in the middle of nowhere, to be this classy and fun. My only complaint is no valet parking. I walked half a mile in the cold to park and get my car and would have happily paid to valet. Otherwise, it’s a cool spot!

The personnel at Mohegan are very helpful, from registration to security, particularly with the drinks amenities, as my server came by several times an hour. The slot machine that I played hit more times than was expected from previous experiences. The waiter at Johnny Rockets was most accommodating, warmly welcoming me and making sure my order was correct. He ensured that the Veterans discount was applied to the bill without being prompted and honored me for my service to our country. I recommend that other visitors arrive early, as during later morning hours, parking becomes much more scarce for closer spots to the entrance. I appreciate the hospitality offered to me as a first-time player.

I rolled the dice with the high rollers and if I wasn’t lucky to find another special unicorn to share my fortune alongside. If you can find a waiter you might wait but patience is a virtue and when the drink arrives you will realize the service was well worth the wait. I didn’t write the review for any compensation or because I hit the 777 on the slots or even cause I might just be sloshed. I want you to know that unicorn sparkle fart won’t fart around anymore when he’s invited to such a miraculous evening of fortune.

Can’t you do something about the cigarette smoke? It’s so bad even in the “non-smoking” section. Our party left there with headaches and sore throats. Until something changes, we won’t be back. NY casinos are non smoking and they are still always busy. It seems like it would keep your casino cleaner if you went to non smoking or had a smoking room like they have in airports. Or maybe upgrade your ventilation system. This is probably the worse casino experience we’ve had in a long time. Also, the Ladies rooms need more consistent attention, it’s terrible to have to check three stalls before you find one without fecal matter all over the seats. I think it could be a nice casino, but we won’t be back because our lungs couldn’t take it. Our health is more important to us.

Stayed here for a night. We paid 5 times more than in a nice hotel in Vegas for ex, which doesn’t make any sense. After that, at least you expect dinner options open till late for a casino hotel or at least all the gambling tables open. Well, this is not the case; everything was shut down at 11 pm, and even the craps table. They are insanely annoying with the ID checking system, asking you every single time you wanna pass by the restaurants or anywhere that’s in the casino; they will take a picture of you every single time and then even inside could ask you again for your ID several times. THE WORST PART? Knowing that the price was insane, there was no soap in the bathroom while taking a shower - the front desk person said, ‘everyone complains about it haha, you should have called reception,’ which doesn’t make any sense since I was naked showering. Bad experience.

I can't speak to the rooms since the casino was my destination. Security staff were helpful, informative, and available. Good selection of slots, including a smoking section. Table games had reasonable bet limits. Overall, the vibe was really good on the floor. Strangers congratulating others and not bitter if they weren't up. I signed up for the Members Card and got two $10 Freeplay credits ($10 for text, and $10 for email). I will tell you that I walked outta there with $589.62 using ONLY the $20 Freeplay credits!!! The only money of mine I spent, was getting food on the way out! I will be back and want to try the Comedy Club too.

Our room was clean & well made. We has the smoking floor, so it did have a smell of smoke. Issue I had was there was no microwave. Also I heard they had a pool that is now gone and a bigger gym, which is now small. I as an employee how much they got paid and it wasn't much especially for the amount of money that the casino makes.

It's a nice casino. It's quite large. Lots of games to play. It was nice to see a $5 table to play Mississippi stud. But dealers were super friendly and helpful. That's always nice! played some slot machines did pretty good. All in all I had a good time and I would go back. couldn't quit figure out the parking though.

No valet service. For me, a person with disabilities this was a huge shock when we got there. The fact that they have motorized carts was a plus. The food, the only place that was memorable was Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. It was hands down the best steaks the wife and I ever had. But for the money they should have been. The breakfast from Johnny Rockets was average at best. Nothing to remember. Our lunch from the Hive was even less memorable. Nothing was fresh, it was all frozen and heated in a microwave. After that lunch the food didn't settle well with me so I didn't eat dinner. My wife order from the Bistro and it was horrible. She ate 4 bites and threw the rest away. The only other place we ate from was the coffee place, the coffee and desserts from there were exceptional. Overall our experience was ok. I realize they are doing renovations but some considerations to there customers would make up for this fact.

Establishment is always clean. Bathrooms are always clean. Even during the Party on the Patio, the venue stays clean. Usually quite busy any day we've gone. Never had any issues with obnoxious patrons. Always been a good time

This casino was nice, has good restaurants and live entertainment the reason for the low rating is because service was very slow when you are playing and waiting for a drink. And the fact of them allowing people to smoke while playing is so bad, we couldn't breathe at times. They do have a non smoking section but limited games and not the same games as smoking section, so sometimes if you want to play a certain game you are stuck going to the smoking section. Besides that it's a great casino.

I stayed here recently after meeting relatives at a halfway point from upstate NY. I’m not a gambler but needed a comfortable place to stay for the night and my relatives wanted to enjoy the casino. The king room I stayed in was really comfortable. The Google chrome cast let me catch up on my Bravo shows using my peacock app on my phone. As I said, I’m not a gambler but utilized the free play card they gave me and ended up winning a little $ that night and called down to order Ruth Chris Steakhouse Takeout - conveniently located in the casino to enjoy in my room. The staff could have been a little friendlier there but the food was hot and delicious. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Everything felt upgraded and the person who checked me in was extremely kind and helpful. They let me choose which floor to stay on. My floor has vending and ice machines which also accepted credit cards. The shuttle bus was convenient the next day to take me up to the self parking lot so i don’t have to walk with my luggage. I didn’t even get to check out the spa but would have loved to. I’m not a gambler but would definitely go back to meet relatives at a halfway point again just to enjoy the comfortable rooms and a little get away.

i have never been to a casino before. my uncle sent me to take my aunt to cheer her up after a distressing week. it worked. the place really is stunning in both negative and positive ways. firstly, i was not allowed to enter until they scanned my face for facial recognition and entered it into their system. i do NOT like this. do you really need FACIAL RECOGNITION? i had no choice but to agree and i think it was very wrong. and when i went to get my sweater (it is quite cold inside), they made me get scanned AGAIN even though i had just been inside...... what are they really doing with all of our faces i wonder? the irish pub inside had surprisingly good food. the ceiling and lights are massive and hypnotizing. everyone here other than the workers are very old and you can smell that sad old person stench permeating from every corner. not necessarily a bad thing but it makes me want to cry for no discernible reason. if you stand still too long in a place like this, tears will just come out. i like that you can smoke inside i think that's cool and i love smoking. the bartender at the big round bar, he had a limp. he was great. my favorite machine is the lucky pony game. i should have walked away when i was up. but that's the point right?

I've been here alot in the past year with a family member. We enjoyed it but then they rearrange and drink servers are getting hard to find. Last visit took over 1 1/2 hrs to finally find someone to get a water. Electric cashiers were down throughout the casino floor, many games were off line & all the games were very sluggish. Usually staff is great and friendly but our least visit they were short, nasty, or ignored you.

Awesome hotel and casino. The restaurateurs have great food to eat. We stay for at least two nights and always end up having a great time. The only thing I beg of you guys is to open up the pool.

We went to the casino. Walking in the door the cigarette smoke and stench hits you full force. We attempted to find the NO SMOKING SECTION, complete waste of time since there were smokers and full ashtrays everywhere. The smoke was everywhere you went, I would have bet the air filtration system is faulty or extremely undersized. It was actually affecting my breathing to the point that we left in short time. We like to visit casinos and this was the worst air quality by far. I couldn't wait to get outside for fresh air. First thing upon arriving home was to fill up the wash machine with every article of clothing I was wearing to get rid of the smoke stench. It really was horrendous how bad the air quality was on the entire casino premise. We will not be returning.

My son and I stayed at your hotel as we were attending a concert. We had a great time in the casino. Unfortunately, we got back to the hotel at 9:40pm and all restaurants were closed. 🥹 Aside from that it was a great experience. But PLEASE, I must ask..what brand is that FANTASTIC mattress and pillows??? I loved the comfort and want to buy them! I appreciate your reply in advance..Thank you! Merry Christmas!

Its funny how if you look at the reviews the owner only addresses the good reviews and never the poor ones. That should tell you everything you need to know. Anyway the reason for the 1 star service review is they refuse to give the courtesy of an extended checkout by a simple 1 hour when I request it the night before checkout. So 12pm instead of 11am. We’re up late in the casinos gambling til 3 or 4 in the morning. You would think the LEAST they could do is give those who request it a simple hour whenever they request it. Will not be returning. I’ll give my money to a different hotel and casino.

The casino did not allow my wife to enter the casino as they do not accept all forms of US GOVERNMENT ISSUED IDS. We have been to over 20 other casinos in the state and all allowed my wife to use her ID. I would not recommend visiting this casino as they are not accepting of customers who wish to do their business there. I talked to a “supervisor” who said that’s the way it is. Apparently Mohegan Pennsylvania has more security measures than government buildings, airports, and any other venue.

Nothing 4 ⭐️ about this place. Breakfast is not included. They do offer a coupon with 2 coffees OR a baked good for a room with double occupancy. The front desk representative was extremely rude. When we asked if breakfast is included, they handed us the coupon. When we asked how much would the breakfast cost, they just raised their brows and said why would we expect them to know! Umm ??!! Oh and the 21+ age requirement is because the hotel is attached to a casino.

This is a place where you create memories; whether you are a family, or an individual. You will keep coming back. I love the trains, and the shops! This is a great attraction, and you have the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania across the road. If you are a train enthusiast, or just love history; this is the place to see. Trains represent progress, and they were a vital lifeline to many people then and now. The nostalgia is represented in the shops, and little souvenirs that you can take with you. I love seeing the excitement of people when they see the trains in action. The sights, sounds, and smell of the trains is something for sure!

45 minute ride through Amish Country. My sister and I just got to Lancaster had a little time before check in at the red caboose and decided to do the last trip of the day which was 3 pm . Had to be there by 2:30 we made it ! We took the open air car off of the recommendations of reviews I read . So glad I did. The cool breeze, and being able to take pictures so easily . Plus, you could walk to the end of the train outside and watch how everything works. Kids really loved this area. I think this was the perfect start for a vacation . So relaxing also after a 2 1/2 hour drive from DC. I think if I would’ve spent a day or two driving around Amish country and then did that it might have been a little boring . Highly recommend for families. Or anyone that’s just starting out their vacation in Amish country.

I recently visited The Strasburg Rail Road and had a great experience! Even before arriving, I called the customer service line and received answers to my questions and insight into what to expect. The website has tons of great information as well. We visited to take in the fall foliage and Lancaster County farm scenery. The weather was perfect, and the train ride was excellent -- with luxurious comfort seating (premium cars). They even offer drinks and snacks on the ride (45 minutes). There was a senior in my group who needed a lift onto and off the train -- they had it covered (you must let them know when you arrive). I visited during October and the entire area was well decorated for the Fall and Halloween. I didn't have time to visit the shops and 1832 restaurant -- but I'm sure they provided great offerings as well. The staff (at the ticket booth, the operator of the lift for the train, the snack staff onboard, and the conductors) were professional, friendly, outstanding, and accommodating. Thank you to the entire Strasburg Rail Road Team! Truly a wonderful visit and we will be back again!

We got tickets for 11 am trip, in upgraded section with plush swivel chairs (First class lounge). Snacks and drives available, but we didn't need for the 45 min trip. The car was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Station has cafe, shipped and entertainment. History was clear with steam engines and museum next door. Fun family excursion!

This place is amazing!! It's like traveling back in time when you ride on the train. It's very well preserved, the seats are comfortable, the train cars are clean and the staff is very friendly. It is such a great place to visit with family/friends, and little kids have a great time. They have plenty of fun activities and you can buy tickets online or at the station. I recommend checking out the website for days and times availability, and try to get there early because they are very punctual with the the departures. I only wish the ride would be longer, but it is a great experience at a very good price.

We took our son and daughter to ride the train. It was really an awesome experience! The kids loved it! We rode in the first class car Marian 88. It was beautifully restored. We were comfortable the whole ride. We definitely recommend it to others. We plan to come back and explore more of what they have an offer.

"A Day with Thomas" at Strasburg Railroad was a huge success. I recommend arriving early as you'll have access to the parking lot & closer parking. It gets busy, but it didn't seem crowded. The lines to activities & areas involving pictures were not long. The staff was all very friendly & knowledgeable of the trains & history. The train ride was beautiful & peaceful; nothing like a ride through the fields of Lancaster County.

I never did the train ride before after many years of visiting Lancaster area. It was definitely something u should do if you have children. My daughter and nieces loved it as well as my sisters and I

I’ve been to the Strasburg Rail Rd., many times over the years. It is the it is the oldest continuous running short line in America. The trains are spectacular. The people that take care of the trains and the customer service is phenomenal. I’ve loved Trains since I was a child, this is a fun filled family place check out the videos that I have some or a little bit short because you can only do 30 second clips on this platform. I can’t wait to go again before winter time. Tickets $16 for kids 2-11 $24 for adults so many more packages they have and events, check out the website for details.

We had the best time here! We did the Christmas train ride with our own private car- the President’s car. Highly recommend! It’s stunning! It was fun to have snacks and a visit from Santa! It was romantic and memorable!

This is a great experience for anyone of any age. It was awesome seeing the trains that are over 100 years old come down the tracks with smoke coming out from the stack. The carts have working coal stoves inside the cart itself to keep you warm. Everyone who works there is super polite and very helpful. I loved seeing the people in character, it takes you back to a much simpler time and place. There's also a small ride on locomotive for the kids and crank cars that are also alot of fun! Food prices are a little high as with any place nowadays. Right across the street from the train station is the train museum and it is awesome! If you're i to trains you'll want to visit there. Affordable price as well. $10 a person. Enjoy!

I love movies featuring historic trains, but this might be the first time I've ridden one in real life - I'm totally obsessed! This is inspired me to start seeking out other historic railroads. The 45 minute ride was educational with gorgeous view of the Lancaster County countryside, and the train cars are both comfy and beautiful. Even sitting on the shady benches waiting for the train was part of the magical experience.

Today we visited the Strasburg Railroad in Strasburg PA to take a train ride and to Santa!!! This was a surprise trip for the our 3 youngest ones. If you are planning a visit to Lancaster County PA Strasburg Railroad is a must visit. The train ride is about 45 minutes and takes you through scenic farm land. This ride included a visit with Santa and Mrs Clause (Mrs Clause was in one of the shops and not on the train ride but included with the tickets). Carolers and a brass band. My boys loved every minute of it and were smiling from ear to ear.

We had a wonderful time here. We got here an hour before our boarding time. We cam specifically for a ride with the beautiful 611. The people here were great. There was lots of enthusiasm from ever person that worked there. They termed it a dream job. The workers on the platform were very helpful and happy! We watched the second steam train come in and out. It was really neat to see. When our time came, we boarded the “ Presidential Car”! It was a Pullman Car made in our home town of Butler, Pennsylvania. The original car was absolutely gorgeous. It was built for a wealthy Philadelphia businessman. The woodworking was exquisite. It was broken down into about 5 or 6 compartments. We were able to sit in one of the smaller compartments with just enough room for two people. I can describe just how nice this suite was. We were served wine and a snack. The conductor came through checking tickets. There were so many people taking pictures of this streamlined gem of a steam train. The ride was really enjoyable. At every passing there were so many people stopped and watching the train roll by. The ride was about an hour long up the line and back. We felt we went back in time for the entire trip. Even the music they placed was from back generations ago. The 611 probably won’t be there long, but if you get a chance even to ride with the regular coal burner, go for it. You won’t regret it!

I went with my Uncle to ride the 611 before it left, the entry is free, but the train ride cost $40 per ticket - which was utterly worth the ride. This place is wonderful! I'll be returning to ride another one. The additional things this place has and the other local things that kids can do is wonderful. The gift shop, the toys-only gift shop, and the photo options and restaurant are all great additions. This place was wonderful to visit after a 3 1/2 hour drive!

I think I was about 12 when my parents first brought my sister and me to ride the train. Now we have a 12 year old grandchild! The station village is prettier than ever, the staff is helpful and goes the extra mile. This time we enjoyed our trip in one of the lounge cars. Beautiful!

A gorgeous ride, through the countryside! We chose the open air car, which I highly recommend. The train was in pristine condition, and the atmosphere, both on the train and at the station, was a lot of fun. The ride was about 15 min, in length, each way. Our favorite part of the ride was traveling through Cherry Crest Adventure Farm and exchanging waves with everyone there. Cherry Crest Adventure Farm is an incredible place, by the way, but I’ll save that for another review. ;) The only part of the train ride that disappointed my family was that the photographer aboard chose to take our family’s picture, in the town of Paradise, which is anything but picturesque. We didn’t purchase the picture because the background was awful. If the photograph had been taken in Strasburg instead, with the station as the background, or in the countryside, we would have purchased it. But, this is a minor detail, and doesn’t affect the fact that we thoroughly enjoyed the ride!

Great ride! Wonderful tour of the local countryside. Coach car was very comfortable. Looks like they have toilets on board. The coal stoves in each car work VERY WELL, according to the conductor, so winter rides should be a treat!

Was super excited to try Strasburg. It had been on my must do list for some time. The train was quite nice. We were in a first class parlor car 88 which was not open air and had refreshment service as well as snacks. That was enjoyable. What I didn't like was I couldn't hear what the announcer was saying at all. The narrated tour was not heard. Unless you were seated right in the middle of the car it was impossible to hear. Also the ride isn't actually 45 minutes. You are on the train that long but there are times you are stopped. I guess that's protocol. It was enjoyable but not what I expected. On a side note if you have young children you may want to choose another car other than this one such as the open air. Parents of children in this car on that day were opening the windows for their children. Not a good idea and it hinders the enjoyment of the other guests on board.

The steam train is awesome, the playground is also awesome for kids. It was a great day for my grandson,wife and I. We went on a Friday and that was a good time to go. The toy store is packed with good things. I highly recommend this to any family.

We had an absolutely lovely time at Strassburg! A group of us went for the lunch train ride and had a wonderful time. The food was great, hot, and ready as soon as we boarded. The ride itself was a lot of fun with beautiful scenery and great information! The staff were just excellent and made sure we were well taken care of. It is such a great place to go to and I highly recommend anybody who has an interest in trains to go embark on this wonderful experience to all the staff for such a wonderful time and I Hope to return one day soon!

Strasburg RAIL ROAD RIDE - Diner car $$ = about 50.00 I recommend skipping and go general admission I had an excellent experience on the RR ride. It goes very slow so you get your 9 miles worth for the price as the views are very cool. What makes the trip worth it was the inside of the train, like you stepped back in time. Everything looks very authentic. I paid for food service which was good; the attendant was dutiful and friendly. For the 20.00 additional, I got a wrap, chips and cookie. You had to buy soda and beverages extra which I didn't like for the lunch price. When I go again, I will just take the regular car - no food. I found eating distracted from taking in the sites and the ride, not to mention I want to try the station cafe. I recommend bringing bottled soda or water with you.

This was a awesome experience to go on the train ride. Not only my kids was excited but me and my husband too. Its a quick ride but its all about the history how it was working before, what was around this route. Its like you experience the ride like in the movie Polar Express. Defenetly recomend this place for kids and adults.

I was on of 4 who spent a Monday at the Strasburg railroad. We had reservations for the shop tour and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our tour guide, Aaron actually works in the shop. He was so knowledgeable and happy to answer the many questions we had. Get tour tickets for this ahead of your trip ..it is worth it. Train ride was pleasant and had a great of the beautiful amish farmland. Just the sound of a steam engine is cool.

We took our parents and grandchildren to the Santa's Paradise Express last Saturday and had an awesome experience and made great memories. Plenty of parking. The only downside was not enough handicapped parking. It was a walk. We arrived about 45 minutes before our departure like they suggested. This gave us ample time to check in, look around and grab some hot cocoa and a snack at the café. The train ride was a great experience with carolers, and Santa while enjoying the beautiful views around Lancaster. The granddaughters enjoyed themselves. When we were done we had time to get our photos and look around some more. Great memories were made! Thank you! Definitely worth the trip!

Perfectly well preserved and well taken care train and station. There are different tickets you can buy but we bought the regular coach. It was a good experience and the train took us thru rural fields and good scenery. There are other activities but was closed when we were there.

We enjoyed the “Twas The Night Before Christmas” train ride the weekend before Christmas! The train decorations were beautiful and the atmosphere cozy! Buy your tickets ahead of time to secure a ride! I give it 4 stars because it was not very clear that you needed an upgraded ticket to get. Hot cocoa with you cookies instead of milk and the order/ series of events on the train ride we’re not made clear so some times we were not sure what was going to happen. But overall a sweet Christmas experience!!

This is the best railroad ever. We always go every month and that will continue for ever. Thank you crew for riding your beautiful trains. We rode all three trains and expecting to ride them even more. Keep up this great work. Recommended to always go here.

We LOVE Sight and Sound. Can not recommend it enough. We saw DAVID last week and it was incredible. The story, the voices, the music, the props, etc.. Goliath and the other Giants were very impressive! I was in tears throughout it and truly felt Gods presence there. My sister was with me and she said it was better than a Broadway Show she saw before the pandemic began. Wow!!! I will definitely be back.

No matter if you're religious or not this place puts on a great performance. The performance is immersive and takes place all around you. The sound system is top notch. When the "lord" spoke you felt it. At the end of the performance there are staff that will pray with you if desired. There is a concession stand that you can purchase beverages and food items. There is also a small gift shop. Would definitely recommend coming here and plan to be back again.

We loooove this theatre! We drive yearly from out of state to see the new show! The plays are so powerful and moving. It really brings the Bible story to life and encourages you in your faith. The way they point out aspects of truth sticks with you for years to come! We highly recommend!!!

WE LOVE Sight and Sound! The facility is gorgeous, the workers are very friendly and the shows are heart-warming, and stupendous!! We've seen two of their annual shows and we can't wait for Daniel!! We will be back. Worth every dime!

Hands down this is one of the best theaters and faith based production companies in the world! Their stage and audio system sounds amazing and their live productions from the Bible are beyond measure, highly recommend taking your kids and family to one of their shows, you won’t regret it.

Awesome Bible story come to life right before your eyes! The actors, live animals, setting and sound tune to perfection. This was by far better than a Broadway show. Must see family event! If you have a big family it is best to bring your own snacks. Though the ones they sell are delicious, you will pay $4.99 for the roasted almonds. Masks and CDC guidelines are not enforced. Few ppl wore mask but the majority did not. You will get the most of this PA trip if you check in and make it a weekend trip. You will enjoy, and not have to rush through ALL the Amish goods vegetables, food and local antique shops. Recommend and will return.

The Sight and Sound theater does not need me to review them. They have been entertaining people for almost 50 years and they are amazingly good at it! Everyone knows this, but I’m still doing a review for someone who might be a first-timer on the fence about going like I was. Definitely go! It’s worth the money, the drive, and the small wait for parking. The building is beautiful and when you walk in the smell of the delicious roasted almonds hits you immediately. Beyond that, the actors, sets, scenery, music, animal actors…everything…is amazing. The visual imagery of the sets captured me. The story and music kept me captivated, and the way they made it not about the actors, but about Jesus was fantastic. I highly recommend this experience for everyone!

100 percent recommended! Must see for anyone, particularly if you are Christian. Hard to describe how enjoyable the show was, fantastic talent and atmosphere! The entire surroundings were captivating and meticulously maintained. Truly a mission of love. Don't miss out, give it a spin!

This was one of the most insane things I have ever experienced. It was so amazing. The staff are all so dedicated to their work and the mission. The performance was outstanding. It went way beyond my expectations. The facilities themselves are beautiful and so well kept. 100% recommended taking a trip here

This is a family tradition. We come every Easter. It brings the Bible to life for me and my family. The kids LOVE the shows and stay engaged. Especially the live animals. Sight & Sound makes memories that will last a lifetime. Staff has always been nice. Roasted almonds are yummy. We are going to the Christmas show for the first time this winter, can’t wait!

My first time here was the beginning of July with my church family to see Moses. I had a great time! It’s a beautiful location and I really enjoyed myself. Tickets are around $80-90 but you get to see a great show. I was so impressed by the singing, the set changes, the special effects, and the cast’s ability to sometimes play multiple roles. I love the live animals! It adds such a unique aspect. They stuck very closely to the Biblical story and I really appreciated that in addition to the altar call at the end. The food and gift store is pricey, but the almonds are very good. Overall I would highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!

I highly recommend an outing to Sight and Sound. Every production I’ve ever seen has been phenomenal. The 180° of stage is pretty amazing, it’s as though you are a part of the show. The live animals, the quality of the sets, the production, the scripts are always first rate.

One the best theaters I have been to. The outside is majestic and beautiful with the holiday decor in December, many photo opportunities. The inside is just as stunning and so clean and spacious! The live animals in the play,the thoughtfulness and detail to staying on schedule, seating arrangement, the ushers. All absolutely top notch & professional! The gift shop and concession stand(s) have so many options and not at all over priced!! Every single staff member is so kind, ready with a smile, to help you with a question or concern. The bathrooms never had a line, always extremely clean. This was such a magical memory to be made. I can't wait to go back!!

Spectacular performance!! What a blessing to have the stories of the Bible come to life. My family and I have been coming for years, but this year’s production of Daniel really was timely! Highly recommend!! Don’t forget to get their famous glazed almonds!!

Sight & Sound Theater is an astounding playhouse that has the most phenomenal staging, actors, music and themes for all audiences. It is truly an experience beyond traditional productions. The actors, live animals, scenery, costumes and music are at the highest level of detail and immerse the audience in a unique theater encounter. An added bonus is the opportunity to individually pray with a team member after the performance. Today's visit was a retirees group bus excursion. I thoroughly enjoy the Biblical themed shows and will continue to come to Sight & Sound Theater.

A Five stars review all the way!!! This is one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had in my life. A top notch production. Sight & Sound truly brings the Bible to life! Words cannot explain what it means to see the story of David and Goliath manifest before my eyes and the other Giants were very impressive! oh man the voices, the music, the props, I was lost for words. I was in tears throughout it and I truly felt the presence of the Holy Spirit there as I sat there amazed the entire time! Don't forget the snow and the praise and worship of the actors to the animals even the theatrical lights are just amazing! Can’t forget the roasted almonds!

Very magical place. Took a bus trip to see " Moses." Very organized staff from parking, tickets, and concessions. There are many options for seating selections. Also, the ride through Lancaster Pennsylvania is a plus.

What a great experience!! Was there with my family on June 30th. It was well worth the drive from Toronto Canada. The theatre is so wonderfully designed and built there isn't a single seat with obstructed view. The show was amazing in every way; the props, the music, the performers.. We were in awe of the amount of effort out into it and the attention to the little details.. would definitely visit again. God bless.

09/30/2023-I visited the Sight and Sound Theater in Lancaster, PA for the first time with St.Phillips Baptist church as a guest! Our bus was fabulous! The trip was great up from Maryland. The ride was easy, comfortable snd smooth! This theater is beautiful. We saw the production of “Moses”. No cameras or video were allowed once seated in the theater. We sat entrance BB. Great seats! The live sheep, horses, and Llama were spectacular! The singing(vocals), actors and actresses both kids and adults were amazing! I want to bring my family back to see this production. WOW!!!!Me and the Sassy Soulful Sisters2 had a great day/a great time.

We were able to get tickets for the Christmas show “Miracle of Christmas,” the day before by calling the box office for a show showing sold out online for weeks. It was absolutely incredible. Highly recommend and bring tissues! Bring some tissues as there are touching moments where you will wish you had them. The immersion of the actors and sets was phenomenal. It gives the real idea that you are there. No matter what seat you buy. We look forward to many more live productions at this location and the one in Bronson, MO. They also do have concessions and a descent gift shop. The restrooms were exceptionally clean.

Beautiful Architecture Is What Makes This Theatre Absolutely Gorgeous. The stage sets so colorful, engaging, and stunningly spectacular. The animals that are incorporated within the performance are so well trained, and wonderfully kept in terms of cleanliness and grooming, they flow so naturally within the creative theme, it is inspiring to experience. Definitely a 🌟🌟🌟🌟 professional two-and-a-half (including 20-minute intermission) production.

Went to see Daniel. Such an amazing performance 👏🏾 🙌🏿. Very encouraging. The animals were so well trained. The actors were so believable like I was really their. The stage crew did such an amazing job transforming from scene to scene. Everything was so professional. There are some scenes where the crew and animals may be in the isle so re-entry may be paused until floors are clear very understandable. The salad 🥗 from the concession stand was so good I couldn't stop eating. And they have icee🥤and I was able to mix cherry and Raspberry 😋my fav💜.

WHAT AN EXPERIENCE Everyone must attend at least once in their life! My boyfriend took me for our 1 year to see Daniel. We had seats up front on the right end of the aisle. That way the animals walked right past us!! The facility is gorgeous and everyone is very nice. The almonds were DELICIOUS. We regret not getting some for home. Don’t pass this up!

The theatre, the lights, the live action animals all brought the story to life! The presence of God was felt so strongly there! It’s a 10/10 and I’d recommend going if you desire to see your favorite Bible story brought to life! The staff were extremely kind and helpful. And made my first time there a day to remember!

I have watched many of the plays online but it’s a totally different thing to see it in person. A group from our church went to see Daniel a week ago, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The show was wonderfully done, the props and the stage setup was awesome, the songs were amazing, and the actors played their parts very well. I love how they include the gospel at the end of their shows and tie it in with the story. If you are debating on coming to see Daniel in person, I hope this review is enough to convince you. It’s worth the money and the drive. It truly is something worth seeing!!

I wished the show would never end. These young actors did an awesome job depicting the birth of the Son of God...all while injecting some humor and other feelings into the play. I was almost moved to tears by some scenes, and for me to say that, it had to be an awesome show. Well done guys and gals. We will return!

My family and I went to see Daniel, which was absolutely amazing! The acting, the scene changes, the songs, and the environment are extraordinary. 7 of us went, 6 adults and 1 child. We had front row seats, which made it seem like they were acting just for you. We can't wait til next year to see "Noah".

What a beautiful experience! Such lovely stories told in a wonderful broadway musical sort of way. The actors/singers did such a great job making us feel all kinds of emotions. The theatrical show itself was well done, very professional. The fact that real animals were used in the live play was total awesome. They serve candy, glazed almonds, hot dogs, nachos, and variety of hot or cold drinks. Decent prices, what you’d expect at any other play. Such a great place to come visit with a group of friends or family. Perfectly located in Lancaster, PA. We enjoyed the show so much we’re planning a trip for next year!

Saw the Daniel premeire today. It was one of the best shows I have ever seen. They are at a "next level" when it comes to theater. So glad we flew up here to watch this. Worth every dime. This company honors God through the excellence they show in their craft while telling stories of the Bible.

Must Go!!! One of a kind experience where the Bible comes to life on stage with real animals, spectacular special effects, & a true testimony to its audiences. Top notch entertainment, exceptional staff, and a beautifully designed theater are experienced every time. And their signature glazed almonds are delicious! I have been to Sight & Sound many times over the past 30 years & have seen each & every show. Can't say enough good about this Lancaster attraction, you won't be disappointed!!

This place is AMAZING! Imagine broadway, but Bible based. It’s phenomenal and attracts an insane crowd. From the glazed almonds and picturesque buildings to the heartfelt acting and live animals, Sight and Sound does it all. I’ve grown up coming here and would recommend it to anyone. I love how they take each Bible story and bring it to life.

What a blast! Our family of 4 recently went to Knoebels for the first time and it was awesome! We stayed for 7 hours and our kids who are 6 & 4 weren't ready to leave! The park was very clean and the walk ability was great! The staff was also very friendly! There were so many rides for our children and even though they are on the shorter side, there was a perfect kid zone for little ones under 54 inches tall! My daughter, who is only 36 inches tall was even able to ride a kiddie coaster and she loved it! The food was delicious and priced well for a theme park too! The only thing I noticed was there weren't a lot of water fountains which would have been nice, but we loved how flexible the pricing was as well! You could buy a wrist band for a full day of rides or a booklet of tickets! We bought $150 worth of tickets and it lasted all day for a family of 4! Great theme park, especially for younger children!

Absolutely lovely place. We were staying at the campground and it was nice to just walk into the park. I loved the atmosphere and the pay per ride system. If you don't do any rides you don't have to spend a single penny for them ! Their wooden coasters where unbelievably fun and very well maintained. The food options were great and they have some unique snacks as well. Very affordable and overall a very pleasant place to visit. I highly recommend for the rides, the food and the overall atmosphere of the place !

Always a fun time and a great experience if you don't want to go on rides - it's free to enter and you pay as you ride. Their Halloween decorations are top notch! Best way to do it is a summer weekday before Memorial Day, once in October, and the Christmas decor drive in December.

Great time at "Joy through the Grove" First year coming to this and it was very impressive to say the least. My initial thought was it was going to be a short trip through the park but, that was not the case. You start out in the normal parking area where they have three lanes which made for less of a wait. When you pull up to pay they offer some snack options and give you the radio station which plays Christmas music. You start out in the park in self and then go up into the campground area where you weave through the roads there. Many different themes in the different areas. The Staff really did an impressive job of decorating! I am an adult and it was fun so imagine the thrill on little kids seeing all of the lights. For the amount of time it took to travel through the display I think the $25.00 was more than reasonable. I would definitely go back in the future to see this great display of Christmas lights.

Everyone loves Knoebels and for good reason! The park is oozing with nostalgia and good eats while not being short on thrilling rides and incredible fun! A yearly spot that I will be attending for generations to come!

Was recently back in Pennsylvania visiting and went to Knoebels for the first time in years - just as great as I remember it! Love all of the rides, that admission is still free, and that you can bring your own food into the park! It is beautifully placed and love that you are riding rides while surrounded by mountains. Gorgeous! Such a great and nostalgic park. Can't wait to visit again!

This park is well known and loved in the coaster enthusiast community, but I really had no idea just how much I would love this place. Nestled in the mountains in the middle of PA, it draws people from all over. I went on a rainy Sunday recently, when every other amusement park within a 6 hour drive was closed, Knoebels stayed open and operated almost all of their rides. The staff was super friendly and contributed to the wonderful atmosphere. I cannot recommend this park enough; it truly is a destination park. The rides are all very well maintained and operated. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I could go on forever, but mostly I’d say I can’t wait to go back, and that’s about the best compliment one could want. I’ve been telling lots of people about the great time I had as well. This isn’t a stop on your way to somewhere else, this should be your target destination.

Our visitors from Colorado, our "adopted" grandchildren, LOVE Knoebel's!!! When they are in town, we always include a trip to this Wonderful amusement park. The park is relatively inexpensive, with delicious food, great ice cream and a pretty good selection of adult and children's rides. Their wooden roller coasters are highly rated in the United States. Children also enjoy performing in a play each time we visit. I highly recommend that you spend a day or two here!

Super fun place. Excellent environment for the family. Excellent pricing and plenty of things to do. Parking is no trouble even if special exceptions are required. Moderately priced and food is excellent. Great place to make memories, offers camping, company picnics.

Knoebels is always so much fun. Their pricing is reasonable on the rides and for food. It is free to enter and you pay per ride. You can get a thing of tickets, which never expire, or pay for a wristband. They did a great job of decorating it for Halloween as well. So many fun skeletons all around the park! You may habe to wait in line but they do have an app that is fairly accurate with wait times. Definitely recommend going.

Awesome old fashion park like I remember as a kid. Lots of old school rides and some new thrill rides. Food is awesome and they always win awards. Very clean and well maintained park. Worth driving up there and your sure to have a great time. Free to park and free to enter. Pet friendly also. A great day out.

First time coming here and I had a great time, I really like that you just pay for the rides you go on and don't drop hundreds of dollars on admission just to stand in line for hours. The lines move pretty quick and there's tons of food and things to do. I really like this park.

I mean this is the best old school amusement park in the world. They have rides here that you can't find anywhere. The admission is free and you can pay per ride or get a wrist band great system.

This place is a great options for families who don't plan to ride every ride. It's free admission and you purchase a book of tickets to use for the rides that you want! Or you can purchase an all day ride wrist band as well! If you purchase online before you go, you can save $5. Prices are reasonable here, overall clean! My family had a great time!

Visited from out of the State, during the 4th of July Long Weekend, loved the free admission, pay as you go option which allows the parents of the kids/minors to admit for free when they don't want to go on the rides. Options available as $5, $20 and $50 tickets. We got the $20 tickets which were good for about 7 rides, however, it depends on which kind of ride one opts for as rides range from different prices of $4.50 - $2 each. Rode the Downdraft (don't remember the price), Twister and Phoenix Roller coasters for $4.50, Giant wheel for $3.50, Swing for $3, Carousel 🎠 for $2. Many Rides available for kids and adults alike. Overall a fun experience, Busy on the weekends but still there was little to no wait time. Plenty of food options available from Starbucks, Popcorn, Lemonade, Snacks and many more. Vending machines for water and soda were available too. Plenty of space for parking, saw a picnic table area that is available on reservation/first come basis. Camping grounds available as well.

I used to go here with my family as a kid and always loved it. I finally went back as an adult more than 15 years later and it's still great and really hasn't changed much from how I remember it. It has such a nostalgic feel regardless of if you've been there before or not. It's awesome that there's free admission and free parking. You can buy either a day pass or a ticket booklet. The day passes are probably better for families or people with kids going on a lot of rides but the booklet got us paid for all the roller coasters we wanted to go on plus a few others like the log flumes and ferris wheel with a few dollars in tickets left over by the time we were ready to leave. There are lots of places in the park to eat with a large variety of kinds of foods to choose from. There are a few different historical museums within the park including one about coal mining and one about the carousel. I love that there are things for both kids and adults to enjoy.

Fun park was fun and had rides that are fun for all family members. From roller coasters to log flume rides and even a haunted house. No admission to get in and no parking fee either. You can buy tickets or an unlimited wrist band. Park also had many unique and local food choices which also was a nice treat. Park was clean and staff was friendly. We will be back sooner then later

Had such a fun time here! Wait times were low, my whole family had a ton of fun. I personally like how you just have to pay for tickets, not entry. A little challenging with the traffic flow (some people have no idea what they’re doing) but overall an enjoyable experience for all ages!

It was great! The food was delicious as always and the staff was very friendly. I used a wristband, a fantastic deal for anyone who loves to go on lots of rides. So many ride options for whatever your preference is, and plenty of thrill coasters. I really enjoyed the ski lift, there was a great view of the park and it was very relaxing.

Best time every time we go. It is my family’s go to place every year. My kids started going when they were babies and we are still going no when they are in their twenties. My one daughter even had her Sweet 16 party there.

Knoebels has been THE amusement park to go to ever since I was just a little kid. For over 40 years, we have enjoyed going there. The rides are lots of fun, with the best wooden rollercoasters in the United States, and plenty of other rides to satisfy most every thrill-seeker. They offer almost every kind of park food you could want, with full course meals offered at the Alamo, or funnel cake, candy apples, cotton candy, soft pretzels, French fries, Italian ice, and so much more to satisfy your desire for something quick. And of course the Haunted House is a must-see ride, with one of the best haunted houses around! Every year Knoebels does an amazing job with decorating the park for Halloween. If you want to have a fun time seeing Halloween decorations, then plan on visiting in October, when the Old Smokey-style train ride takes you back into the woods to see lots of decorations on skeletons with crazy antics! My only complaint, and it seems to be more of a nationwide issue rather than any fault of Knoebels per se, is that the crowds are getting worse and worse, and...how do I say this politically correct... the ... clientele seems to be getting more... rough. The atmosphere has always been one of a clean, fun family environment, with most people being polite, and happy to be there. My last few visits, however, to be quite honest, resembled more of an "inner city" vibe, with gang elements showing through. The crowds were far more rude, boisterous, and a lot of trash seemed to be scattered on the ground. It no longer felt like a fun little family park, it honestly felt like visiting an inner-city park. I suppose that is no fault of Knoebels. However, my last visit there, they scheduled a company picnic by Giant, with an expected turnout of 70,000 employees, during normal park hours. The chaos that ensued was beyond anything I've ever experienced there. The bathrooms were absolutely overloaded, with women going into the men's rooms, not even caring that there were men inside (and I'm not even talking about identity issues - just simply women who didnt care that there were men in there, they just went in "because i feel like it"). The crowds were rude beyond comprehension, cutting into ride lines, loud profanities being exclaimed, completely changing the overall feel of a nice family fun park to an absolute atmosphere of pandemonium. I have to say that my last several visits have not been enjoyable ones, and if this same atmosphere continues, sadly we will have to bid adieu to this amusement park, and live with the memories of how things used to be.

Went for years with the kids and friends and family. Brought my best friend here before she passed, we made it a ladies trip only and she had the best time of her life... her signature is on one of the covered bridges. Went back a few more times w/just adults and it is always a fun, relaxing, calming place to be... Very Family oriented, reasonable pricing, clean, staff is always wonderful, food is good... Been a few years now since I've been back. Hoping to go in July 2024.

I absolutely enjoyed this park. First time going, although it rained a bit, then stopped. The show and rides were still going on. The staff were very helpful and amazing. Lots of rides and entertainment for all ages!

Knoebels is always a wonderful experience! I was most recently there for Joy Through the Grove, the drive through Christmas light show. A very fun and festive show, full of lights and music. Get there when they open at 5:30 p.m. for a shorter wait, grab snacks and enjoy driving through the park.

This was the best vacation I’ve had in a long time. So much to do in Hershey and I didn’t get to do it all but we still had a good time. We went to Hershey park and to chocolate world. Hershey park was really not expensive for the tickets. The food and amenities were expensive but it is an amusement park so that’s to be expected obviously. Altogether we had a great time. We went to the zoo which was by far one of the best and most intimate experiences I’ve had in a zoo. I wanted to go to Amish country but didn’t get the chance. I would recommend everyone to go at least once in their lifetimes because you get to see the history of how everything was made and created. I don’t think I will go again with the kids because we have already seen everything and not much changes up there however, I will take my wife back just to see Amish country. There are more adult things to do there and ways to enjoy yourself. I’ll be posting that review as soon as I’m able to get back up there.

This is one of the best amusement parks I have ever been to. We had so much fun, it's full of roller-coasters and after a whole day there we weren't able to ride them all (started to rain heavily). Also they have nice stores and great food options. And we really didn't have to wait that long to ride every time. I extremely recommend going there, and would definitely come back again.

What an awesome place! The weather was PERFECT! Being that I'm from Louisiana and have been experiencing Temps of over 100 degrees, the breezy and sunny weather here was welcoming! The park was very clean and wasn't overcrowded. The food was pretty good but the main favorite of my family was the thrilling roller coasters! If you're a thrill seeker, this place is for you! They have some really cool roller coaster rides! My teenage kids had so much fun riding all of the rides and even went to the Waterpark area and had a blast there too! The lines weren't too long and the entire trip was very pleasant. We will definitely be returning!

Fun for the whole family. My wife enjoyed the park even though she is 6 months pregnant because of zoo and water animal show. My kids loved the whole experience. Only down side many attractions were closed due to our late in the season visit. We did love all of the Halloween festivities though.

This was my first time visiting for the holiday season. It was very pretty but overally crowded in some of the attractions. We weren't able to see everything they had to offer because they closed so early, even on a Friday. Chocolate World was closed as well, and so we're most of the rides. It was a nice experience but I wouldn't come back during the holidays. I feel like it was too expensive for what it was.

Visited Hershey on a weekend! The place was not too crowded and was fun filled. We did the chocolate world tour, make your own candy bar. My son loved both the attractions and found it pretty enjoyable. The attractions are a little expensive however worth it. Overall the place is expensive for food and souvenirs. But truly a good place to visit with a family and kids.

Great park. I just wish the lines weren't always so painfully slow moving at every ride. The parks operations aren't the best really and there's a lot of little kids and elderly crowds. It's a great family park / thrill park but be prepared to wait in some very long lines as the ride crews don't hustle to send out trains.

This is a really nice park that our family really enjoyed visiting. The park seemed really clean and well staffed. We enjoyed the preview night the two hours before our first night. We rented a cabana for our water park day and it was great. They had their own bathrooms and exclusive grill. We got free soft drinks. The staff for the cabanas would make want to do the cabanas again just for them.

We had so much fun yesterday at Hershey Park. We are a family of four. We have a teenager and a toddler. My husband is a roller coaster enthusiast and I am a little less of an enthusiast. We visit every amusement we can. Some are better suited to adults and some to children. It's great when it's well balanced and Hershey Park is!! I wish there was more chocolate. LoL but seriously I was SO in the mood for chocolate fountains ! Loved the refill cups and cashless system. The lines were not bad at all especially for the first half of the day! The app was very helpful except my husband had it too they read wait times differently. For example : mine said 30 min wait and his said 15 minute wait for the same ride. All in all, great time!! See the sea animal show, it's adorable.

The happiest place on earth. What a fantastic place to spend your vacation. The rides are very fun and the lines are long but everybody expects that. Very clean park. The food is delicious. Prices are sky high just like the rides. But who doesn't want to dance with chocolate characters and create their own Hershey Bar at the Hershey Chocolate factory? Dream come true ❤️ Absolutely a must place to visit as a kid and an adult 👌.

We had an absolutely delightful experience at Hersheypark. The park offers rides for all ages at a reasonable price. We spent the entire day at the park, from opening to closing, and there was an abundance of activities to keep us entertained. The park is well-maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful. The park’s cleanliness and attention to detail are commendable. We highly recommend Hersheypark to families looking for a fun and memorable day out. Upon entering the park, we were greeted by a friendly staff member who provided us with a map and answered all our questions. The park is well-organized, and the map was easy to follow. We started our day with the Cocoa Cruiser, a family-friendly roller coaster that was a great way to ease into the day. We then moved on to the Laff Trakk, an indoor spinning coaster that was a lot of fun. The Wild Mouse was another highlight, with its sharp turns and sudden drops. We also enjoyed the Ferris Wheel, which provided a great view of the park. The park has a variety of food options, from snacks to full meals. We enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Chickie’s & Pete’s stand, which offered a variety of seafood and other options. The park also has plenty of restrooms, which were clean and well-maintained. Overall, we had a fantastic time at Hersheypark. The park offers something for everyone, and we can’t wait to go back!

What a great day! So many fun thrill seeking rollercoaster but Wildcat was our favorite! Clean amusement park with lots of bathrooms and food options.

Ended up coming here after my daughter's cheer competition, and all I have to say is WOW! We had an amazing time there and this was the first amusement park my kids have been too. I wish we had more time to explore more and ride more of the rides 😪 😩. But we will definitely be making a personal trip back sometime this summer!

It's a nice place to be with kids as with any other amusement park. The tickets are not that expensive but probably they need more staff the manage the crowd. Few rides were not working and sometimes even the vending machines and food services kiosks were too slow. Ultimately, we had fun but could have been better. You need at least 3 days to cover all rides and attractions.

We went on a Sunday in April, the weather was absolutely perfect! Don't love the layout of this park as it is very hard to navigate efficiently. Having said that they do have very good markers pointing everywhere you look so if you know where you want to go it's pretty easy to find it. It was a pretty busy day but we kept an eye on wait times in the app and we ended with our longest wait time being 45 minutes! We caught several rides right after they had been down for some reason or other. The rides themselves are some of the best I've been on!!! So smooth and no headache makers!! Another amazing thing was how allergy friendly the park was!!! The app listed ALL ingredients AND labeled things for several allergy categories. They even had a gluten friendly area/line in Thier food court. WOW!!! Way to go, this was absolutely amazing!!! And the prices for food weren't outrageous!? What more could you ask for, this was so much fun and wish we lived close by so we could enjoy it more often!!

We brought our children and grandchildren (total of 8 people) here for our first visit. Handicap parking was close to the entrance. I obtained an ADA access booklet from guest services to allow easier ride entrance for rides I wanted to go on. The staff makes the process pretty easy and they were all very helpful. There were a lot of school trips visiting the day we went but it still wasn't overly crowded. The most popular rides had a longer wait, as expected. We did not visit the water area while we visited the park. Of course, the food is expensive but they do offer an all day dining option. We did purchase the cups with free refills and we were glad we did. There are refill stations all over the park. The park was very clean and all of the staff we interacted with were polite and knowledgeable. Overall, everyone had a great time and we will definitely visit again.

Service was good and rides were great. In order to get the full experience, you should spend at least a day at the park. I recommend you bring a bottle of water with you since this is a very large park. Kids will enjoy this and the Boardwalk in my opinion is the highlight of this place. Tidal Force was the best water-themed ride. The food wasn’t that great. It’s best to buy these tickets when they’re online or on a deal. Overall, it’s a good place to visit this summer.

Loved my time at Hersheypark. Even though I don’t particularly like roller coasters, I was able to enjoy smaller rides with my niece while the rest of the family enjoyed the big ones. Staff are friendly and helpful to guests. And there is plenty of places to just sit and take in the family friendly environment/atmosphere. I drove from VA and I think it was worth it. Definitely a hit over old Kings Dominion.

We had another great visit to Hershey Park today! We love this park. We especially enjoy the Halloween events. There is something for everyone here - kiddie rides, family rides, roller coasters, dining, arcades, games, shopping. The lines vary from ride to ride. You have the opportunity to buy a fast track pass for an additional cost to get on the rides without waiting. We ate dinner in the park and the food was pretty good to be from a kiosk. The prices are what you would expect: expensive. All staff members were kind and helpful, the restrooms we used were clean and well stocked. The park offers water fill up stations, so bring your own refillable water bottle to save money. Overall, we had an awesome day and we can’t wait to come back!

Hersheypark is AMAZING. What else can you say. This has been on our bucket list for years and now we are finally able to scratch it off of our list. It was just an amazing experience. We can’t wait to come back again. Now we can confirm how much fun you could have. It makes you feel like a kid again.

My family went on a road trip from New Jersey to Ohio in search of an elusive national fencing title for my husband. We drove past Hershey Park on our way to Columbus and promised the kids that we would stop by on the return journey. As soon as we stepped inside the park, we ran into a friend. My kids loved the tide pool and lazy river, and the rides were top notch. On our way to the parking lot, we could hear the start of a Blink-182 concert in the attached arena.

A wonderful piece of Pennsylvania history, Hersheypark offers so much to see, to do, and to taste. Choose from a variety of tours. Eat at an onsite restaurant. Make your own candy bar. It is a must-experience place to visit!

It's cool to walk around the park even if you're not so into rollercoasters. It can get crowded at times, but it's still large enough of a park that you don't feel too confined. Wait times are not horribly long but not super short either. The park is definitely geared more towards people who like big rollercoasters.

Some of the rides were closed but the rides that were open were good. Although it was around Christmas time that we visited, still had lots of people in the lines. I suggest getting in early when the park opens to get on your favorite rides. Towards 4 PM started to see more people getting in, as they have beautiful holiday lights decorated all over the park.

Went here during a camping trip in December of 2021. They had the park decorated for Christmas. Tons of lights. Lots of activities. They had seasonal foods and drinks. Only a fraction of the rides were operational during this time of year (cold). We had a blast. We saw Saint Nick, his reindeer, beautiful displays… we took a ride on their monorail which gives you a spectacular Birds Eye view of the park. This is all happening in the evening mind you. It was a great experience and got us in the Christmas spirit big time. Dressing in layers is a must. Make sure the kiddies are bundled up. PA is quite cold in December.

Hershey Park in the wintertime is absolutely beautiful! Lights everywhere and the reindeer are adorable. The staff watching over the reindeer are very knowledgeable and happy to give any information you may need. Not all of the rides are open during the off season but you don't have to deal with the long lines of the summer.

There were more lights out, then the light display they had turned on.Do not waste your money here, go to bush gardens for a true Christmas experience. The light display was sad most of the lights were out, the shops were shutting down before five. The tree boardwalk was just one giant ad for local companies. Including the hotel room and park tickets we spent over 1,000 dollars for a sad experience. There were so many dark paths with no lights at all. The best thing about the park was zoo America.

Feels like a childhood fictional dream. Worth planning a day trip and enjoying the various attractions around the park. Plenty of food options and the attractions will cater to everyone young or old so all age groups are sure to have an amazing time. Don’t miss their exclusive range of hershey bars only available there. They also have kisses flavors from around the world. If you are eating at the food court, i highly recommend their smores.

Gorgeous trails, mildly manicured, easy to follow and near more wild trails if desired. Stunning foliage and waterfalls aplenty. Scenic areas easily accessible from each parking lot. I went from the main entrance/lower park onto the rim trail to upper park, which had the most gorgeous view of the tallest waterfall and stone paths near the end; then, back down via the gorge trail, which I think looking at the elevation maps (roughly accurate on the trailside) is the way to go (more up and down going there, then mostly down on the way back). Moderate difficulty hike. One water bottle was enough for me going light on a cool day. Chipmunks, squirrels present. Friday afternoon saw other hikers every 5-10 minutes or so.

Incredible hike on the gorge to rim trail. We arrived around 10am and was surprised with ample parking by the swimming area. Brought the kids for a strenuous hike for a 3 and 5 year old but they did it. Between 5-6miles round trip with over 900’ elevation gain, most of which is a couple clusters of 70 to 100 steps at a time or so. Certainly a challenge for most but the payoff at the large falls is worth it. Huge falls, unique rock patterns, wild flowers, rock bridges, just incredible. Highly recommend for the $9 admission (which also works at the other near by state parks) and wish we would have brought bathing suits to take a swim at the end! Side note, there is no swimming allowed on the river section, only designated area. When we finished around 1pm it was quite crowded in the parking and swimming areas in early August.

This place was beautiful! Great views and well-kept trails. Lots of steps. If you're pressed for time park at the upper gorge area and hike the 2 mile loop to Lucifer Falls , that's definitely your best views. I came at the end of November. It would be so much fun to come here in the summer and swim! Some of the other gorges in the area had sections that were fully closed through the whole winter. I was very happy this one was open.

I would wait to attend this park until after the trails are open. However, it was cool to see the snow spring meltdown today. I usually go in the summer when it is crowded. A lot of people go swimming in a water hole that has a diving board. The trails are shaded. There is definitely some elevation change, but the views are fantastic. I suggest you do not go wading in the stream off trail because my cousin and I did that, and we were COVERED IN HUNDREDS OF TINY LEECHES!!! Our fault for not following the rules. We did not get leeches in the regulated swimming hole, so that's safe.

Amazing park for one whole day. Beautiful trails (we did 3,4 km in one way and back 3,6 km). There where few spots were you can take a break near river. The Lucifer Falls are heartbreaking. In the end of our hiking we were swimming and jumping in clear, fresh and cold water). Here you can find also playground for kids, tabels for picnic, small cabins for staying few days. Highly recommend!!!

Definitely pack some good walking/hiking shoes but the trip down into the gorge is fabulous! The waterfalls are nothing short of spectacular! There were nice grassy areas for picnicking and relaxing as well near the old mill and the mill itself is an interesting place to explore.

Prior to staying at Robert Treman State Park I couldn’t find many reviews about the cabins, so I’d figured I’d post one. For about $80/night we were very impressed with our cabin! They seem updated and were very clean. Ours had 2 twin beds and a twin bunk. There was also a little desk and storage areas. There was a ceiling fan, baseboard heating, and a full size fridge/freezer. The porch included a bench as well as a broom. You also get a picnic table as well as a fire pit and a space for grilling with charcoal. For the most part the cabins are pretty spread out. They do have wagons so you can bring your belongings to the cabin (most aren’t accessible via car). We went the week after Labor Day and we were one of 3 families in the cabins, it was so nice and quiet! When you stay in the cabins you are extremely close to the rim trail and the swimming entrance. The only part we wish was a little better was with the bathrooms. You are close to a small bathroom with 2 sinks and A few toilets, but if there was already someone in there using the sink it was hard to also wash up. The bathroom with showers and a larger sink for dishes was about a 0.3. Mile walk, which isn’t a huge deal, but at night in a somewhat empty park it felt long. You can drive there as there are spots out front, and that seems to be what most people do. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The park itself is beautiful. We will be back for sure!

You can park your vehicle at either the lower entrance by the park office or the upper entrance (old mill parking area). Treman State Park, with its stunning vistas and water features, was one of my favorite visits on a fall day October 31st. Around the midpoint, there are some very steep steps (but well maintained). Lots of helpful stick-figure signage shows your progress along the way and what to expect ahead as far as ascending or descending. The gorge trail is about 2 miles (3.3km) each way. Total ascent is 724 feet (221m). Lucifer Falls is breath-taking. So glad my group went on this moderate hike.

Wonderful nature scene! Worth to visit. Best scenes are upper part of the trails. If you don't want long walk, go to the upper park lot and walk down the stairs and return along the water. Be minded: water temperature is about 65=70F in summer, kind of chill to swim.

My friend and I visited in early June. We first stopped at the lower falls, took the gorge trail up to Lucifer falls and were not disappointed. The foliage was lush from rain and the trails were very well maintained. Note that this IS a challenging 2 miles with a good amount of elevation change. The views of Lucifer falls at the end of the trail are worth the hike.

Breathtaking. We visit here every time we are in the area to take the main trail to the large falls. We do this sometimes several times a year. It never gets old and has something to offer every season. Every corner you turn takes your breath away. A lot of steps, and so consider this a moderate hike and a decent workout, especially the up climb. It is sometimes slippery, make sure you wear good footwear. Some people go off trail and even swim in the creek below the main falls in summer time. Bring your water shoes!

Did the full version of the gorge trail and rim trail loop. A more efficient version would be starting from the upper entrance, descending all the stairs of the rim trail to the bottom of the falls, then crossing the bridge to the gorge trail, and coming back to the parking lot from the gorge trail, this loop is about one mile. Then drive to the lower entrance to see the lower falls. The falls were beautiful.

Great park and amazing falls. We went there after Buttermilk fall State Park. The Lower fall is really close to the parking lot. We drive to another entrance instead of hiking. The upper entrance to the Lucifer Fall is short distance, too. Need to climb. Great view.

The waterfalls are beautiful in any session. The climb up the stairs from the gorge trail to the rim trail is challenging but worth the view during the fall. Let's keep our parks beautiful for future generations and carry out any trash you bring in and stay on the designated pathways.

Just hiked from the top parking area to the lower parking lot. Was a decent hike, but several spots were narrow for 2 way travel. Also hiked with our 3 dogs. And passed several others hiking with their pups. We had a significant amount of ticks on our pups. I hope your dogs are properly treated. 15 plus off 1 dog. There are some great views along the walk.

One of the prettiest places I have ever hiked. So many pretty waterfalls!! Definitely a strenuous trek so make sure you eat and wear proper hiking gear. A lot of stairs but not a long hike so it evens out. Wish I hadn’t forgotten my water shoes. We also saw a snake and a bunch of other animals like chipmunks and deer. The large waterfall is breathtaking and worth the stairs :). Make sure you bring water 💧.

Breathtaking so beautiful it was a good hike I started at the upper falls when I finished you end up at the parking lot of the lower falls where the swimming and cabins are but there’s really no signs or directions to tell you where to go so you can see the Lucifer falls or back to my car . So I asked a couple that I saw by the cabins. There are still falls but it’s beautiful still you can either cross the bridge back to the gorge side or continue up lots and lots of steps but we’ll worth the beautiful hike . Walking stick helps and water

Amazing park. If you don’t have too much time hiking, the best way to do is to park at the Upper Entrance. You can just do portion trails of Rim and Gorge by connecting a bridge. You can start from the Rim trail to watch the front of the Lucifer Falls, then you can take the Cliffs Staircase down. Using the Bridge to connect the Gorge Trail getting back to the parking lot. Doing the entire trails for both Rim and Gorge isn’t really much fun, as there aren’t much more to see. The beautiful parts are already in the upper side. The Lower Falls is very close from the Main Entrance which you can swim. It is better to drive from the Upper Entrance rather take the trails.

If you love waterfalls Watkins Glen State Park is the place for you. The Gorge trail is about 1.5 miles one way and follows the Glen Creek through tunnels carved into the rock, next to many waterfalls and you actually walk under two waterfalls. While there are over 800 stairs it is an easy trail because you stop so often to take in the views. Having said that the trail is definitely not handicap accessible. Use the main entrance as it gives you the best views. If you choose not to walk back there is a shuttle at the upper parking lot that will take you back to the main parking lot. Entrance to the park is free but there is a $10 parking fee. You can park on the street for two hours for free. I recommend going early in the morning to avoid the crowd which can get in the way of your pictures. Going late afternoon will give you a beautiful rainbow at Rainbow Falls as the water catches the sun.

Visited here last year with family and plan to go here many more times. You start from the top or the bottom of the loop either way is a wonderful experience. All the waterfalls and scenic views were just thrilling and picture worthy. Very well maintained park and area. It is a must item to have on any buckle list for outdoor excursions.

Stunning place to visit. Lots of trail options and most being dog friendly. Expect stairs and a fair few muddy areas so dress sensibly especially with some waterfalls spilling over and getting you wet. Some signage issues and things not so clear but overall great place to visit. Quite busy and seems to be a big tourist spot for some bus tours so expect busy and tightly packed paths

This place is spectacular. 100% reco a stop. There are a lot of stairs and it is muddy in places so wear proper shoes and consider bringing a hiking stick. The waterfalls are just amazing. There is parking just outside the park, but you can also find parking in town for free if it’s not a busy day. Dogs are only allowed on the higher trails, so suggest leaving them at home if you want to see the best parts of the gorge!

It is an amazing place to visit. More than 1.5 miles of scenic gorge, waterfalls, and beautiful nature. And many miles more trails in the woods. Make sure you are wearing good hiking shoes. The walkways are wet, sometimes muddy, and can be slippery. The park offers some truly breathtaking views. Thousands of stunning photo opportunities. All the amenities you could need are here. Several gift shops, rest rooms, sitting areas, food, parking, playground, grills and picnic areas, etc. Admission to the park itself is free. However, it will cost you 10 dollars to park your car for the day. This is a park you will remember for life. I highly recommend you check it out.

Hiked the northern room two weeks ago as the Gorge trail was closed. Although the main attraction was closed, the northern Trail provided a lot of good sites of everything below and plenty of rest points. The stairs getting up to the north room to start or not for the lighthearted, take them slow because there’s so many of them. You can take the northern room all the way to the end but you have to come back the same trail. We crossed over the suspension bridge to the southern room to end the hike back to the main parking area. Breathtaking views would love to come back here again.

I visited 3/29/22. The parking and entry were both free due to it being the off season. It’s in a busier area so not ideal for those seeking a more undisturbed nature type setting. The main gorge trail as well as the welcome center and bathrooms were closed for the season. They had porta-potties outside. The trials I went on that were open were pet friendly. There was some ice but nothing crazy, it was the worst on the suspension bridge as I recall. Some of the trails leading out of the park towards the south entrance indicated that they went in directions they didn’t aka the temporary signage they put up could’ve been better. I saw two other small groups of people there while I was. Overall it was a pretty sight to see and I would revisit again in the summer/fall if given the opportunity.

Amazing Views and trails. The mountains with beautiful creative shapes into amazing waterfalls. We did park our car at the bottom and took shuttle all the way up, shuttle charges 6 dollar per person. We started Indian trail from top going down with lot of look outs with good views. We were 4 adults and 3 kids so with kids it's easy to take Indian trail. They also have gorge trail which has amazing view but lot if stairs but would be totally worth it. Definitely worth visiting

Watkins Glen State Park was well worth the almost 2 hour trek from Syracuse! This was our first hike in New York and it was so worth it! $10 admission at the gate... No problem it is worth all of it! The Park and water falls were breathtaking! There are a lot of stairs but the views make up for it. I have never been to a place that has a different great view around every turn. The pictures don't do it justice. This is a must see location for any trip close to the area or even 2 hours away!

Definitely the Grand Canyon of EC !! Beautiful picturesque location, great scenery . I would recommend entering via South Entrance that way you can save on a few steps and still cover the entire park in the 3 mile loop. Wear rainproof clothing and good hiking boots as the rocks and the pathway can get slippery. Lots of crowds on weekends, if possible for good photos visit on weekdays..

Beautiful place in the winter leaving me wanting to come back! Unfortunately (although for good reason), the gorge trail is closed in the winter time. However, the rim trails are still open, providing for some spectacular views in a way that feels different than what you would see in the summer. It truly is a magical place with the snow and ice.

Beautiful and awe inspiring views and waterfalls!! Incredible to see the formation of this spectacular gorge!! An absolute MUST see!! Just make sure to wear comfortable shoes and clothing as well as bring water! This is an incredible walk with many... 822 steps to be exact to conquer! You can however start at the upper parking lot. And when you get to the bottom. You can take the shuttle back to your car. I suggest that for anybody with little ones or if you haven't done much cardio or steps. Very intense but definitely worth it!!

Awesome state park in Western New York. The must see is the 1.5 mile Gorge trail featuring great scenery with multiple waterfalls, stone bridges and the Gorge/river itself. You can combine this for a 3 mile walk with the indian trail and make it a loop. Neither trails are particularly difficult, other than a steep staircase at the end of the Gorge trail. No dogs allowed on the Gorge trail. There is a small visitor center, but it didn't look like there was any seating inside. Parking is $10 but I got there early enough to utilize the free 2 hour street parking.

Very nice park to visit. Proper footwear and clothing recommended for safety. Areas are often wet and could very slippery. Bring water as there is no place to buy one after you start your walk and unfilled you finish on the other end. Many waterfalls, colorful flowers (visited end of August).

Beautiful. The Gorge trail was closed for the season so check the website before you come. You an still take other trails. No dogs on the gorge trail but ok in the park and other trails.

One of the best state park with small river ripping thru stones and presenting natural curves and shapes. Definitely worth visiting.

It has 3 trails. Gorge trail is the lowest and nearest to all falls. I recommend use this trail if it is open for better view and magnificent scenery.

Very easy hike with beautiful scenery. Definitely recommend coming peak foliage and if you want to avoid crowds, try getting there before 10am. The hike itself is only took an hour and a half to go there and back; 2 hours if you're taking your time and stopping to take pictures. Parking is $10 for the day.

We have been for several times, and this place, definitely, the best place ever! It took us about 2 hours, you need to have snacks, comfortable clothes and sneakers! Go ahead 😀

What an amazing experience this place is! The vast size of this battlefield is awe inspiring. Over 70,000 men lost their lives battling over a 24 acre piece of land, to either keep or do away with slavery. To learn and to actually be able to visualize how far a canon ball weighing 8 pounds could be launched a mile away with a canon two hundred years ago is truly incredible. The museum displays of the uniforms, handguns, rifles and various artifacts is extensive. I enjoyed the bus tour with the tour guide. It was interesting and fun to hear the narrative of the battle and learn about the little to unknown facts about the battle. In order to experience the entire Gettysburg site, it is easily a two day trip. For convenience, there is a small cafeteria in the main building. The new museum building was.built in 2008 and is very clean and modern. There is a good sized souvenir shop in the main building as well. There are also numerous nearby hotels, souvenir shops and restaurants in the City of Gettysburg. For the history buff, this is a must see place to visit.

What a day! The employees were all kind & informative & our tour guide on the bus was great. Thanks John. Gift shop had something for everyone. Highly recommend the bus tour then driving self on automotive tour (a self drive). They even have many options for free.

My wife needed a wheelchair and the staff were really helpful in getting her one and they helped at all the exhibit entrances. The cyclorama is completely different in a very good way from the use of lights, simulated cannon and gunfire and the narration of events. I went last time 25 years ago but this time they brought it to life. When it gets close to 5 be ready to exit quickly and that includes the gift shop. The rest rooms are cordoned off too. If you have a disabled member of your family take them to the drop off point with benches and then go to the disabled parking which is a 1/4 mile walk to the front entrance.

This is a really nice park, very educational, and very clean. The prices in the gift shops and restaurants are on the higher side, but that’s to be expected at a tourist trap. I downloaded one of the self-guided tours for my iPhone, and I have to say that it was one of the best things that I've done while visiting Gettysburg. The tour was extremely informative, and it's well laid out and worked well with my Google Maps, so I knew exactly where to go.

So beautiful. Well preserved. It feels alive with all the canons and monuments. Fences look like they have always been here. A must see if you are a fan of history. Get a map and follow the self guided tour. You will not be disappointed.

What an incredible place. I didn't have enough time to truly explore the entirety of it, as it is so incredibly vast. The bus tour was well worth the money, and comes with a very nice driver and a knowledgeable and friendly guide. Highly recommend that everyone should go, if possible, take a few days to really take it all in. I plan to return for a few days to hike it.

Amazing history! You really get a feel for the place where 51,000 lost their lives over a three day time period. I started to whistle while we walked, and then stopped as this is hallowed ground. Beautiful area.

History lesson at its best. Recommend starting with Cyclorama & Narrated movie to help put all the pieces together. So much took place over the 3 days of the fighting, that it is so helpful to get the overview. There is an App for the battlefield tour that guides you along the way. Very effective. There is also an App for all of the National Parks that adds extra content before heading out. Parking lots full of licenses from all over the US.

My significant other and I went here on vacation and it was wonderful. They have packages that are affordable, including a bus tour, and access to the museum. The park rangers do a lot of informative activities as well that are free. You could easily spend an entire day here between the tours (they have a self guided car version, an informative bus tour), the museum, and the additional activities run by the museum and parks department. The gift shop is beautiful, and reasonable as well. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and informative about what to take advantage of. I would visit here again if given the opportunity.

I would give it a 5 star but the cost to get in makes in inaccessible to many people. (Just over $20 as of Nov. 2023). The movie was a great summary of what led to the battle at Gettysburg and touched on the aftermath. It was better than I had expected. The cyclorama was impressive when you learn that it is an actual oil painting from the turn of the century - and moved to Gettysburg in 1913. It went through a restoration and if you are a fan of history or art, this is a must see.

Great experience with the family. One of the rangers was amazing teaching our daughter more about Gettysburg. We enjoys the self guided tour (the app is free and has audio to go with the tour) and the monuments had great descriptions to them. Really felt Abraham Lincoln’s words while reading the Gettysburg address at the cemetery.

The best place to understand the history of United States 🇺🇸. Is the only and unique opportunity to feel, learn and see the artifacts of the Civil War. This place is outstanding. The museum has one of the biggest oil painting in the world which describes the reality of the battlefield of Gettysburg vs General Lee. If you willing to learn our freedom and why was important the emancipation, go and visit this area. Highly recommend: schedule a private tour for 3 hours and let the professional guide diving you to the past of the history. Unforgettable experience. Top 10 places to visit in PA. Stay in a local hotel. You will need plenty of time to walk, read and enjoy the activities.

We took the auto tour and loved it!! It took us about 2 hours and it is GPS driven. Very informative and gives you plenty of opportunity to get out and take pictures or get a closer look. The tour made us realize that we want to come back to the area and spend more time here. There are so many different things to do and see we can't wait to return!

I really enjoyed the walk through History. We used the national park app and we were able to enjoy the story being told to us at each one of the stops. The Monuments were beautiful and the park was well taken care of.

Went to Gettysburg Battlefield today. The grounds, the museum & visitor center were very informative. The staff we encountered were professional, courteous & cheerful. The visit had meaning, and was a thoughtful experience. I recommend you go there! Check it out!

Gettysburg National Military Park- AMAZING! I am a lover of American history and have visited many historical sights, memorials, and battlefields, Gettysburg is one of the best I have seen. The number of monuments, markers, and displays not only in the museum but all around the battlefield is just incredible. From the video in the visitor's center/ museum to the driving path, there is so much to see and learn. We downloaded the National Parks app which has a link to a free audio-guided tour. Loved it! I suggest- seeing the video, seeing the museum, driving the tour with the audio guide, and seeing the Gettysburg cemetery. See the spot where Lincoln gave the Gettysburg Address.

What a fabulous place. This is one of the cleanest and nicest places we have visited. The respect people have for this is amazing. The film, cyclamen and museum are wonderful and very moving. The staff is fantastic. We loved it! The auto tour was also great for us. We could take our time.

This is a must place to visit when you are in Gettysburg. Great place to learn about our history. Highly recommend this place for any age. They have a junior ranger program for kids. You would need a minumum of 3-4 hrs just for the museum alone. Very educational. Interesting facts and exhibits. Everyone was friendly and accomodating. They have a gift shop too. Overall a great experience.

I have promised myself many years ago to make this trip to this hallowed ground and I finally made it. The aura of this place is unique and the monuments,along with the excellent museum can really touch the visitor. I feel blessed for this experience.

National Parks have done a really excellent job in how they present the entire Military Park, including the Gettysburg Military Museum. It was very very impressive (and sad at the same time). Would certainly recommend a visit.

I agree with that don't eat here because the prices are ridiculous and it's not run by the park service or anybody at the visitor center. It's like a third-party hired out café and the food is really bad quality.! The museum bookstore had an author signing, so we looked out and got a historical book for our son, author: William Styple signed! there's some snacks available there lots of historical books, lotta tchotchkes it seemed very commercialized like you can get a coffee mug with Gettysburg and Abraham Lincoln bubblehead lol. bus tours are $40 for adults. I can't remember the prices for kids and they have four of those that leave Daley. It looks like I'm not sure if it's going to change later in spring or summer hours and the visitor center is nice and the upkeep is nice, and the restrooms are clean. Very windy out on the battlefield. there is a tour where you sit in your car and watch a couple videos at various stop so you can get out and then there's the walking tour that takes about an hour and a half and then there's the bus tours that take about two hours.. My family recommends the auto & walking tours, download the app. Learning about an important war in our country, shouldn't be considered a Tour strap and shouldn't be so much money specially if people need chip jars so apparently they're not getting paid a living wage which is a whole other story but yes, recommend going to Gettysburg at least once in your life and it's quite educational if you download the free tour...

Amazing history and great park. Bookstore was huge and the self guided car tour was fantastic. This is a must see for every American and travelers the same. Solidify our history in our hearts and learn what it took to be what we are today! The park center is new and very spacious with plenty to see. Check out the presentation and learn about the way at Gettysburg. Large bookstore with tons of history and lots for the kids as well. Don’t forget your passport stamps.

My husband and I experience the film/cyclorama/museum and Gettysburg bus tour offered by the Gettysburg National Military Museum and Visitors Center. We highly recommend all of these! Excellent experiences. Amazing tour and tour guide.

What a great experience and a chance to learn about our American history. It’s well worth taking the bus tour.

I visited on a Thursday morning. We were on our way home so had limited time. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We unfortunately did not have the time to go thru the museum. What I read indicates you need 4 hours. There is one hall that you can view for free. It consists of a lot of items that have been found on the battleground. It was very interesting. They have a map of the battleground park available however it is not very accurate. Google was very helpful finding the memorials we wanted to see. We look forward to coming back and spending more time. The park is well maintained and well labeled. There are a lot of options for how you tour the park. Self-guided, with a group and there are options for private guides. The heritage guides even dress up. You can use guides from the park itself and there are lots of companies that offer guides as well.

My significant other and I went here on vacation and it was wonderful. They have packages that are affordable, including a bus tour, and access to the museum. The park rangers do a lot of informative activities as well that are free. You could easily spend an entire day here between the tours (they have a self guided car version, an informative bus tour), the museum, and the additional activities run by the museum and parks department. The gift shop is beautiful, and reasonable as well. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and informative about what to take advantage of. I would visit here again if given the opportunity.

I would give it a 5 star but the cost to get in makes in inaccessible to many people. (Just over $20 as of Nov. 2023). The movie was a great summary of what led to the battle at Gettysburg and touched on the aftermath. It was better than I had expected. The cyclorama was impressive when you learn that it is an actual oil painting from the turn of the century - and moved to Gettysburg in 1913. It went through a restoration and if you are a fan of history or art, this is a must see.

Great experience with the family. One of the rangers was amazing teaching our daughter more about Gettysburg. We enjoys the self guided tour (the app is free and has audio to go with the tour) and the monuments had great descriptions to them. Really felt Abraham Lincoln’s words while reading the Gettysburg address at the cemetery.

The best place to understand the history of United States 🇺🇸. Is the only and unique opportunity to feel, learn and see the artifacts of the Civil War. This place is outstanding. You can link the experience with other Histories places in PA and follow up the past, the present and the future. The museum has one of the biggest oil painting in the world which describes the reality of the battlefield of Gettysburg vs General Lee. If you willing to learn our freedom and why was important the emancipation, go and visit this area. Highly recommend: schedule a private tour for 3 hours and let the professional guide diving you to the past of the history. Unforgettable experience. Top 10 places to visit in PA. Stay in a local hotel. You will need plenty of time to walk, read and enjoy the activities.

We took the auto tour and loved it!! It took us about 2 hours and it is GPS driven. Very informative and gives you plenty of opportunity to get out and take pictures or get a closer look. The tour made us realize that we want to come back to the area and spend more time here. There are so many different things to do and see we can't wait to return!

I really enjoyed the walk through History. We used the national park app and we were able to enjoy the story being told to us at each one of the stops. The Monuments were beautiful and the park was well taken care of.

Went to Gettysburg Battlefield today. The grounds, the museum & visitor center were very informative. The staff we encountered were professional, courteous & cheerful. The visit had meaning, and was a thoughtful experience. I recommend you go there! Check it out!

Gettysburg National Military Park- AMAZING! I am a lover of American history and have visited many historical sights, memorials, and battlefields, Gettysburg is one of the best I have seen. The number of monuments, markers, and displays not only in the museum but all around the battlefield is just incredible. From the video in the visitor's center/ museum to the driving path, there is so much to see and learn. We downloaded the National Parks app which has a link to a free audio-guided tour. Loved it! I suggest- seeing the video, seeing the museum, driving the tour with the audio guide, and seeing the Gettysburg cemetery. See the spot where Lincoln gave the Gettysburg Address.

What a fabulous place. This is one of the cleanest and nicest places we have visited. The respect people have for this is amazing. The film, cyclamen and museum are wonderful and very moving. The staff is fantastic. We loved it! The auto tour was also great for us. We could take our time.

This is a must place to visit when you are in Gettysburg. Great place to learn about our history. Highly recommend this place for any age. They have a junior ranger program for kids. You would need a minumum of 3-4 hrs just for the museum alone. Very educational. Interesting facts and exhibits. Everyone was friendly and accomodating. They have a gift shop too. Overall a great experience.

I have promised myself many years ago to make this trip to this hallowed ground and I finally made it. The aura of this place is unique and the monuments,along with the excellent museum can really touch the visitor. I feel blessed for this experience.

National Parks have done a really excellent job in how they present the entire Military Park, including the Gettysburg Military Museum. It was very very impressive (and sad at the same time). Would certainly recommend a visit.

I agree with that don't eat here because the prices are ridiculous and it's not run by the park service or anybody at the visitor center. It's like a third-party hired out café and the food is really bad quality.! The museum bookstore had an author signing, so we looked out and got a historical book for our son, author: William Styple signed! there's some snacks available there lots of historical books, lotta tchotchkes it seemed very commercialized like you can get a coffee mug with Gettysburg and Abraham Lincoln bubblehead lol. bus tours are $40 for adults. I can't remember the prices for kids and they have four of those that leave Daley. It looks like I'm not sure if it's going to change later in spring or summer hours and the visitor center is nice and the upkeep is nice, and the restrooms are clean. Very windy out on the battlefield. there is a tour where you sit in your car and watch a couple videos at various stop so you can get out and then there's the walking tour that takes about an hour and a half and then there's the bus tours that take about two hours.. My family recommends the auto & walking tours, download the app. Learning about an important war in our country, shouldn't be considered a Tour strap and shouldn't be so much money specially if people need chip jars so apparently they're not getting paid a living wage which is a whole other story but yes, recommend going to Gettysburg at least once in your life and it's quite educational if you download the free tour...

Amazing history and great park. Bookstore was huge and the self guided car tour was fantastic. This is a must see for every American and travelers the same. Solidify our history in our hearts and learn what it took to be what we are today! The park center is new and very spacious with plenty to see. Check out the presentation and learn about the way at Gettysburg. Large bookstore with tons of history and lots for the kids as well. Don’t forget your passport stamps.

My husband and I experience the film/cyclorama/museum and Gettysburg bus tour offered by the Gettysburg National Military Museum and Visitors Center. We highly recommend all of these! Excellent experiences. Amazing tour and tour guide.

What a great experience and a chance to learn about our American history. It’s well worth taking the bus tour.

I visited on a Thursday morning. We were on our way home so had limited time. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We unfortunately did not have the time to go thru the museum. What I read indicates you need 4 hours. There is one hall that you can view for free. It consists of a lot of items that have been found on the battleground. It was very interesting. They have a map of the battleground park available however it is not very accurate. Google was very helpful finding the memorials we wanted to see. We look forward to coming back and spending more time. The park is well maintained and well labeled. There are a lot of options for how you tour the park. Self-guided, with a group and there are options for private guides. The heritage guides even dress up. You can use guides from the park itself and there are lots of companies that offer guides as well.

Just Wow. A must visit place. Wonderful exhibits. They’ve different galleries, a wing alone for the historic exhibits, which were a lot (we weren’t able to see everything). And artistic exhibits are also Amazing. They’ve hot shops showing the glass demonstrations almost every 30 min, throughout the day. Definitely attend one. Don’t miss the innovation floor, it was quite interesting. There’s a beautiful gift shop with so many things and a good cafe, with vegetarian options. And Yes, make your own glass is nothing we can actually make, but only choose what shape and colours you want, and you can have really closer look, which was still nice to experience. It would be good if it’s specified clearly on the website what to expect. Also would love more interactive exhibits. Definitely a great visit.

Corning Museum of Glass is one of my favourite museums to visit, it is part art gallery. The glass collection is just stunning to see the creativity in this difficult medium. They have many different types of informational sessions throughout the day and are very educational for people of all ages. Children 17 and under are free of charge which is great value for families on a budget. Highly recommend visiting especially with children, it's a great learning experience.

Very cool and interesting displays. Nice gift shop. Cafe food was priced as expected, maybe slightly cheaper. The food had good flavor but was not even relatively warm. I will definitely visit again to see new displays. The sandblasting was really fun and the glass sculpture making was very interesting. Highly recommend, but first watch Blown Away seasons 1-4, makes it that much more interesting.

Very beautiful place to visit and also get lots of knowledge about glass making history and optical fiber. Don't forget to watch both of their glass blowing demonstrations. If you want to make your own glass, book it at least 3 months before your visit.

I love visiting this place. The modern art installations are my favorite part of the museum, but the whole thing is really well done with amazing architecture and always something to learn. This time we were able to visit a demonstration in the hot shop, which was really fun. And we also were able to take advantage of making some of our own glass after making a reservation. That was super fun. Looking forward to our next visit!

This museum was such an amazing stop on our way to Niagara Falls. Everyone enjoyed from toddler to adult. The sandblasting class (additional fee) was a lot of fun and the glasses came out beautiful. Our three year old even designed her own. I'd highly recommend. The cafeteria offered a wide variety of foods and was clean and fast. We look forward to visiting again.

Very engaging museum which can keep adults and children busy for several hours. You can explore the glass art gallery, discover the amazing science behind everyday glass objects, with many hands on displays that keep kids looking for more. Additionally there are free to watch live presentations (glass making and the exciting glass Breaking). For additional cost you can participate in a glass making session (good idea to pre register to save a spot). While this was interesting, we were a little disappointed since participation in the actual glass making is minimal. Also note that you either need to come in the next day to pick up your work or pay an additional shipping fee. Lastly there is a great cafeteria with a wide selection of foods that are very reasonably priced (not typical for museums). Free parking is available with an EV charging station. If you are up in the Finger lakes area this is definitely a great place to visit. When you're done, you can chill out in one of the many wineries or breweries in the area.

There are many lovely artworks to see that would educate your thoughts and consciousness. The museum arrangement is the only reason I gave it four stars. The galleries are not well-organized to display all of the artworks. You might miss a few of them because they are in a blind spot. In addition, the signs directing you to the galleries were unclear. While looking for gallery #6, we ended up in gallery #7. And walking the #7 led us to the #6 at the end. Aside from that, there is a live show in gallery #3 at certain times which a glass making process is demonstrated to visitors. Check the time slots and arrive on time to watch the show. It is included in the price of the ticket. On the ground floor, there is a museum shop where you may purchase the most stunning glass pieces. Based on the prices I've observed, the price range is about between $10 and $10,000. Overall, it's a must-see museum in Corning!

Great experience for all ages! Very interactive and engaging throughout! Went on a Memorial Day weekend a few years ago with wife and three kids. All of us had a good time and my wife was able to make her own glass ornament. We never realized how important Corning was to developing Pyrex and other glass products ranging from lighthouse glass to telescope development.

Really fantastic museum and HUGE!! It's quite an encyclopedic collection of a fascinating material. Everything from art to industry to science and more. We spent about two hours here and still didn't see it all. We did manage to catch one of the glass blowing demos though which was super cool to see. The gift shop was just as impressive as the museum itself, large and varied. Anyway, it's def worth a visit if you're nearby.

We had no much clue what to expect in a glass museum when we started our day here. But this place is mindblowing, and we ended up spending 5 hours going through everything here. We had such an amazing experience watching all the beautiful exhibits and learning many new things about glass. Entry is $30 for adults and free for kids of any age. We had basic sandblasting added as well, which was $14. The place is worth every dollar we spend. Live demos - we saw glass making and glass breaking demo as well. It was great to see how the glass is turned into different forms just by blowing and rolling. The glass breaking was very informative. We also did the sandblasting, which was a fun activity. Must watch place upstate newyork. Nature lovers can take a break and spend a half day here enjoying cool things made of glass and learning some new things.

Beautiful place to spend time with family to see some amazing glass work. They have superb crockery and gifts . Corelli Crockery was worth to buy . They have amazing pieces of glass and crystal from different artists. The place have baby care restroom which I have not seen at many places , since I have infant with me so It was a bless. They have shows where they give live demo of making of glass pieces.

This is an amazing museum with so many cool displays. There is something for everyone & the gift shop is the largest I've ever seen. It is worth the price of admission & they also participate in the Museums for All program if you receive food assistance with am EBT card. The parking lot is close but they do have shuttle busses if you park farther away.

I love this place! I've been going here since I was a kid, and I'm impressed every time. Gorgeous art with a lot of heart. I also really love making my own glass sculptures and necklaces when I go here. A little on the pricey side, but you definitely get your money's worth. I highly recommend getting the package deal with the Rockwell Museum to further enhance the experience.

The CMOG has a world-class collection of glass artifacts from the earliest beginnings of glass making, to modern art. If you are looking to experience "all things glass" this is a great place to visit. If you are looking to take an in-depth study of a certain subject, you will probably be disappointed. The entirety of the "Early American" bottles and glass items that are on display is shameful. The quality of the display shelves would be rivaled by Value City Furniture. In many instances there are killer (sometimes unique) bottles on a dark, crowded shelf where they can hardly be seen. An American museum that displays early American Glass so poorly is just a shame. The items that they probably have packed away in boxes that are not on display, is mind-boggling. But they will probably never see the light of day. The gift shop is phenomenal.

Sensory friendly! The museum offers a sensory backpack. My daughter wore the headphones the whole time and the sunglasses in bright exhibits. The fidget helped her wait her turn. The museum staff was awesome as well. Everyone was friendly and willing to explain things for her. We tried the make your own glass. I appreciate that it wasn’t crowded and activities were separated. My eight year old blew glass while my six year old fused a nightlight. On a six hour road trip with lots of meltdowns, the Corning Museum was the only stop that went smoothly. Happy mom. Thank You! P.s. We were worried about doing a hot glass project because they need to cool overnight. They said they could hold projects for up to 30 days. So we made it on our way up and pick it up on our way home. We recommend buying the make your own tickets in advance because they can sell out.

During our couple of days staying in the nearby town of Watkins Glen, we had the opportunity to visit the Corning Museum of Glass. I found myself wishing for more time to thoroughly explore the exhibits; 45 minutes simply wasn’t enough. Thankfully, the museum offered us a complimentary return entry valid for the next four weeks. Our visit began in the auditorium, where we were treated to a 20-minute live demonstration of glassmaking. The demonstration included a video detailing each step of the process, with a focus on the heating furnace used to melt the glass. The museum itself is segmented into various sections, including a prehistoric area, each richly filled with diverse displays. There was an impressive amount of security to ensure children didn’t touch any delicate pieces. The descriptions provided beneath each display were informative and added depth to our visit. The gift shop was remarkably large, the biggest I’ve seen in any museum. Although there was a café on site, it was unfortunately closed during our visit. Overall, visiting the Corning Museum of Glass is highly recommended for anyone in the area. It’s an enriching experience that shouldn’t be missed.

My daughter, mother and I visited on April 2nd and 3rd. We had an amazing experience both days. April 2nd we made glass flowers that came out beautiful thanks to Mona and her thorough help. She was the best. On the 3rd my daughter was chosen for her drawing from the daily, You Design it; we make it. Watching her drawing transform into the glass piece was just incredible. One of the most amazing museums I've experienced in a very long time. So impressive. We cannot wait to go back!

What an awesome time to visit during the week when it’s not busy. It was a little busy on weekday and I can’t imagine on weekends. The town is amazing too and one of the locals actually told us to come here. I would say get the membership as it about cheaper if you buy something at the end of the It’s works like a loop and easy to visit everything here. I learned a lot and get to see amazing glasswork piece. This place is amazing huge and just stunning.

We made ornaments and it was so much fun! The museum was a ton of fun! Both the modern side and the other side! Learning how glass is made, and has been made throughout history was just amazing! If you are ever in the area I suggest you stop by and do it!! You will love it because it is awesome!!

Really great museum. I wasn't expecting all the older glass pieces or the more modern designs. It was a real treat and am glad that I stopped by. I highly recommend visiting.

Flight 93 national memorial is easy to get to but off the beaten path. Plenty of free parking and handicapped accessible. The tower of voices you should come to first, if you didn’t don’t worry, we missed them coming in because gps took us to another route but still got to the memorial. Plenty of space. Don’t forget to get a program which details all about the tragedy. There’s a lot to walk so wear a good pair of shoes. We did the winding trail up to the view platform and I had on flip flops. It can be done which I proved but my feet, ugh! Everything is free. You can leave a note in the shelter for the victim’s families. Very beautiful place. Very well done and looked after. There are historians there to answer questions and tell the story. There are bathrooms on the premises. Camper parking was available as well.

This is an experience that I think k everyone should see. Went into the visitors center and felt a crazy calm in the facility. They actually have some recordings from the event available for you to listen to on headphones. The memorial plaza is closer to the crash site. There is a bridge, and you can hear the wind hum through the rails. The experience is melancholy 😢.

Amazing, somber, surreal experience. They documented everything in an easy to follow timeline, just beautiful displays in the visitor center. Very good tribute to those fallen and left behind that day. I could not help but tear up and have goosebumps reliving my experience and emotions on that day. Highly recommended for education and remembering the brave 40 who lost their lives due to the 4 hijackers.

We spent almost 2-1/2 hours here. It was amazing. Make sure you sit on the bench at the tower of voices. Take your time going through and really take everything in. This has to be one of the most memorable memorials. The flight path can bring you to your knees. It definitely humbles you.

The Visitor Center provides a detailed account of the events, personal stories, and artifacts that deepen the understanding of the day's events. It's a place that not only honors those who lost their lives but also educates and inspires visitors to remember the values of courage, sacrifice, and freedom.

Came from California to mechanicsburg to see my uncle and flight 93 was one of the things I wanted to see. We got there and it was very quiet. People speaking more quiet than usual out of the respect of the area you’re in. Steve gave a nice presentation about the different areas and details of the memorial. Very moving and a place Americans will never forget.

Beautiful memorial. I cannot describe the feeling there. I was not aware until I was on the field walk ending that the granite walkways were the route the flight came in on. When walking in you are on the granite walkway to a half wall of glass to the overlook. Then the granite walkway is at the field area along the marble name slabs to the fence to look through and see the boulder marking the site. The chimes of voices was so beautiful. Wait patiently to here them. They are like whispers in the winds. There is a clean restroom and a shop, also memorabilia and videos. Fields of wild flowers planted were gorgeous. Surreal.

Heartfelt tribute to the heroes on Flight 93. The visitor station shows a timeline of events and a screen that plays a re-enactment of when and how the plane crashed. Photos of all the victims are displayed on a wall along with voice recordings of the last calls to loved ones. There is an outlook area where you can see the crash site and memorial wall. All together there are 3 areas. The tower of voices, which is a giant wind chime representing 40 individual chimes for all 40 passengers. The visiting center displays artifacts and tells about what happened on and leading up to 9/11 along with an outlook center outside of the building. The third area is the memory wall with the names of victims, which is also close up to the crash site. There is a small store located inside with clothing and memorabilia also. Also, just an FYI, there is a sign that says no cameras or picture taking is allowed in the visiting center where all the artifacts are. There is also a sign near the tribute wall that says no food, pets, or bikes. I'm not sure if it is allowed in any other places, so research before you go. We stopped here on our way to Ohio from Washington DC. Would highly recommend to stop here if traveling in the area.

It’s always been hard not to get teary-eyed at visiting a memorial. Compared to others that I have visited this one is very modest. I visited a few hours before sundown in mid-June. Only a few people there. It quiet; no distractions from human noise. I found myself reflecting on the horror that these passengers felt when they came to the realization that they were going to die, by plunging thousands of feet. The decision they made to take back control of the aircraft was truly heroic.

I really hate to give any memorial less than 5 stars. It is a beautifully done building and grounds. Definitely worth the stop if you are driving through. It lost a star for the no pictures inside policy. It was the first time I have been to any place operated by the national park service that denied photography.

We were driving on the interstate and saw the sign. Spontaneously we exited. Not sure what to expect. The memorial was amazingly well done. While we expected a quick detour we spent a few hours. Flight over path/overlook, Tower of voices, Memorial plaza & wall of names. The visitor center does an excellent job retelling the stories of flight 93. Way more than we realized. Very quiet, tranquil and thoughtful site. The nuances of the design and intentionality of each part is amazing. Even a decent hiking path that interacts with the site. Talk to the rangers and volunteer guides who give unique insights. Highly recommended and respectfully done! 🇺🇸

Very emotional experience! Only tourist location I've ever visited that moved me to tears. I surmise someone born in the 1930's or earlier would feel similar while visiting Pearl Harbor. I found the differences in the reactions in the various visitors there very interesting. The younger visitors seemed curious but respectful. Many of the older visitors seemed saddened. Some openly wept listening to the actual recordings left by passengers on the answering machines of their loved ones when they realized they would most likely die. There is no fee to visit the Memorial park or visitor center. The exhibits are very educational, recreating the events on the morning of 9/11/01. Pets are allowed outside, but preferably not on the granite walkways. The only possible "negative" I can say is that there is a small gift shop in the visitor center. Some people might find this a bit tacky, but I thought the items sold were mainly educational or patriotic, and it's for a good cause, so I didn't mind its presence. I won't hesitate to visit here again in the future. Watching the deer feed in the same field where so much death occurred years earlier, with the beautiful backdrop of a blue sky and colorful autumn leaves, left me with a mixture of emotions: peace, sadness, admiration, despair, etc. It is an experience I will never forget. 💔❤

Somber, and yet resonating. This memorial is beautiful and really does an amazing job educating about the final moments these heroic people lived. There are two main areas. The tower of voices is closest to the entrance, while the memorial museum is farther up the hill. It's best to come in the main door which is to the left of the parking lot. The inside tells the story from take off to grounding. So many years later and my heart still mourns with the families. I pray these powerful people continue to rest in peace.

This is a very nice memorial. The story walls and recordings of passengers final phone calls are very moving. If you have not been here I highly recommend it. There are no photos allowed inside so I only have photos of the wind chime tower. This tower is only a small part of the overall memorial.

The least accessible of the 9/11 memorials but certainly worth the time. I’m impressed by the symbolism throughout the site. The path which is laid out like the flight path, the 40 individual marbles nameplates that from a distance look as one and the nod to the local hemlock trees throughout. Well done.

Very beautiful memorial. The visitors center relives the tragic event, step by step; very informative. Park rangers are on site during business hours to answer any questions you may have. This memorial was amazingly done. The phone calls if the victims really brought the emotions from weekday happened that day. The tower with the bells ringing was well done. I would recommend anyone that wanted to know more about flight 93 go to this memorial. It brought me to tears. Well done in honoring the victims.

I've been to the Flight 93 Memorial 11 times. My first time was with my dad, shortly after 9/11 and awhile I waited to ship to basic training. To see where the memorial started and where is today is truly amazing! It was a simple steel wire fence, maybe 40 feet long and 12 feet high. I remember so many stuffed animals, pictures, letters and other heart felt items from friends and family. Today I'm proud to be VP of Rescue 343-2 Memorial which is a tribute Memorial to 9/11 out of Ohio and all who passed on 9/11. We will NEVER FORGET!

The Flight 93 Memorial is such a great place to learn about what had happened on Flight 93 from 9/11. What they have done here to memorize the victims and everyone else affected by that dreadful day is amazing. They went above and beyond with this memorial. Inside you can find a ton of information and artifacts from the area during 9/11. There is no photography or video allowed inside of the building. There is a trail that will lead you down to the wall and where the crash site is. You can also drive here and walk a short distance to the crash site. A rock symbolizes where the plane had crashed. Take your time to enjoy and show respect towards all that had happened and all those brave people that had helped during the crash. The area is also very scenic.

Educational, emotional, and beautiful tribute to the lives lost on Flight 93. The park ranger shared about prior land ownership, the symbolism of the design of the grounds being like a mother's embrace, the tall walls to draw your attention up towards the sky/flight path, and the wooden gate/wood ceilings being a nod to the hemlocks that were damaged/burned during the explosion. and so much more. Truly incredible experience, this place will humble you.

It was an amazing, emotional, and educational experience. All the exhibits in the memorial were amazing. You can't leave there without learning how those passengers were such heroes for four our country.

Excellent memorial for the tragedy that occurred here. The signs are informational and really remind you what occurred on that fateful day. The place is very somber and truly makes you reflect. The design of the buildings following the flight path is brilliant and the way everything else is laid out is wonderful. I didn't realize how much land they have in the park but it is expansive.

We were taking the back roads to Hershey, PA and happened to drive by as it’s in a remote location. We turned around to visit and pay tribute to the men and women who lost their lives on Flight 93. The memorial was majestic and beautiful, standing tall by itself among the rolling hills. Very emotional experience standing there and hearing the chimes. So glad we turned around to experience this.

In the area for work , I stopped here to show my respect to those brave Americans who surrendered their lives to stop the terrorist on that horrific day. The site is very well down in how it preserves the natural beauty and shows respect to the heroes of Flight 93. Unfortunately, the wind speed was not high enough get the wind chimes going, but seeing it was great nevertheless. Well worth the visit

I have wanted to come here for years! I finally made it! It is a great place to visit! It is stunning! My only wish is I could live here for awhile. Amazing place, it is a work of art! Highly recommend you visit! Make plans ahead of time! You too will be amazed! So glad this is preserved and open to the public! It is a Gem! It is so relaxing and quaint! What is not to love? Nothing! The place is brilliant!

Great work of architecture! Love the floating terraces. Good hike and exercise trails for me but not for old people who has difficulty walking on rough grounds. Knowing the history of the house and the owners is an honor. When going wear comfortable clothing's and shoes. 👟

Absolutely stunning in every aspect. You will not be disappointed. I booked the in-depth tour and while $90 to tour a house may seem steep it was worth every penny. Our tour guide was incredible and went over so many small details about the property and Frank Lloyd’s vision.

The space in the history is breathtaking. To see and feel how the elements enter twine and then remember that this house was built in the 30s is remarkable. This space is peaceful and well-kept. The visitor center before you get to work on this space is astonishing. The foundation does a wonderful job of maintaining the simplicity and the complexity. We missed the Inside tour but walking on the premises and the hidden paths I realized that this house has been here for over 50 years - it's magical.

A really amazing experience. Seeing pictures and videos cannot do this place justice. The harmony created with nature, and a man-made structure is perfectly balanced. We went on a 30F day in November, but still felt I could imagine what a summer day felt like here with the windows open, and a nice breeze. The grounds are beautiful, and relatively untouched. The home is setback far enough that you’re secluded, and there’s no noise (except the falls). Our guide was Brandon L., and he was great. We opted for the earpiece, which was also very convenient. Nice gift shop.

Beautiful home and grounds. The views are absolutely breathtaking. We got to tour the inside of the house and the inside is just as amazing as the outside. Our guide was knowledgeable and funny. I highly recommend getting tickets in advance, they sell out a lot. The gift shop had some interesting things and the Cafe had good food.

The mecca to some of the great Frank Lloyd Wright. This house was an amazing sight to see and the landscape and surroundings just made the experience so much better. I've been to about three or four of his houses that he has designed and this one right here just really brought nature into the house and really made everything seem fluid. The creek and waterfall can be felt all throughout the house whether it is sight sound smell sometimes touch. You really get the sense of being in nature in a house like this as everything is designed to bring the outside in. On top of the house itself you can also walk the grounds and see other points of interest as well. There are some Trails you can walk in other viewpoints of the house which is highly encouraged. It is up in the mountains in the woods and I was fortunate enough to get the full experience of going there during a huge rainstorm but then having the skies clear once the tour started. So to say the least "falling water" was very literal that day. Well worth the price of admission and a must-see of Frank Lloyd Wright lovers

A shining example of just one of Frank Lloyd Wrights many accomplishments! Absolutely loved the guided tour, everything was covered in depth and with a wonderful personality! A beautiful setting and easy to find (despite it is out in the middle of nowhere) would highly recommend to anyone but especially architecture aficionados.

We love it here! Highly recommend the inside tour at least once. If tickets aren't available, the outside grounds are just as interesting. This last time we toured it was late Fall - still gorgeous & picturesque. The gift shop has unique items - make sure to check it out as well.

Fallingwater is an absolute gem to visit! We purchased our tickets in advance for a specific time slot and had zero wait time, as our tour started punctually. Earpiece radios allowed us to hear our knowledgeable tour guide during all times, giving us freedom to explore a bit around the property as she spoke. The visitors center was easy to navigate and was very beautiful. The gift shop had gorgeous souvenirs!

This place is one of kind. A beautiful nature walk to a true wonder. The visitor center seemed so calm and peaceful. it's an open roof in the woods. Even the mens room was beautiful. You can take guided tours, but it seems you have to book in advance, but for $15, you can walk the grounds on your own and still see the beauty. The cafe was really good and eating out in the lobby of the visitors center was very peaceful. I'm definitely glad to go. It is highly recommended to check out.

It was a dream of mine since I first studied Architecture to see Frank Lloyd Wright's masterpiece. And it didn't disappoint. Make sure to see his ingenious corner window detail. Fully integrated with nature.

This is a world famous building! A must see if you are in the area. We went in late February on Presidents Day. It was a beautiful day. We just had a timed walking pass. This means you just walk around the gardens and around the outside of the house. The actual map they give you is a bit rubbish as their are no physical markers on the ground to correspond with the letters on the map. Also paths etc were closed for maintenance. It was obviously ‘off season’ so a lot of maintenance was taking place. The restrooms were not functioning so there were portapotties. The gift shop and reception area were closed too. However the building was great! What an amazing building!! The gardens are perfect. It’s a really great stop over and the whole area itself is amazing

We had Linda as a guide. Wow, was she knowledgeable and friendly. The tour was about an hour long, and she successfully answered questions by all. You can tell she has a true love for Falling Water. I don't understand the complaints. All you simply need to do is READ the website. It lists all the rules, and guidelines. Nothing asked of us was outlandish. Preserving the home for all to see in the future is best. It was our second time visiting, the first time was in the early 1990's. It's amazing how well kept and cared for the home is. Such an amazing place to visit!

Fabulous location. Gluten free lunch at the cafe. Museum is beautiful. Art gallery is amazing. Bathrooms are gorgeous and clean. Grounds are stunning. Linda our tour guide was wonderful. Such a soothing voice. The house is unbelievable. So grateful they opened it up for tours. What a remarkable legacy. Would visit again.

A must see if you're in the area, even if you're not an architecture buff. Beautiful house and grounds. Very good tour guides. Take the time to walk the trail back to the Visitors Center. Some very interesting outdoor sculptures along the path. They could do a much better/faster job in the Cafe at the Visitors center but warning there are not a lot of good food options near Fallingwater. If you're in the area already, take the time to visit Kentuck Knob just a short distance away. It's a very different but terrific visit experience.

Visited for the exterior only tour twice. Can walk around and see inside through windows easily enough. One of the exterior terraces with a great view inside can also be accessed unless preservation work is in progress. Don't forget to take a walk to the Paradise Overlook, a beautiful scene with the sound and sight of the Youghiogheny River!

Amazing house. What a breathtaking experience this house. Frank Lloyd Wright did a superb job making the house blend into nature and the whole thing be cantilever is astonishing. I had heard of this house before but hadn't taken the time to visit until now and I wasn't disappointed. I can understand why it is so beloved and really appreciate that it is being so well maintained. The tour guide was excellent and she really gave us great insight into the family and the history of the building. There are some trails to walk around as well if you wanted to spend more time there. Highly recommended!

I honestly had no idea what to expect going here, but since my childhood, I always hoped I'd make it here. Every facet of the experience seems to have been addressed to make it excellent in every way. From the entrance, the welcome center, beverage center, gift shop, walking tour host with Bluetooth headset, walking tour of the house and grounds, and even umbrellas. Thank you to the caretakers and overseers of the organization! This was everything to fill my heart, interest in art, architecture, nature, and hippie vibe, all wrapped up in one place!

It is simply amazing that Frank Loyd Wright designed Fallingwater in 1935 as a vacation home for the Kaufmann family. This home is stunning. It’s unfortunate that it’s undergoing renovations that will last the next three years however, it’s better to see it maintained then neglected the ground surrounding the house are beautiful for short hikes. It’s very peaceful and calm. This has been a bucket list Item to see so very happy I made it out here. Went on a Sunday and there was hardly anyone here. Felt like we had the entire area to ourselves. Definitely recommend.

Built in the early thirties of the 1900’s as a getaway from EVERYTHING “Cottage” or Vacation Home, unbelievable advanced architecture and use of space and nature… I was very impressed to say the least! Quite the drive to get there but for me and my “Inspired” Son, it was definitely worth it.

Highly recommend visiting here for a small getaway or even just for the day. It is a family oriented place, everyone is friendly, and staff is very cautious. Just like any other theme type park, food and drink prices are slightly higher than average, however they weren't outrageous. There is something to do for everyone, from the baby splash pad to the 21 and older hot tub oasis. It feels safe within the facility and kids can enjoy themselves without parents being extremely concerned at all times. You must be wearing a bracelet to enter the facility for any reason and staff seems to keep a very close eye out for that. We had a blast and have already begun planning our next weekend getaway. There is a great arcade, and a restaurant right on site, you can also play a game of bowling if you are done with the water for the day. There is truly something for everyone.

The kids had a blast but there wasn't really too much going on for the adults. There's a bar in the water park but Everything is super expensive. We paid $9 just for one weak drink. Food is expensive as well we paid $16 just for two chicken fingers some french fries and a non refillable soda. The chlorine smell is very strong and it was super crowded. All of the hotels are connected to the water park so you do not have to go outside to get to it but if you do not get the hotel that the water park is actually in it is a crazy long walk. I probably won't go back but I do recommend giving it a try though if you have the money for it. It was definitely a great experience. It's definitely great if you have kids under the age of 15 and good for some of the older kids. Just keep in mind that the hotel rooms aren't cheap as the passes are included in the purchase of your room and online it says four passes per room but that is not accurate. We purchased two rooms both the same size with the same amount of beds and one room came with 4 passes and the other room only came with 3. There's an arcade, ice cream shop, and gift shop upstairs from the water park. Gift shop does not carry anything over a size XL. There's also locker rentals upstairs for the lockers at the water park.

So expensive and hate to spend it but honestly worth it. If you consider how much a person it is at a place like urban air.. which might be way less than splash lagoon.. but splash lagoon has 4x that for things to do. Plus you get to stay however long you want as opposed to paying a lot of money for just a few hours. Theres a ropes course up in the air, an arcade with seriously better games than places that are just an arcade only. The wave pool, surf ride, splash zone for smaller kids. So many fun slides for kids and adults plus a family hot tub and an adult hot tub too! Theres a bar and you can take your drink to the adult hot tub. The water is warm enough to be comfortable and I very rarely swim because I hate cold water. We paid 500 bucks for a family of 6 but you get to stay as long as you wants which is a big deal. The food is good too, and quick. Kind of like a school lunch line.

Went for a quick getaway, drove 4 hours from Toronto and it did not disappoint. We had a few issues getting the ticket online/thru the phone and if we hadn’t insisted calling to get a receipt we might have stressed out when we got there, but all turned all an awesome experience at the end. Lots of fun for the whole family!!

Splash Lagoon was a fun experience for our family. We were visiting from Texas, as we have family in Erie. There is plenty of parking and we were assisted immediately at the front desk. Our 5 year old was excited to get to all the attractions but decidedly was a bit nervous at first. He decided to stick with the lazy river and the new Tree House. He loved the Typhoon Twister (red/blue) slide and went down it a ton. We next tried out the wave pool and it was nice they have life vests for use. He can swim but it was nice to have the added safety. The surf machine was a favorite of my husband's-- it's so nice that everything is included and you aren't charged extra for any of the water attractions. Our son finally decided to try the bigger slides and was thrilled with the Big Kahuna and Cyclone...although I think his favorite ended up being the Python Plunge. We spent a few hours here and it wasn't too crowded--we never waited more than a few minutes for a slide. The only downside is the lockers--$16 felt a little steep for the smallest size, the bigger is $22. I'm sure for a longer day or stuff that needs secured it's fine but we just chose to move our towels and sandals around with us. Overall though it was a great experience and we'd come back again in a heartbeat!

Our trip to Splash Lagoon Water Park was an absolute blast! Despite the weekend crowd, our kids had an amazing time, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. Firstly, let's talk about the great deal we snagged for our visit. The value we received for our money was outstanding. With affordable admission prices and various package options, we were able to enjoy all the park's attractions without breaking the bank. Plus, the additional perks included in our deal made the experience even more worthwhile. Now, onto the arcade – what a gem! When our kids needed a break from the water activities, the arcade provided the perfect escape. With a wide range of games suitable for all ages, there was never a dull moment. The vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff added to the excitement, creating an unforgettable gaming experience for our family. Despite the park being packed with weekend visitors, the staff managed the crowds efficiently, ensuring everyone had a chance to enjoy the attractions. From thrilling slides to relaxing pools, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Overall, our trip to Splash Lagoon Water Park exceeded our expectations. The great deal, fun-filled arcade, and bustling atmosphere made it a weekend to remember. We can't wait to visit again!

Our visit included with our hotel stay for our daughters cheer competition. A lot of fun. Was really busy during our visit bit was still enjoyable. Definitely recommend wearing some water shoes. Kind of small changing room so I changed in the showers. But I blame that on the amount of visitors during a cheer competition weekend. All in all, fun for the whole family and we will be back again someday.

Brought my 3 kids- 6,9,11 for a two day trip. We spent all day Saturday and Sunday here and it was awesome!! Perfect temperatures indoors and water. If you get there right at opening or stay right till close the lines are shortest. That being said, this weekend the lines were very reasonable in my opinion! The kids can’t wait to make this an annual trip! Every lifeguard we encountered was great! They were all so good with the kids! There weren’t any food options that my kids would eat, so we did bring food, but went to the car to eat it. The ropes course was a blast too! Definitely enough to keep the kids busy and happy for two days! Staying at the holiday inn was perfect as well! Quick walk between the two!

Kids loved it. Lifeguards were very alert and on top of it. No slimy floors on pool bottoms. There are activities/pools to accommodate all ages from toddler to adult. If I had to mention a couple cons: restrooms/change rooms could use an update. Music was unnecessary and loud (you couldn't hear the music anyway due to the sound of water/splashing, and kids screaming in the background. Loud music was just added noise.)

Awesome place for the kiddos. Really nice that the entire place is inside. It's also very convenient that there is direct hotel and restaurant access. However, that's about as good as it got. 3 main attractions, 1 set of stairs. That is how the entire place is set up. It's hard to know where to go, or who's going where. The worst part- none of the staff really cares or pays attention or implements the rules, which is obviously very unsafe for the kids. They have no way to communicate with each other, other than to blow a whistle and yell. The light system indicating the next person could go clearly wasn't working for 2 days, yet we continued to waste time sitting at ride after ride because the workers were talking to each other and not paying attention to the riders. Multiple times we witnessed the attendants at the surf ride paying absolutely no attention while people were on the board, waiting for direction. The whole place could absolutely use a face lift. Overall, the kids enjoyed themselves; the adults TRIED to enjoy the kids enjoying themselves, but were too busy worrying.

We had a wonderful experience, this park has activity for all ages. we all enjoyed ourselves a lot. we'll definitely come back. i suggest correcting the time to start the park because they say they open at 11:00, but at 10:00, it was open. i lost an hour of fun. Courtyard hotel it’s an amazing place too. We love it.

For the people leaving bad reviews because of the connecting hotels, those hotels have nothing to do with Splash Lagoon and while they are connected, they are separate and no the waterpark is not included unless you buy a hotel and waterpark package off the Splash Lagoon Website which compared to places like Kalahari, this is an amazing deal. We booked a non connected and it was perfect. There are a couple non connected hotels like the Marriott we stayed in that were immaculate and you could see them from the parking lot, less than a minute drive! Highly recommend. Splash Lagoon has something for everyone from infants to adults (which is important because we have a 6 month old, 12 year old, and 17 year old). Water was comfortable and restrooms, dining area and waterpark area are clean and maintained by staff in a timely manner. Has everything a big name park like Kalahari has but is much more affordable. There was also plenty of seating in all areas of the park and dining areas so there was plenty of room and you weren’t on top of others or without a seat (Kalahari for example runs out of seating pretty early). Great location with tons of hotel, dining and shopping options within a minutes drive or walk. Splash has a bar and a quick service restaurant/concession area and there is a Quaker Steak and Lube attached to the building. We booked a package with Courtyard By Marriott across the street after reading tons of bad reviews for dirty worn out rooms and tons of noise at the connecting hotels. Our hotel was less than a minute drive. Hotel was immaculately clean and maintained, and it was quiet and comfortable. It even had its own heated pool, toddler heated pool, hot tub, sauna and gym so the kids could swim if they wanted even after waterpark close. I highly recommend booking the package on Splash Lagoon bundled with the Marriott. We splurged for a cabana (very fair price) for our second day which is out of budget at places like Kalahari. It was amazing to have a place to relax, let the baby nap, and have a home base to store our stuff and meet up with each other. It came with towels, snacks, water, a fridge, souvenir cup with $0.99 cent refills, arcade cards, TV and our own dining table. It was extremely private and comfortable. Staff were on top of everything and very friendly and eager to help with anything a guest needed. We will definitely be back.

Hands down the BEST PLACE!! I'm a huuuuge fan of it being indoors!! After having LYME'S I can't handle the sun!! The price for the rooms the price of entrance the foods in the hotels... Amazing! I've been going there for 12yrs now and not even the kids are sick of it yet lol. We've stayed at every hotel attached to Splash Lagoon. And NONE were a disappointment!!

Nice indoor park. Does get busy but not too bad. It’s not huge but enough to keep everybody for the day. Water temperature was okay. Room temperature could be a little warmer during winter season. Check in was simple. Large lockers are $22 per day. Smaller ones are $16. Double check your locker. Mine did not lock even when the door closes and turns red for in used. I found out at the end of my stay. There are tables throughout that you can place your stuff on if you don’t want to rent a locker. Lifeguards everywhere and they do a great job making sure everyone is safe. Overall, great experience.

Had a wonderful visit! Great layout and very well kept. I was pleasantly surprised that there was never a wet floor in the bathroom! We loved the arcade, wave pool, lazy river, slides and hot tub! We enjoyed eating lunch up top overlooking the flow rider and wave pool. Only 2 hours from our home and we will definitely return, thanks for the great day!

This place is amazing!! Great arcade inside and they even have a bar for the adults. Spent the weekend here with a bundle deal including hotel. Lockers available and private areas you can rent.

Did the Hotel over- night stay for my daughter s birthday. We bought the birthday cake/pizza add on. I was surprised how delicious the cake was ! The hotel room was a little dated- but we were there to swim and sleep. The room was VERY close to the pool it was great ! Kids loved the hot tub , wave pool and kiddie water slide the best ! Some lifeguards were very attentive and great- others looked like they were falling asleep- they were switched ALOT.

We took the kids (8 and 9) here for NYE and we all had a blast. The water park is clean, spacious, lots of fun things for everyone to do including lots of slides, the lazy river, hot tubs and the wave pool. The lifeguards were on it...great job! The prices are fair for a full day of fun and I feel comfortable and safe letting the kids run and find their favorite slides to play on and not have to be stuck together or with us the entire time, they can let loose and just have fun. The kids loved it so much that we're going back in the spring for their birthdays. Not sure who is more excited, the kids or us parents!

It is the Disney land of Erie, PA! The boys and I had a wonderful time. The best way to experience it is to book at least one night stay at one of their connected hotels. This way one can easily change between swimming and warm/dry clothes through each day, and avoids having to lug around one's valuables. It was nice to be able to take a little break from the water, and play at the arcade area. So much fun! It was like a mini vacation....as one of my boys described. We stayed at the Hawthorn Suites. The staff there were wonderful and were very accommodating to our needs. Thank you, Heather, Michelle, Isheka, and Esteban!

This park has a big shore line with multiple beaches, bike and boat rentals, tours and sunset cruise. This is one of the best parks to visit and experience it's natural beauty, huge trees that offer shade and oxygen, biking and walking trails along the shore lines, sand beaches and clean water. During summer weekends, the beaches will be busy with lot of people and dirty water along shore lines. I suggest going here early in the day to find the best spot but given the shore line stretches across multiple miles finding a beach spot shouldn't be a problem. While it would be nice to have more water activities within the island, you can find them by traveling few miles outside the park. The tour was great which helped us learn about the history of the place. There is a museum to visit within the island and a tower which you can climb up top. I had a great time and will recommend going here.

So I’m going to lead with my family and I visited Presque Isle State Park as tourists and did not know what to expect. The water was cold, but considering that I’m from Miami, that doesn’t surprise me. The sand was incredibly clean. There was plenty of parking. There are tons of beach entrances along the way and we really enjoyed how well kept this place was. In general, we all had such a great time and recommend this place to anyone who is looking to swim in one of the Great Lakes and families who are looking for something to do with the kids. We loved it.

We came here to watch the eclipse and I’m so glad we did! They had a ton of parking but we got there early enough we didn’t have much of an issue. The kids had a blast playing on the beach waiting for the eclipse. The park rangers were also handing out info which was cool and the bathrooms were very close. We are so happy with our choice to watch the eclipse here. I would love to come back to explore the area more someday.

A MUST see in Erie. Or even if you are close. Miles of beautiful beach. Crystal clear water (in May). And the lighthouse and tour were well worth it. There is also fishing and bike rentals. Just amazing! I can’t say enough good things about this place! I would highly recommend it.

This is a great spot for a day trip if you're in NE Ohio or northern PA. There's so much to do & see. Talk to the locals to find all the best spots. The views of Lake Erie are spectacular & of course the sunsets are beautiful. Sara's restaurant is at the entrance of the Isle & is a great spot to get food on your way in or on your way out. There are restrooms throughout the park & from the ones I went into they were all clean. If you have time I recommend driving the entire Isle & seeing it all. You can rent bikes & there's a path around most of the Isle that accommodates the bikes. A walking/running path is also on the Isle if you want to get a workout in. This is a gem for sure with well maintained beaches & sights to see!

Lots of great things to do here, from trails to boating to flying kites and hanging on the beach. This area has a ton of recreational activities. The beach is nice and clean and even though there was a lot of activity it was not crowded at all. Highly recommend.

Beautiful area. Family fun with boating, biking, walking, picnicking and fishing. There are several beaching to go to. Most people go to the first beach to look for sea glass. The bathrooms are clean and located near the roadways. Very nice place to visit.

2nd time visiting this well maintained State Park! Restrooms well equipped and clean! Fall colors were awesome at the end of October. The wild turkey was cool to see!

Beautiful place to walk around and enjoy. Very well maintained. The beach is amazing and goes on forever. Wide paved walking and biking paths. Plenty of parking spots in various locations. Highly recommend if you are in Erie.

Have been here many times in the past during afternoons and sunset time. But this was the first time I visited the place after sunset and it was very pretty. With just a little light from moon and the stars, the sky was a beautiful lit canvas which was embellished with thin rain!! One of the best experiences I have ever had.

Awesome- a must visit. Plenty of parking and restrooms. The park is very clean, there are multiple areas to relax and have picnics 🧺. I envy the people that live here, they have a beautiful piece of nature to enjoy. Great place to host events or just enjoy a beautiful day with family. Added bonus: there are plenty of bikes and paddle boats to rent as well as areas you’re allowed to fish in. Lockdowns are over - Go enjoy the outdoors and nature plenty to see and do.

During my stay in Erie I ran a sunny 13.1 mile loop around the peninsula & wow is it a gorgeous swath of land. It reminded me of the Homer spit in many ways up in Alaska. The beaches are gorgeous & there is a lot of pristine wilderness to be observed. On my run I saw a lot of wildlife which is always thrilling.

Lovely! Beach 11 has accessibility mats up to the water's edge. Sand was clean. Life guards were present. Easy ups are allowed. Restrooms clean but no showers. Only a foot rinse. Parking is unlined so people didn't park efficiently and created long walks to the beach. Great time on July 4. Beach 10 had barrier rocks and geese, with the bold gull. Picturesque!

Beautiful state park. And they do not charge admission to get in. I totally expected to tho and would have. The lighthouses were neat. We toured Presque Isle Lighthouse. You do have to pay for that. We stopped at kite beach to let our son swim. The houseboats in the bay were so cool. Spent 2 hours here could have spent more!

Stop by the Tom Ridge Enviromental Center first if you are new to Erie and dont know the area. They will tell you a lot about the peninsula before you visit. This is a place to explore for several days. Its around 11 miles all the way around and it has several historical monuments and pleanty of opportunities to enjoy the park without disturbing the wild life too much. Some of the monuments are seasonal. So keep that in mind if you are visiting from warmer areas where stuff is open year round. There are tons of trails were you can walk, jog, bike and you can see downtown Erie on one side on lake Erie on the other. Looks more like an ocean that a lake to me. Yes... you will see some folks surfing out there.

This is a great place to take your family. There are a lot of different beach areas to choose from and a lot of different areas to go for a walk or explore. For being in Pennsylvania the beaches are beautiful and very clean. There are multiple lighthouses to explore and take photos of. This is an amazing spot for a family to spend the weekend.

This is one of the best PA state parks that I’ve visited. There is so much to see and do. I was on the beach during the eclipse, it was an amazing experience. I can’t wait to come back here in the summer.

If you d like to visit one American park , this has to be it. I had no idea this area included so many incredibly preserved buildings that are historic and gorgeous. The self guided walking tour is easy and informational. It provides opportunities to see everything from the waterfront to architecture.The museum is cute and there are is great gift shop. The rangers and volunteers were kind and professional and genuinely appeared to love their jobs.

Lovely area to get outside. Took a scenic drive and a few hikes. The weather cooperated with sunny skies and 75 degree temperatures.

Beautiful beaches. Great for good excerise such as walking, running, biking, kayaking and swimming in the summer. There is a lot of event going on in the summer as well as selections of food trucks. Bikes and kayaks are available for rent in the park. This park is one of the best spot to watch the sunset and the fireworks Presque Isle is free and there are restroom available.

absolutely beautiful anytime of the year , summer events , great shady spot's for picnics fishing and family time , perfect for wedding photo ops also. please respect no littering no alcohol definitely no drugs this is a place to make memories of a simpler time so relax and enjoy it don't destroy it !!!!!

What a phenomenal experience. We had such a blast here. It is a super nice place, well laid out displays, plenty of room to move around and interact with displays. It has 3 floors with elevators if needed. Seats are spaced out occasionally to take a break. Nice little cafe at the end. All the employees from the front desk to the store were simply wonderful, very welcoming. Great experience I would recommend to anyone.

A little on the pricey side but…. Oh man, my trip to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Ohio was EPIC! From the moment I walked in, it was all good vibes. The staff was super friendly and made me feel right at home. Bro, let me tell you, this place is like a football heaven! They've got all the cool stuff from the olden days to the latest highlights. The exhibits were boss, showing off the best players, the sickest moments, and how the game has evolved over time. And don't even get me started on the Hall of Fame gallery - that's where the legends live, man! I gotta give props to the Hall of Fame for keeping the history of football alive. They paid tribute to not only the big shots but also the unsung heroes and everyone who's contributed to the sport. It's all about respect, man! And you know what's even better? The place was clean and easy to get around. They had signs everywhere, so I didn't get lost like a noob.

I've never been to any other pro sport hall of fame but it's hard to believe they'd be any better than this. If you're into NFL football in the least way you will love this place. Plan on 3 to 4 hours at a minimum to even scratch the surface of all that's here. They have a tremendous complex in Canton. It's not just the hall there's a stadium ,artificial turf field that you can walk , and many other shopping and dining opportunities in the immediate area. I recommend it to any and all NFL fans. Adult entry is $42 per person but discounts can be had for as little as $10 if you go on Tuesdays which are senior days and your senior of course. Check their website for all the different discount rates that are available that help to make it more affordable. Also they don't advertise it much but this is also the home of the black college football Hall of Fame as well. Many interesting and historical artifacts to be found here.

I haven't been here sometime but it's definitely evolving. It was awesome experience I been coming here since I was kid. Tickets are 40 dollars which isn't bad. Staff is very helpful the sports shop is cool. The history behind this is placed great layout on telling the NFL story. The outside field is good for taking pictures as well as inside the museum. Turn down brightness on phone its glare in most pictures from glass. The shrine headstones are badass. The Cafe inside is convenient. It takes about 2 hrs to get good pictures and see everything. The Super Bowl glass trophy room is nice. The parking was bit tight. Madden room is awesome telling the story. I would definitely come back here again and again. 5 stars GO PATS see you soon Brady!

If you are a football fan, this place is worth visiting. What an experience! Bought our tickets in advance online expecting a crowd. Thankfully there was no wait. The gift shop has affordable items. 2 floors of amazing memorabilia. Stayed all day and toured the entire building.

This was a fantastic experience! The flow of the museum is easy to follow and leads you through the history of professional football from the beginning. It includes plenty of old uniforms, leather helmets and other items from the very early days as well as memorabilia from more recent players. The section with the busts of inductees is spacious enough that it's easy to get pictures of your favorite players. There are also some entertaining interactive exhibits and a cool locker room holographic film. Even my football indifferent family enjoyed themselves.
