Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes boasts an engaging storyline that'll last you north of 40 hours, plus plenty of neat castle-building, quests for new allies, and more. We think it's all rather nifty.

Here's how to snag every script for your theatre in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes.

But what is there to do after you've completed the alliance's mission to restore peace to the realms? Eiyuden Chronicle doesn't pride itself on having a traditionally "robust post-game" - that's not really the Suikoden way - but there's still more fun to be found. And, with the inclusion of a New Game Plus feature, you can zip along through it all.

Unravel The (Rest Of The) Mystery

Eiyuden Chronicle character Selbineth in the Mysterious Room

There's a decent chance you will have already unlocked the Mysterious Room by the time the credits roll on Nowa's sweeping tale of heroism.

Selbineth, the grim keeper of this cross-dimensional basement-situated abode, will have joined the team. You may have even blitzed through the bulk of the Hero's Trial Ground's gauntlet of 26 floors.

The last multi-battle stage at the Hero's Trial Ground includes rematches with endgame boss fights - including most of the final bosses. As such, we're not sure if it's even supposed to be available before post-game. Either way, we managed to reach it prior to the ending.

But it's equally likely that you'll struggle with that final string of foes. Or, if you have conquered them, you will have left the subsequently unlocked Endless Mode for later. Return on New Game Plus, and sweep through the competition. Aim to get everyone to level 99!

Mop Up Those Lingering Trophies

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes has some real tough trophies in store for you. Well, maybe "tough" isn't the right word. Perhaps 'tedious" suits the situation. Finding every fish, battling every foe for the bestiary, winning every eggfoot race, collecting every beigoma... it's a lot.

We have a list of our picks for the most in-depth achievements in the game. If you managed to fulfill the requirements for them all prior to taking the fight to the Dux's doorstep at Gardhaven Castle, hat's off ot you. If not, it'll be easier now that you can blitz through the game.

Gather The Rest Of The Team

It can be pretty tricky to acquire all 120 heroes in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. (Yeah, the subtitle's missing a few of 'em.) Rody, Huang, and several other prospective recruits have some fairly involved issues for you to sort through before they'll sign up.

Harder still, you have a harsh cut-off window for when you can obtain the final recruit before they become permanently locked-out of your playthrough.

If you are looking for the best armor in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, we'll show you exactly where you need to go!

Many players will inevitably have botched this, since the game doesn't exactly lampshade that cut-off window. Now, you can go back and make the magic happen.

Try Out New Party Compositions

Eiyuden Chronicle has over 70 playable party members. (The rest offer their services in support roles or castle assistance.) With so many choices, only the most inquisitive fans will have sampled every party lineup before bringing Aldric to justice.

We have thoughts on the best characters in the game, but ultimately, there's no right or wrong answer. (And doubtless we've missed something along the way.) Just about any party composition can work, and it can be a lot of fun to try out potential new favorites.

The Mysterious Room is the perfect place to experiment, but now that you've seen the story and know what to expect from its combat engagements, feel free to bring folks along who weren't yet available your first go-around.

There's nothing quite like having Perrielle stare at Perrielle during pivotal scenes.

Check Out The DLC

When Rabbit & Bear Studio was prepping Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, they held Kickstarter campaign polls for backers to decide which three potential DLC scenarios sounded the coolest out of nine choices. Fans voted, and the results are in:

  • The Chapter of Seign: Seign and his allies infiltrate the Galdean Empire. Given Eiyuden Chronicle's storyline, this is likely set fairly late in the tale.
  • The Chapter of Marisa: Marisa and her friends encounter Nil for the first time in this prequel DLC which explores the origins of our odd robotic ally.
  • The Chapter of Markus: Everybody's favorite Skeleton King leads the way through a teleportation device - with a little help from perfect Carrie - to an "enigmatic realm."

As of this writing, we don't know when these DLCs will drop. We do know they each sound rather intriguing. Hopefully, they're well worth return trips to Eiyuden's world!
