It feels like a slow motion type of song the hero is driving away from the explosions and just wants to leave the situation he’s in. Mac also in this song feels like Icarus he’s flying away yet things are still the same. I guess he Jump(ed) the flow is so smooth as well.
It feels like you are on a cliff overlooking your past and just hoping you can find something better your leaving yet you feel the ghosts of your past behind you. Magical really.

i got a bone to pick like roses, is one of my favorite mac lyrics and i really dont know why. wings was my favorite song for about 18 months. i want to get a tattoo in honor of it but im between wings and jet fuel. little unsure given there have been sort of interpretations of jet fuel that i dont love and i see it differently.

someone posted their tattoo thats the swimming album cover but kinda swirly n trippy with “so it goes” and i was gonna do a similar design with wings. but a bird drinking jet fuel leaking from a jet or something honestly sounds super sick and i love this idea 🤯🤯🤯

the first time i ever smoked weed was also funny enough the first time i ever listened to mac, i was with one of my bestfriends and after we smoked a bowl he put on wings and i’ve been hooked ever since
I think a underrated song is “dunno” by Mac Miller. I think I can relate to a lot the song and the reality behind the song. I think about that song whenever I think about my ex and what I wish I could say be happening in reality. But just like Mac, it’s only a wish and feeling after a breakup. (I say that because swimming was released after the breakup of him and Ariana)
