Simon "Si" Spurrier writes novels and comics.

Legion-centric storyline

This is continuation of X-Men Legacy series. So it can be considered volume two. First volume of stories more focuses Rogue and X team.

This volume, on the other hand focuses on Legion.

As a book it is fun to read if you are familiar with X-men. If you do not know much about X-men history just familiar with the FX show it can be a little confusing to go through.

This book is also different than your regular X-men titles. Ideologically, Legion goes his own way and take responsibility of mutantkind for its present and future.

Since this is an Omnibus, paper quality binding is superb and it looks great on the shelf.

This is by far one of the greatest comic book series that I have had the pleasure of reading. Great story with great art. If you enjoyed the FX show Legion, this is where they got a lot of their ideas.

I pre-ordered the omnibus because I knew I just had to have it for such a great price (~$50). It was delivered on time and was packaged well. No complaints there. It is a sturdy hardcover book that will be the shinning jewel of my collection.

Just get it. Pull the trigger and buy this book. You will not regret it

Extraordinary! In the mutant community there are just two paths to follow: Cyclops' and Wolverine's. But what if there were another? After the death of Charles Xavier, emerges his son, David Haller. David has his own ideas of how to save the mutant community. He doesn't quite have his "head" together, but he means well. This graphic novel is a well written, beautifully illustrated, psychedelic trip through Legion 's attempts to find himself and his own way. Don’t miss it.

Amazing artwork and enjoyable story telling if light on the dialogue. This book centres around Legion and is a must have for even a casual Legion fan. Unfortunately with a character such as Legion the ending is always difficult to wrap up in a believable and non frustrating way. The end is a little lazy and cliche but it doesn't spoil the overall read.

This is one of the craziest and greatest X-Men stories you can read and having it collected in one solid hardbound edition is perfect. There's a lot of context to this story (ie. Cyclops being a renegade?) but nonetheless, hardcore X-Men fans will dig this book. I certainly did.

Only giving this a 3 star because of all the fuss over this collection. If it wasn't for the overhyped maybe 4star. It had some pretty good stuff and overall story was OK but I found some other character interaction along the way a bit annoying. A lot of the internal dialog "gestalt" this and "meta" that seemed a little much too. As for art. Also just slightly above average. Some good layouts and stuff but always felt like I wanted a bit more.
