William John Baldwin

William John "Big Red" Baldwin, 72, of Cicero, passed away December 23, 2023. William was born in Syracuse, New York on February 12, 1951 to William and Anna Baldwin. William retired from JPW Construction after a lifetime career as a crane operator. He was a member of the South Bay Fire Department, Cicero. In his free time, he enjoyed long Harley rides and camping with his family in Hinckley. He was one of the OG lake rats. William was one of the most social people you would ever get the chance to meet. No matter what he was going through, he found countless ways to crack jokes, making everyone around him laugh. He was always spending time with family and friends, lending a helping hand.
William was preceded in death by his parents, William and Anna Baldwin, Sr.; sister, Barbara; and niece Carrie.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Denise Baldwin; two daughters, Megan Baldwin, Katherine (Scott) Baldwin; son, William Baldwin; five grandchildren, Nathan, Madison, Samantha, Scotty, Jaxson "Lil Red"; siblings, Mary Anne (Corky) and James (Lynn); two sister in laws, Jackie (Ricky) and Jamie (Brenda); and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
