I'm curious if the longer takes here ("How High The Moon", "Dizzy Atmosphere" etc) are the same recordings from the Bird on 52nd Street LP by Jazz Workshop (reissued later by Fantasy) also apparently recorded by Benedetti-- track titles appear to match, but not timings. Mosaic should do an archival reissue of just any complete songs for those of us not interested in transcribing or analyzing Bird's solos, even just on CD. I can't justify paying $100 for maybe ten complete band performances, and a large box taking up room on my shelf of mostly stuff I wont play more than once.
