Seven Springs Mountain Resort can accommodate more than 5,000 overnight guests in its perfectly appointed 414-room, 10-story high-rise hotel, nearly 1,200 condominiums and town homes, 11 cottages and 15 chalets.
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
We decided to spend a weekend away before the kids went back to school. We had a wonderful time! We stayed in a family suite. The kids loved having their own "room." They gave us a room with a door and patio facing the slopes, which was very convenient with the kids. We loved sitting on the patio and looking at the mountains. There was a rowdy crew above us one night, but I called down to the front desk and they took care of the situation. Because they removed the Keurig due to COVID, they provided us coffee in the lobby, and it was delicious.
There were a lot of other precautions they are taking due to COVID, such as wiping down the chairs at the pool and at restaurants, limiting the number of people inside the adventure center, and even wiping down the sleds for the slide. They had disinfectant pumps everywhere. Most people had on masks, except for a housekeeper, which I found odd. They had just recently replaced the HVAC system, and I felt that they are doing the best that they can with the situation.
We had no trouble finding outdoor dining throughout the weekend, which was important to us. The kids really enjoyed the alpine slide, biking, and the pool. Being able to order food at the pool was so convenient, and it was delicious! I've skied here many times, but have never spent the night, and was so pleasantly surprised at what a relaxing weekend we had. The kids keep asking to return. I'm looking forward to coming back for a fall or winter weekend.

We had booked this trip before the spike in cases in November but wanted to keep our reservation as we figured there would be plenty to do outdoors. It was a great stay for our family of four, we were able to do a Herd lesson for just our family which made it feel like a private lesson for us. My husband and daughter have their own skis and were out on the slopes as soon as we checked in at 5pm, maximizing the time was wonderful! Staying at the resort ensured that we had lift tickets and didn't have to worry about them selling out, which happened almost every day of our stay. We had some not great weather with an ice storm that came through but we made the best of it inside; ice cream and milkshakes and movie marathons kept the kids entertained in our room. The snow tubing was timed and ensured that the lines weren't outrageous and having the magic carpets was a relief. We are all looking forward to going back when COVID restrictions are lifted and using all of what the resort has to offer. I can't recommend this place more highly!

The front desk is very helpful. With new COVID-19 restrictions there are no microwaves or coffee makers in the rooms. Mini fridge is available and OK in terms of keeping things cold. Beware of "the Kitchen", staff there are not friendly or helpful. It took over an hour to get a kids grill cheese and fries and they got the order wrong the first time. No one is wearing their mask appropriately. Will not be ordering food from there again ever.

I had just checked out of Stoneridge condos with a group and wanted to let someone know how disappointed we were about ski in/out being false advertising. The trail in front of these condos was not open and the entire time we were staying no snow was being made on it.
We had planned carefully and paid a premium for what we thought would be the perk of snowboarding from right outside our condo which just turned into the same routine if you were at some cabin off site.
Call the shuttle, try to fit your snowboards on the side of the crowded bus, and 30 minutes after you get ready maybe you're ready to go on your first lift.
Why are we expected to pay $2000 for 2 nights on this (what's supposed to be) super convenient location to only be forced to take the shuttle down the mountain. We weren't aware there would be no ski in/out available when we booked, nothing in the time before check in, not until we picked up our cards and I asked the staff did we know we wouldn't have this option.
We don't feel confident booking with Seven Springs again for lodging after this bait and switch.
Also we mostly found this funny but is this real? One of the beds is supposed to be a mattress on the floor of a CLOSET with no pillows? I tried to attach the photo but it's not working on TripAdvisor's site.

Every aspect of sanitizing the front desk, rest rooms, as well as the bar area at the golf course was paramount at the resort and golf course during this Covid-19 pandemic. The attention to detail was evident when checking in, as each guest was given a "gift bag" of toiletries upon arrival, a map of the grounds, and asked if there were any questions or concerns. It was a very "welcoming" experience, and our golfing group felt very safe in every area of the resort and golf course.

We loved staying at 7 Springs. The staff was super nice and helpful! We booked a few days prior to going, and the staff helped us book our first skiing trip. They even helped us book the ski rentals and skiing lesson. The room was clean and spacious. We booked one with the mountain view side. The resort has restaurants as well, and other things to do as a family. Other than skiing, we also enjoyed snow tubing. It was easy to go around the resort using their shuttle service (just ask for a shuttle where you are) and you can charge things to your room. Great place for the value!! We will definitely come back!

Almost nobody wearing masks properly. Ski school instructor showed up for lesson without a mask on. If my kids can wear a mask in school for a whole day, why can't Seven Springs get their employees to wear masks? Lift operators wear masks on chin or over mouth, but not covering nose. Got a pizza at Mountain Pizza; employees who were cutting and boxing the pizzas not wearing masks over their noses.

I have skied most of my life through the US but mostly on the east coast and I had never heard of 7 Springs. Some friends let us know about a cyber deal and we scooped up on it immediately. We stayed in the 7 Springs Lodge and the accommodations, although not 5 star, were perfect for our family of 4. We stayed in a king bed junior suite so the kids were able to sleep on the pull out sofa and my hubby and I had the privacy of the bedroom. Although not all slopes and lifts were open, we had a good sample of what the resort had to offer in the way of skiing. Although they make snow, it was a bit too warm for the snow machines to be running and I do not blame the lack of snow on the resort. The breakfast buffet was extensive and affordable, the dinner buffet was the same, extensive and affordable. Both were delicious and had enough to choose from even for a picky diner. The pizza restaurant was also delicious. Not a bad meal was had by our crew. We took food to make our own lunches and plenty of snacks for breaks as well. We were able to leave a bag with goodies at the base of the mountain and no one bothered it. We rented skis and the process was quick and easy. The boots are self serve and the skis are determined by height and expertise. Overall, I give this rating 5 stars, my kids had a memorable experience and we will return to this little gem in Champion, PA!!

We spent a weekend getaway at Seven Springs for snowboarding. However there is so much more to enjoy! It’s a great place for the entire family. It truly is a resort. Photos are of King tower room #966. It has a nice balcony overlooking the slopes. 2nd highest floor, near the end of the hall provides for a more quiet location. There are several dining options to choose from so you won’t get bored. The restaurant called Slopeside offers breakfast and dinner buffets at a reasonable price. Helen’s is the fine dining option in a beautiful location - we were informed it was the home of the original owner. There is a spa on-site, cute shops, pool and hot tubs, bowling alley, game room and even roller skating. This was our second visit and we’ll definitely be back.

We stayed for a weekend ski trip. Our room and common areas (e.g., hallways, stairwells) were in need of a deep clean. For example, the carpets in our rooms were dark red and the dust between end tables and the beds was clearly visible on the dark carpet. It was gross. There were similar issues in the bathroom. There was a transition piece between the carpet and tile that was missing so our feet kept touching on a tiny nail (until we finally remembered it was there and avoided it). There were visible water stains on the ceiling. It wasn't an active leak, but it was still gross looking. The list could go on. The services related to dining were terrible. For example, coffee and hot chocolate are offered in the lobby but only until 1:00pm. After that if you want hot chocolate or coffee it's not clear to me where we could have gone other than the cafeteria that serviced the mountain. The ONLY breakfast option while we were there (Saturday-Monday) was the buffet for $21.00 (at Slopeside). While the food on the buffet was good and definitely worth the price, sometimes we just wanted a simple bagel not a sit down meal. There was a coffee shop on the first floor of the lobby, but it was closed due to staffing issues and nothing else was available. A few positives: our room had a nice view of the mountain, there was also a lovely balcony.
