Very interesting self guided tour starts in the textile side with a great history of thread and weaving technology.

A small section on materials and metal refining and working and ending in the automotive area.

Signage in multiple languages including English.

There are audio tour headphones available which we didn’t use.

Docents and guides are posted around to demonstrate and answer questions.

1000 yen $7 admission fee. Well worth it.

I am slightly disappointed to know the castle is closed. Yes, you cannot enter the castle. We can only walk around the compound of the castle. It is nice but of course not as interesting as those castles which you can enter. There is a photo booth which a photographer will take 3 photos of you and you get to choose 1. A small photo is free while a bigger version costs JPY 1,200.

Very nice aquarium. The surrounding area also is full of activities to cover a whole day. The port itself is beautiful and a big Ferris wheel nearby. Very close to train.

This railway museum is slightly away from Nagoya central/station but accessible via Aonami line. We spent around an hour+ here touring the old trains to the current Shinkansen, playing with simulators and learning how the modern high-speed rails can travel at such fast speed. There are plenty of seats around so visitors can take their breather if required. Worth it if you could slot it into your itinerary!

The park is big and I have to admit that I have seen one of the biggest animals a zoo could have! All of them are so big in size!

We spend almost 45mins here walking through various shops. Many food options which we could eat by the side of the shop or snack on the go. There are plenty of clothing and pharmacy shops which could easily kill half of your day if you want to visit most of them. Great shopping experience!

Gem of a museum. Get to see the fine works of porcelain. There is also a good restaurant nearby to dine with Noritake tableware.

is bigger than expected, with different things like books, swords, clothing, not all have English explanations, though. Quite informative, can get a set ticket with the garden.
