Must do in Singapore if you only have 1 or 2 days. Note Gardens by the Bay is not one attraction but rather, a whole garden/park complex with different things to see and do. How long you spend is up to you, if you only have 1-2 hours then I recommend the Cloud dome conservatory and Supertree Grove walkway (great views of Marina Bay Sands area), although really I would recommend at least 3 hours, and you could easily spend half a day, or a full day if going slowly with kids. T Other areas to see include the Flower Dome and indoor Floral Fantasy. Note separate tickets are needed for these attractions, so it is pretty expensive if you're seeing multiple things. There is a free light show in the evenings at super tree grove which is recommended. There is also a basic food court nearby the super tree grove.

Beautiful and peaceful botanic gardens - very large so you could spend a few hours thoroughly exploring it. If you're short on time, the national orchids garden section (which requires paid tickets) is the one highlight, and other areas to focus on are the ginger garden and the peaceful rainforest walk

On our second trip to Singapore this came across my radar. The national orchid botanical gardens in Singapore! Over 3000 varieties 2000 of which are natively grown in Singapore. My wife was in heaven and she’s an orchid lover! The five star review is hers!

This conservatory is the most must-see part of Gardens by the Bay, which is itself the most must see attraction of Singapore. The towering mountain of rainforest garden, with its winding walkways and waterfalls. it a true feat of horticultural engineering. Multiple spectacular photos along the route. Also the cooling atmosphere is a wonderful respite from the Singapore heat. Give yourself an hour to walk through.

Regarded as one of the world's best zoos for a reason. Needs at least half a day to do quickly but realistically a full day to do well and see everything. Kids and families will love it. What sets this zoo apart is the way there are few visible cages, rather the animal habitats are cleverly separated from humans through clever barriers such as waterways. It makes the habitats seem much more natural and friendly to the animals. The absolute highlight is the Urangatans near the entrance. Good facilities, food options and restaurant and also a handy shuttle service to move around different zones of the zoo, and a good phone app for tracking show times and locating yourself on the map.

Note there are three separate parks in the area - the Main Zoo, River Wonders, and the Night Safari - this review is focussed only on the first (which we heard was the best)

We weren't sure whether to come to this as we thought it was just a hotel but it is much more than that. The true architectural icon of Singapore, this is a large hotel and shopping complex, and definitely a must see both for taking photos along the coastline but also to explore the spectacular shops inside. You can even ride boats Venice style within the shopping complex! Sure most of the shops are luxury brands outside our price range but it still feels special to walk through. Recommended views from the top of the hotel at the Ce La Vie Bar ($30 Entry which can be reclaimed on admittedly expensive food and drinks)

Well worth the cost - the views, especially after dark, are amazing ! The pods are spacious, so you never get claustrophobic.

The central attraction of the Gardens By the Bay, these can be enjoyed from the bottom, but also highly recommend the OCBC walkway to enjoy views from the top with Marina Bay Sands in the background. Go at sunset for the best lighting and when the trees start to light up. There is also a free evening light show with lights set to music - worth timing your visit around this.

Among the shophouses of Singapore’s’ Chinatown, we were surprised to discover the district’s colourful street art and iconic Chinese and Hindu temples. We were amzzed by the new art works you can find around the area

Best visit the Deck after 5pm, then hanging around until sunset, you can see Singapore landscape in two different angles. Then leave at 7:30pm and go down to see the free Spectra Light Show. Afterward, have a dinner at the food court, and stroll through the Helix Bridge to finish the day. Remember to book the ticket to the Deck in advance, it is very full.

My three kids enjoyed making the paper tanks activity, good family bonding activity. It's part of the BMT exhibit which is a good learning experience for them to learn about basic military training at a young age!

A cool and happening shopping and hotel strip for people with a spacious budget. It also rooms some cool bars and redtaurants, however, as to be expected, they are pricey.
