ABOUT US
Jenny and Deirdre met while Lecturing at the Dublin Institute of Design in 2016. Realising their common goals and ambitions they quickly began to fuse their expertise, bringing their unique brands of energy and style to each others projects, forming a strong collaborative force. CO/LAB DESIGN STUDIO has been a natural evolution from this, born of a shared joy and passion for design. CO/LAB DESIGN STUDIO formally launched in April 2019.
Jenny & Deirdre bring close to 30 years experience in Commercial and Residential Design of varying scale and budget in Dublin, London, France and Switzerland.They offer a full service from Inception through to design, installation and project management.The duo have built a vast repertoire of local and international suppliers and trades during this time.
The practise holds memberships with the Institute of Designers Ireland and The Interiors Association

Following a career as a Management Consultant Deirdre re-trained as an interior designer in London’s KLC. On graduating, she worked at a high-end Notting Hill studio, before setting up her own highly sucessful practice in London in 2007. Deirdre returned to Ireland in 2015 and soon after her return she set up IS Design and took on a position with Dublin Institute of Design lecturing the QQI Degree while also collaborating with Blaithnaid Bergin delivering her Business of Food courses nationwide to the hospitality industry.

After graduating Jenny worked with BKD Architects for 12 years. During her time there she gained extensive design, practical and professional experience at senior level working on some of the largest commercial projects in Ireland while also setting up their Interior Design Department. In 2012 Jenny moved on to set up her own design practice, continuing her work with existing commercial clients and developing new commercial & residential clients. Jenny also has a passion for education and has lectured the QQI Degree in Dublin Institute of Design.

Natalie is an Interior designer with over 15 years of industry experience specialising in residential interiors and renovations. Along with her career in interior design Natalie has been lecturing in interior design with the Dublin Institute of Design and was Head of the Interior Design Department Department 2016-2019
