'I would love to stay much longer of course I would, but I'm happy to be by the pool now enjoying cocktails. I was very lucky to be in the jungle with a very lovely bunch of people.'

Larry, Adam and Carol all lamented her early exit from the show, though Wayne Bridge was quick to pilfer her choice sleeping spot in the camp.

However, it was back to business as Carol and Sam were cherry-picked to take part in the Bushtucker Trial, Hot Sc-Air Ballooning.

Taking on the challenge, which saw the pair hoisted into the air, the two were tasked with walking across suspended between baskets and picking stars out of mid-air.

A fall off the beam meant that the star would lose a meal for the camp, though they'd be able to continue with the task.

Their slow and steady approach nabbed them two meals for camp in the first section, though the pair were left shocked as they were raised up and a section of the walkway was dropped.

Watching the section fall to the floor, Carol called out in shock: 'What was that?'

As Ant explained the terrifying twist in the game, the former Countdown star then threw her head back in nervous laughter and sighed: 'You really aren't nice are you!'

To which Dec replied wittily: 'No, he's not is he!'

But despite getting 'jelly legs' as they were raised, Carol managed to help Sam nab another four meals for the camp.

And despite the platform narrowing even further, and the duo being hoisted further into the air, the pair managed to keep their heads and claimed 10 meals for the camp.

In a dramatic and tense moment, the pair spun each other round to reach the final stars – though Sam ensured her campmate remained clam in the face of adversity.

As she was left dangling in the air, Ant cheekily quipped: 'Well, we said there would be a few surprises didn't we!'

Sam enjoyed flying around shouting Ninja Warrior, Carol asked if she too could fly and jumped out of her basket whooping and congratulating each other.

After returning to the ground, the pair declared their success was down to 'girl power' before they headed back to camp to celebrate their success.

Playing a trick on their camp mates some fibs, the duo said they'd been taken up 200 meters before running through the task in three minutes.

As Jordan hoped there wouldn't be snakes on the challenge, a train pulled up to the platform.

Joining them on the train were a number of huge snakes, which slithered into the carriage as they stopped at a red light.

Not happy with their fellow passengers, Jordan said of one snake: 'This thing looks like Godzilla without legs!'

As the celebrities rifled through the tube's collection of decoy ticket for one special star ticket, they showed little fear as they faced-up to the critters – each bagging a star ticket each.

The late group, Wayne, Adam, Sam, Scarlett and Joel, went on the 'Critterdilly Line' – though the youngsters seemed to be having more trouble with the critters than the previous team.

As they rooted through the debris to get their tickets, rotting offal, giant spiders, cockroaches and scorpions all made them jump.

In the revolting carriage they all eventually managed to find their tickets – despite much screaming, squealing and jumping – meaning they joined the other group in the Jungle Arms – a special pub located in the heart of the outback.
