- greenlakeSeattle, WA84 contributionsMy great grandfather was very active in this community including building many homes, roads, bridges and getting an Alderman. My grandmother taught at the school in the '30s as well. The museum was so interesting and the two staff were incredibly with the stories about the area and it's people. They knew so much about this adorable town and it's historical info. Highly recommend!!!!Written 16 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- NgosiVancouver, Canada202 contributionsWent to the Provincial Park on the south end of the lake and had a very nice and peaceful afternoon on the beach. There are plenty of Tables and one can bring the food with them and enjoy the beach. It was a perfect day sunny no wind and actually not to many people. Water was still ok and not to cold.

A nice little gift shop (although very pricey), cafe with great looking food, good bathrooms, and tons of brochures and travel info. Make sure to take some fun photos on their 3D train trestle, etc. The young woman at the guest services was super nice and helpful. A must stop spot.Written 5 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- I8830JVgeorgesCastlegar, Canada65 contributionsBeautiful, clean and well cared for Provincial Campground in southern B.C
My wife and I go here every year in the fall - staff is exceptional and the campground is very quiet this time of year. We love the Park
The Parks Branch should've a sewage drop for the Park even though all the washrooms throughout the Park are clean etc - a sewage dump site should be mandatory - no one leaves their unit at three in the morning and it would be nice to be a able to empty the tanks before heading east over the Paulson Pass. Yes there is a sewage dump in Christina Lake -which is just gross and bad.Written 23 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There are four galleries to visit and Canadian and Indigenous artists are often showcased here.
I always enjoy the atmosphere and the friendly staff. Plus, I can't help but check out the gift shop. There are beautiful collections of pottery and ceramics, jewelry and books, toys and ornaments.
For residents, there is also an art rental program here that enables you to take home works by local artists for a very reasonable price.Written 28 October 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ND FVancouver, Canada545 contributionsWhile travelling east on Highway 3 to Nelson, stopped at Christina Lake to stretch our legs and have a picnic lunch. Found Christina Lake Park with plenty of parking. The beach wasn’t crowded and there were picnic tables to sit at. A park warden was present picking up litter and checking on things. Nice sandy beach, crisp clear water and plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. No flush toilets, just you standard outhouse style.Written 23 August 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Michael K3 contributionsRoss and Janice are awesome. Ross was so helpful answering questions and showing us everything around the property. Amazing hospitality. This the second best place in Grand Forks after Alphine Taxidermy. Extensive collection of chainsaws and saws going back to the days when they were first invented. There is an awesome mural of the person who constructed the barn. My kids loved the dog. There is a beautiful creek too.Written 12 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Elly MGrand Forks, Canada2 contributionsWhat a find! After seeking out a venue for our non-profit's staff appreciation event, I met Crystal, owner of Lov'ander Acres Lavender Farm.
Her beautiful, rural property just three minutes off the hwy, in sunny Grand Forks BC, was exactly what we needed. The peaceful, friendly vibe; following along the lavender labyrinth in quiet reflection; enjoying a delicious privately catered meal (which we arranged and brought in separately) in the shaded, old barn; visiting together over a refreshing cup of Crystal's homemade lavender lemonade and homemade lavender ice cream; and browsing through her rustic shop of lavender-infused products and treats.
We arranged ahead with Crystal, and she prepared a beautiful gift bag for each of our staff including her handmade lavender soap, and a bottle of her lavender hand and body cream.
I highly recommend a visit on your own, when hosting fam and friends, or to book your next private function.
Thank you to Crystal and her husband, Steve for being such welcoming and accommodating hosts. Special thanks also to Marie, chef and owner of Le Bazar for her delicious, hearty, and healthy Mediterranean meal made with fresh, local, organic ingredients. You can find her Tue abd Fri at the Grand Forks Farmer's Market, and at her food truck on Central and 3rd in downtown Grand Forks.

Bring cash for the donation you will want to make, since there is no entry fee. The local history room is fascinating, and the art rental room has lovely art, clearly inspired by nearby nature.Written 11 March 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - davestummySherwood Park, Canada123 contributionsLiving in Christina Lake we often walk up Santa Rosa and take the TCT trail to the kettle river bridge then backtrack. The views along the trail are beautiful as you walk above the river.Written 12 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MortanahGrand Forks, Canada209 contributionsThis is one of the most family friendly pools I have been at. My kids love coming here. They have all kinds of balls and toys and floaty things to play with. There is a rope swing they can let down if you ask. The sauna is nice and they do have a small weight room. Almost always empty so no worries about waiting for equipment. You can get multi pass punch cards or a seasons pass. You and your family will love it here.Written 26 August 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- canadianballfanLangley, Canada173 contributionsOn a family holiday in the area and played disc golf on the course and later came back to play par 3 golf. Family run course that was accommodating to the fact it was my son’s first time ever playing golf. Great memories made and my son wants to come back and play again.Written 14 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AhlumVancouver, Canada479 contributionsTrail head of Cascade Falls on Hwy 395 about 5 min from the turning off from Hwy 3. Walked through two short tunnels to get to see the Falls about 15 min from the trail head. I was not sure I had reached the best viewpoint of the Falls but I was satisfied with what I saw. After the sign at the trail head, nowhere along the trail is signposted.Written 3 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
