This has to be the WWE's best DVD release so far. There's a good six hours of classic moments and scenes from "sports entertainment"'s most prolific program.
I have 2 qualms. 1 is the lack of non-Attitude era footage. Disc 1 is better with the Austin - McMahon war, Dude Love and the Undertaker vs. Kane story. There's only one cut from 1997 (a classic clip: Stone Cold throwing Rock's belt off a bridge into the lake).
2 is that there are no Shawn Michaels matches. Where's Austin and Michaels vs. Owen & Bulldog from May 97?
Notwithstanding (to quote Vince), I still have to give this set 5 stars. Great matches include Rock vs. X=Pac and let's not forget Disc 2 with Triple H vs. The Rock in an I Quit match and Hardy Boyz vs. Edge and Christian. Both discs are really good, match wise. A stunning effort all around.

These DVD's are awesome, jam packed with matches and moments highlighted on Raw is War. Although the first vol. is more centered on Stone Cold and his problems with Vince, they did include some other stuff, maybe on segment of HBK, the nation impersonation of DX, and some other stuff. They did miss alot of funny, and exciting moments and matches though, but ya can't blame them they covered more than enough for the average fan. RAW vol. 2 has more matches than moments, especially it's extras, I think every extra is a match. Not too many highlighted moments from 1999, they could have included some more stuff, I mean come on people this is DVD! This is a really good DVD combo, I do recommend this for sale, it's about 3 hours and some change of non-stop excitement, get it while it's hot!!

This DVD starts in 1997 and works it way up to 1999. There are very many good things that this DVD has going for it.
Volume 1&2 includes storylines for Stone Cold, The Rock, Undertaker & Kane, D-X (with HHH leading), Val Venis, Chyna, HHH, and the Rock & Sock saga.
Some of the negative aspects include them not adding enough Stone Cold vs McMahon, Shawn Michaels as the leader of DX, The Hart family's part in WWF history in 1997. The Rock is not featured prominently enough. But overall, I rate this 4 out of 5 stars.

1998年頃以降のWWF時代のRAW IS WARの名場面＋ドキュメンタリー要素を含んだ内容になっています。
今のWWEにはないアティテュード路線や多数の選手が絡んだ規模の大きいバカげたストーリー。
WWFを現役で見た人には懐かしく、そしてこの時代を知らない人には今のWWE以上の面白さを
体感できると思います。

さすがWWF時代に発売した(と思われる)商品だけあって、最近のDVDみたいにWWFのロゴにモザイクが
かかっていない事が素晴らしい。
強いて欠点を挙げるなら、希少価値による値段の向上と日本語字幕が付いていないことですが
これは商品自体の問題ではないのであしからず。

ちなみにこのDVDは日本のプレイヤーでも再生できます。

Unter anderem die Fehde zwischen Mr. McMahon & Steve Austin,
Die Entstehung und das Ende der D-Generation X,
Die Geschichte als Rocky Maiva zum Peoples Champ (The Rock) wurde, die Rock & Sock Connection und noch vieles mehr!
Es sind auch komplette Matches bei wie z.B. The Rock vs X-Pac,

Endlich ist es soweit: WWF RAW auf DVD. Zu finden ist auf dem Set eine Menge der Highlights die die WWF uns Fans in den Jahren 1997 - 1999 in RAW geboten hat. So z.B. die Fehde McMahon vs. Austin oder die D-X unter der Leitung von Triple H. Auch nicht ausgelassen wurden Mick Foley und das Debüt von Mr. Socko. Nicht zu vergessen die Premiere von Y2J Chris Jericho. Selbstverständlich enthält das Set auch einige Matches aus RAW und weiteres Material der Superstars der WWF (The Rock, Undertaker u.a.) Insgesamt gesehen: Es hätte noch der eine oder andere "RAW-Moment" dazukommen können, aber das vorhandene Material ist gut bis sehr gut!! Von daher 4 Sterne von 5!!
