Reviews
- The Gerald Wilson "Moment of Truth" Tone Poet release brought me to this one. I have to say I enjoy this one almost as much. Mr. Wilson just seems to have that knack of knowing how to make his band "swing". Joe Pass also provides some nice touches along the way too. I picked an original of this up for $10, which is a real bargain given how good the music here. Apparently all the folks that bought and enjoyed the Tone Poet haven't made the connection yet. If nothing else, give his rendition of "So What" a listen. It's a fresh take that I'm sure not too many artists have had the courage to approach.
