Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Families First (3260 Dougall Ave, Windsor, ON N9E1S6). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

His unwavering commitment to helping others is widely recognized in the numerous awards he's received over the years, including an honorary diploma from St. Clair College and a Doctor of Law from the University of Windsor, Unifor's Bud Jimmerfield Award recognizing outstanding contribution to workplace safety, the 2019 Outstanding Retired Worker of the Year Award, the Queen's Jubilee Medal, and many more.
