Princeton High School Reviews

Princeton High School offers various academic opportunities for students to get involved in, thus preparing students for college success. Various clubs and athletic activities enable students to creatively express themselves. Princeton is also a diverse school. I am quite satisfied with my experience at Princeton High School and would recommend it for any student seeking to academically challenge themselves or to build friendships with various students from different backgrounds.
Transitioning from middle school to high school; I thought that I would have a tough time fitting in at this school, but I was quickly proven wrong. PHS is a very friendly high school with many resources to satisfy your academic and personal needs. The teachers have high standards and do what they can to help their students. PHS also has one of the best sports teams and music programs in the state of Ohio. The food is decent but parents don’t often participate in matters unfortunately. Overall, PHS is a shining monument that other schools should strive to be like. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time here and I’m proud to call myself a Princeton viking.
I was not very fond of Princeton High School. I struggled with finding community within my district, which has made it a complication through the past years. I felt that I had a numerous amount of teachers who didn't connect with me on a more personal level, which left me feeling an absence of support. It has taken all four of my years at this school to learn how I work best, and the environment I need to succeed. I have overcome many challenges in every possible area; some including academics, friend and teacher relationships, and work overload. Being on the varsity soccer team here has increased my excitement for my school a little bit more. However even though I did not enjoy my high school and feel like I could have had a better experience elsewhere, I am thankful for the challenges I overcame, as I am now able to carry my skills to college for a better experience!
