Winston Churchill High School Reviews
Rating 3.78 out of 5 343 reviews
My time at Winston Churchill High School has been filled with growth and teamwork. From challenging coursework to vibrant extracurriculars, every day has brought new opportunities for learning and connection. I love the supportive community and dedicated teachers which fuel my passion for learning and inspire me to strive for excellence in all that I pursue. I am grateful for the friendships I have made so far, the lessons learned, and the memories that will last a lifetime. While the food options at Winston Churchill High School could be improved, I recognize that this is often a broader county issue beyond the school's control. Despite the limitations, I appreciate the efforts made to provide nourishing meals and understand the complexities involved in addressing this issue.
Winston Churchill high school is a part of a larger problem across the globe. instead of making their lives, useful the government forces, children and young adults to waste it on academia that they will never need to know again after they graduate. These kids could be providing for the 2 billion people without water and sanitary conditions. High school student across the world gave two meals to someone without food for every meal that they ate there would be no more world hunger. The United States federal government is an evil institution for putting this fake bs over the most important things in the world and the government is responsible for the collapse of strong men in the youth. Nowadays, kids have no ambition because the government squashed it all. All kids do these days is sink into mental illness and generally pathetic mental and physical conditions. We need a complete education overhaul.
Recently graduated, I thought the school was not bad. It is one of those better non-magnet/private schools in Maryland. Top standouts, clubs and activities: there are a good variety of clubs for students to participate in; key clubs like debate, DECA, Sci Oly are very good choices for students. Fine arts and music: Churchill is known for its strong music program due to exceptional instructors and have amazing theater productions and music concerts. Teachers are relatively okay. I don't think career readiness or academics are that great, but this more of a country problem, due to watered down curriculums and ridiculous grade inflation. When I was at Churchill I I was able to get along with classmates, but I never found a tight social circle, since most of them are formed by a Cabin John, Wayside, Beverly Farms clique, which I was not a part of. Heads up for a bit of ivy-league toxicity here. Overall a very good choice, and I can say I had a relatively positive and memorable experience.
