How reliable is the HindSight feature?

I recently bought a GoPro hero 10 and I am yet to record any footage with it. I will mostly use the camera for fishing. The last thing I want is to loose the footage of the few fish I manage to catch.

While looking around the internet, I ran into some posts of people saying that sometimes the video clips that they recorded while using hindsight was corrupted.

My 2 options to record my fishing sessions (and capture the moment a fish attacks my lure) are to either record all day or use the hindsight feature. With that in mind, I would love to hear what you guys think of the feature and especially : Did you run into any issues whatsoever while using hindsight?
