National champion | 25th national title is first championship for many players

For some, PSV's 25th national title is their first; for others, becoming champion is almost "normal. Read here how many times PSV's players became champions.

Walter Benítez

For Walter Benítez (31), it is his first championship. In return, he has won two Johan Cruijff Schalen and one TOTO KNVB Beker. The closing post also achieved a record number of clean sheets this season (18 so far).

Joel Drommel

Joël Drommel (27) is celebrating his second championship. After all, with FC Twente he finished first in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie. It is therefore his first national title at the highest level.

Boy Waterman

The man with the most experience in the current PSV squad is undoubtedly Boy Waterman. The 40-year-old goalkeeper is grabbing his fifth championship in his second term. With APOEL Nicosia he became champion of Cyprus four times.

Niek Schiks

Niek Schiks (20) is in his first season with the A-selection. PSV's 25th national title counts as his first championship.

Shurandy Sambo

For right wing defender and former PSV Academy player Shurandy Sambo (22), it is also his first championship at the highest level.

Jordan Teze

PSV's 25th national title is the first championship for Jordan Teze (24), completing his boyhood book. The defender started at PSV Academy in 2007 and made his debut for the main squad in 2018.

Armando Obispo

For Armando Obispo, it is his second championship. In fact, the PSV Academy player was part of the team that became national champions in 2017-2018.

André Ramalho

For André (32), it is his seventh championship. The Brazilian defender already grabbed six national titles with Red Bull Salzburg and is now champion of the Netherlands for the first time.

Armel Bella-Kotchap

Armel grabs his second championship with PSV, but first at the highest level. In 2021, he won the Bundesliga 2 with VfL Bochum.

Sergiño Dest

The 23-year-old Sergiño Dest completes a hat trick with his firstchampionship. With FC Barcelona he won the Copa Del Rey and with Ajax the Johan Cruijff Schaal.

Mauro Júnior

Mauro JR (25) is one of PSV's long-serving players. The Brazilian started at PSV Academy in 2017 and is now grabbing his second championship.

Olivier Boscagli

Olivier Boscagli (26) grabs his first championship. With that, the Monegasque has now grabbed six Dutch prizes: TOTO KNVB (2x) and Johan Cruijff Schaal (3x).

Patrick van Aanholt

Patrick van Aanholt (33) became Premier League champion with Chelsea in 2010. Fourteen years later, the defender grabs his second championship.

Malik Tillman

Malik Tillman (21) also picks up his second championship. The American international won the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich as well as the UEFA Champions League and the German Super Cup.

Guus Til

Guus Til (26) has now grabbed all the Dutch prizes with PSV. For the attacking midfielder, it is his first championship.

Jerdy Schouten

For the 27-year-old Jerdy Schouten, it is not only his first championship, but also his very first top prize. The midfielder was still playing for Bologna FC when PSV won the Johan Cruijff Schaal in August.

Joey Veerman

Joey Veerman (25) has now won all the Dutch top prizes. He previously won the Johan Cruijff Schaal twice and the TOTO KNVB Beker twice. It is his first championship.

Isaac Babadi

For Isaac Babadi (19), it has been a season of milestones. He made his debut for the main squad, won his first Johan Cruijff Schaal, played his first game in the UEFA Champions League and won his first championship.

Tygo Land

In his first season at the highest level, Tygo Land (18) is doing good business right away. Where some players have to wait years, the midfielder takes his first championship right away.

Ismael Saibari

Yet another Academy player in PSV's main squad, Ismael Saibari (23) completes a treble of sorts with his first championship. In July he won the Africa Cup U23, in August the Johan Cruijff Schaal and now the Eredivisie.

Richard Ledezma

Richard Ledezma (23) has also now grabbed all the Dutch top prizes. The 25th national title counts as his first championship.

Noa Lang

For the 24-year-old Noa Lang , becoming champion is the rule rather than the exception. The national title with PSV is his fifth championship. Previously he was champion with Ajax, Jong Ajax, and Club Brugge (twice).

Luuk de Jong

Back as never before: Luuk de Jong (33). The true leader of this PSV counts his fifth championship. Four times he won the Eredivisie with PSV and once with FC Twente.

Johan Bakayoko

Johan Bakayoko (21) will long remember the 2023-2024 season. The PSV Academy winger was an undisputed base player for the first time for a season, is a permanent member of the Red Devils and won his first championship.

Ricardo Pepi

Ricardo Pepi already has quite a trophy cabinet for a 21-year-old, but he has not yet won a national title. So in his first season with PSV, he wins his first championship right away.

Hirving Lozano

Hirving Lozano (28) is national champion for the second season in a row, as last year the Mexican winger became champion of Italy. In 2017-2018, he already won the Eredivisie once. So this is his third championship.
