Log for any change?

Post by GenCaffeine »

Hi! I’m new to using MikroTik, and I’m a bit confused about whether there’s a rule or log that I can configure to track every change made by a user on the router. Specifically, I want to know when someone modifies IP/Firewall/NAT settings and adds a new rule.

Is there a way to set up logging to capture these changes, including details like the timestamp, the user responsible, and the specific rule that was added? I’ve tried using a rule with the following configuration:

Chain: input
Action: log

However, it doesn’t seem to provide the information I’m looking for. Could you guide me on how to achieve this effectively?
