Is Scientology stopping John Travolta from moving on?

The insider also talked about Scientology and its influence on the star,  “Since Kelly’s passing he’s just not as connected to Scientology as he once was.”

“Bottom line, John is afraid to open up, to be vulnerable again and fall in love, which is very sad because he’s the kindest, nicest guy and he has one of the biggest hearts of anyone we know.”

Many fans anticipated a growing real-life chemistry growing between his co-star Kristen David from ‘Cash Out'.

“He’s totally smitten with her, thinks she’s adorable,” another source revealed.

“They’re both single, and they really like each other, so of course everyone wants them to date. The most surprising people on the John and Kristin romance bandwagon are John’s kids, Ella and Ben.”

They added, “While no one could replace their mom, they think Kristin is great and that their dad should get back out there and start having fun.”

When did John and Kelly meet?

Kelly and John met while filming ‘The Experts’ in 1987, and exchanged vows in 1991. The couple have a daughter, Ella Bleu, and son Benjamin.

Kelly died of breast cancer in 2020 after secretly fighting the fatal disease for almost two years.

Earlier, a source told National Enquirer, "John just needed to feel ready, and now he is. He knows Kelly wouldn't want him to spend the rest of his life alone, so he's finally allowing friends to line him up with dates.”

The source added, "John believes a matchmaker would save time by finding someone who meets his list of criteria. He's not asking for much, just that she be kind, warm, gracious, funny, and spontaneous. And being attractive wouldn't hurt."
