We were a table of 4. Excellent service! Everyone enjoyed their dinner crab cake, scallop & mussel pasta and meatloaf were all excellent as well as the cheesecake and apple torte with ice cream. The Log Cabin never fails to please.

Best surprise of my trip! Drove to Lancaster with my mom (who visits annually) for 5-days and dines at the Log Cabin every time. This was my first visit (and I’m quite particular about dining experiences). The Log Cabin team knocked it out of the park at every turn. We opted to have a drink at the bar and the host was very accommodating in adjusting our timing. This is a beautiful, quiet cabin-turned-fine dining restaurant with a stunning bar, excellent drink menu and top shelf spirit selection (courtesy of Lily the bartender), dining room(s) are cozy and quaint, service was impeccable (thanks Christine) and the menu offerings were delicious! I went in expecting a 6-7/10 experience and got a 9.9/10. Literally my only complaint was the carpaccio was a touch salty but that is me having to search for a problem. Thank you and I hope to visit again in the future.

I wanted to love my experience here but it was terrible. We ordered the pork pops and they were dry, my bfs and my duck was so salty and I love salt but this was very hard to eat. It was my mom's birthday, and I made a note in our reservation but nothing was done or even acknowledged Our server Edwin was lovely. Super attentive.

Food and drinks were excellent. 3 of us ordered steaks and they were all done exactly as ordered. My only complaint is that the bar ran out of some basics ie Bloody Mary mix. We were the last seating for Mothers Day so I get it, but it was still disappointing. Our server Mary Rose did a great job, and Jen the hostess was very friendly. It was a very enjoyable Mothers Day dinner.

Our service from Tina was phenomenal, everyone kept saying how great their meal was. The ambience was perfect, Quiet setting, Friendly staff, Perfect Mother’s Day brunch. The food was so fresh. The corn was cut off the cob. The drinks were phenomenal. Even my cocktail had a papaya leaf as the decorative touch. Everything was carefully thought out.

We chose this restaurant because most nicer restaurants in Lancaster were booked for the time slot we wanted during F&M graduation weekend. When we arrived, my graduate daughter was turned away due to wearing ripped jeans at her knee level. Let me begin by saying we frequent many high end restaurants and no one in our parties have ever been turned away due to what they were wearing. In fact, the night before we ate at a fine dining restaurant spending three times the amount, and we were not turned away when my one of the six of us arrived in ripped jeans. I’m aware ripped jeans aren’t the greatest looking but she didn’t look like a slob. We were referred to Dollar General carrying leggings!!! I asked if their attire requirements were on their website and she said most likely so I chalked it up to my mistake and drove my daughter 12 minutes away to a Target where we could purchase something a little nicer then leggings (which by the way are no nicer then ripped jeans). We discovered they indeed had no attire requirements on their website, called the restaurant and asked to help us locate the requirements and they unfortunately DID NOT have it listed. The hostess approached the 3 party members we left at the table and told them to call us to come back since it’s not listed anywhere. We had already arrived and purchased a dress to return. When we returned, they apologized to my daughter and I and offered to pay for “any dessert she would like”!! I think you could have done better than that. We did not want this to ruin her night so we continued on with dinner. Apps were ok, cocktails were great and dinner was fair. Mussels were fantastic but the sea scallops were overcooked. Crème brûlée was too think and lumpy. Did I mention someone at the table behind us was wearing sweatpants! For such a fine dining establishment, you don’t hold your “high standards” to everyone including food preparation. I had higher expectations after turning us away due to 1 clothing choice.

The Log Cabin was one of the best experiences I have had. They were very accommodating when out show at Sight and Sound ran over and we missed our reservations. We called before the time we reserved and let them know and they we were able to move us to a later time. This may seem like a simple thing to do, expect for the fact that it was Mothers Day weekend and they were booked up. Once we arrived and were seated (almost immediately) our server was kind and on top of our needs. The place was beautiful and the food was excellent. Will be coming back every year for our annual Sight and Sound trip.

Our table location was perfect, our server, Mary Rose, was excellent, and the food was delicious!! This was an anniversary celebration for a cousin from Connecticut who had never been to the Log Cabin before and it was an outstanding experience.

We had 9 friends in the speak easy space. It was a wonderful experience. The waitstaff was attentive and friendly. The menu accommodated various dietary preferences and everyone was happy with their choices. The large round table was an extra bonus as this is hard to find in Lancaster county. Overall very happy and will be back!

The food is just amazing. They deserve a Michelin star. The service fantastic. Edwin was great, knowledgeable and very good professional. The place is very interesting because of the history they have. It was noisy because we had a big table close by and they were having fun. One of the best restaurants I ever went.

Every time we go to the Log Cabin, we always say, “ we have to come here more often!” The jazz trio playing in the lounge was top notch, the food and service were excellent. MJ is doing great as a new server! Wine list is decent… could be better. But that is the only area where there is room for improvement (more old world please) The rest is solid and delicious. We even enjoy eating at the bar! Thanks for another great experience Log Cabin!

Food and service was excellent. We did have one issue with the food. For apps, I had the Carpaccio which was excellent, however my wife had the Shrimp Cocktail and found the shrimp to be "gummy". Our service informed the mgr who came to our table, apologized and took it off the bill. As an entree I had the Blackened Salmon Oscar. The salmon was cooked perfectly, the hollandaise and crab were just as good, however the accompanying brie pearled couscous "risotto" was slightly overcooked, but good flavor. My wife had the Crackling Pork Shank “Osso Buco which she thoroughly enjoyed. Our server Eric was friendly and efficient.

The only reason the noise level was high was because they had a birthday party in the same room and they were very noisy. Otherwise we really enjoyed the experience . Definitely will be going back.

Everything about our meal at the Log Cabin last night was wonderful! Such a unique dining experience within the beautiful old logs of the cabin section, and our waitress, Leah, was the best - knowledgeable, friendly and fun! We had a party of 4, and all of our drinks and dishes came well-recommended and delicious. Cocktails were refreshing and perfectly prepared. Our entree dishes included the salmon, filet, the flounder special, and mine was the exceptional scallops and mussels pasta. We tasted each other’s; all were very tasty! Then we all passed around and shared several of the desserts; the winner hands down being the Caramel Sticky Pudding. We all highly recommend the Log Cabin for a lovely evening of dining!

Everything was terrific, the kitchen did run out of some of the menu choices and it was quit busy which delayed food and drink delivery but over all a very positive experience.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversaryat The Log Cabin and could not have had a better evening. Classy live entertainment played standards while the bar made excellant cocktails and chef killed it with amazing food. Can not wait to return soon.

Our meals were delicious. Bread was a little off, but no other complaints. Our server, while lovely was a little rough around the edges. Didn't serve from the left. Table wasn't cleared at one time but rather individually as each diner was finished. Just need a little polish. Environment and ambience were lovely.
