Princess Beatrice is Queen Elizabeth's fifth grandchild.
Princess Beatrice, the eldest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, grew up in the public eye. When she was born, she was fifth in the line of the succession to the British throne, but over the years, she is now 9th, as the royal family continues to grow. Beatrice, too, has started a brood of her own in recent years. In 2020, she married Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in a small private ceremony at Windsor, and in 2021, they welcomed a daughter, Sienna. Upon the death of her grandmother Queen Elizabeth, Princess Beatrice became a Counsellor of State—and eligible to represent her uncle, King Charles, on official duties.
