I do not really want to see any change. I am attending a very good high school. It’s public so not everything is fancy like a private school. I really enjoy my experience at Curtis because I feel very safe and the teachers and staff make me feel welcome. I am not a very social person and I am very aware of who I hangout with so I do not experience bullying or bad influences. The best part are the teachers. I put so much trust in them and I look up to them a lot. They are the main reason I can feel safe around the school and I’m really glad my highschool chooses the right teachers hire. My worst experience is when I was cat called by a couple of guys who were also students. But teachers can’t always control the student behavior. In response to the actions of those boys the assistant principal took his time to stand outside and make sure that there was no one else who was harassing. Overall, my school is very good in making students feel safe and thrive the best way possible.
From my years at CHS so far, my only generalized complaint is the buildings themselves, specifically the California Campus architecture. Everything else at Curtis is pretty remarkable, and I am lucky to have such an incredible school backing me and my academic pursuits. I would highly recommend attending Curtis if you're especially interested in STEM, athletics, and an incredible faculty team.
Great Place! Everyone was super nice there! Was able to express my true self without being afraid of being judged.
