Federal Center Southwest is a Washington Metro station in Washington, DC on the Blue and Orange Lines. It is also scheduled to be on the Silver Line route, which is scheduled to start operations in 2011.
The station is located in Southwest Washington in an area crowded with federal buildings, giving it its name, and is located at 3rd and D Streets. Service began on July 1, 1977.
