In 1959, Frank and Tina D'Ambrosio decided to start a new restaurant venture along with their "Paisans" Mario and Enza Volpe, after Frank had much success with his first restaurant, the original "Frankie, Johnnie, and Luigi Too! In Mountain View, CA. Named after a good friend of theirs, they opened the original "Giorgio's" in the Foxworthy Shopping Center in San Jose, CA. One year later, cousins Anthony and Louise Dambruoso, affectionately known to the family as "Sash and Lou", took control of the restaurant and ran it for the next eight years. Pictures and paintings of these folks still grace the walls of the establishment today. In 1968, Frank's four sons assumed control of the restaurant and still own and operate it to this day. In 1997 they opened a second location in Milpitas, CA, where they still offer the highest standard of quality food, service, and value to their customers. Bon Appetit!!

Food was ok but service was terrible. Took forever to get our order taken. Server got my son’s order wrong. Took forever to get the check. Took forever to get the check picked up. The only thing that didn’t take long was calculating how much tip to leave.

We were a party of 4...introducing our friends to our neighborhood restaurant. The food is always good. The service is almost always good to great. However, last night, our service was not so great. Two of us ordered dinners that had either soup or salad; the other 2 ordered from other parts of the menu. Here's how the food came out of the kitchen: soup for the Chicken Marsala dinner came first....4-5 minutes later, house salad to go with crab cakes and one for the chicken cacciatore, 3 minutes later, calzone (no first course ordered), 3 minutes later, crab cakes while I was just starting on my salad, 15 - 20 minutes later, the 2 main course dishes. The soup and salads should have come out first, then the main courses (chicken marsala, chicken cacciatore, crab cakes and calzone). Disappointing when we had guests. While they enjoyed their food, the service was horrible, so I doubt they will want to come back.

Great food and service. The ambiance is a bit noisy, but that's because the food is great and people like to eat there. Brightly lit and comfortable. Nice for special occasions.

Everything here was exceptionally tasty. We had the lasagna, Sicilian salad, and cannoli We especially liked our server,. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. She made our experience really great!

Food is always good and consistent. This time cioppino could have used a little more seasoning but was very good and not skimpy on the fish at all. Pizza was delicious as usual.
