Indiana Lyrics
[Verso 1]
¿Qué te he hecho yo? (Oh oh, Indiana)
Nunca que me he portado mal contigo niña (Oh oh, Indiana)
¡Dios mío! ¿Qué te he hecho yo? (Oh oh, Indiana)
Te dejará por ahí, se irá al templo maldito
Y volverás a mí
[Verso 2]
Indiana, Indiana, Indiana, Indiana
¿No sabes decir otra cosa? Ya me tienes hasta la banana
Ya he visto 14 veces la película, me estás torturando con la música
Voy al Rastro a cambiar los cromos de tu colección del álbum
[Estribillo]
¡Del álbum de Indiana Jones! (Oh oh, Indiana)
No puedo soportar tu barbita de cuatro días (Oh oh, Indiana)
Suelta el látigo y verás, (Oh oh, Indiana)
Dale gracias a Dios que tienes gafas Indiana (Oh oh, Indiana)
¡Uh! Indiana (Oh, Indiana)
¡Uh! Indiana (Oh, Indiana)
¡Uh! Indiana
¡Uh! Indiana, Indiana, Indiana, Indiana (Oh, Indiana) Indiana
About
In 1985 the Hombres G were THE GROUP. In Spain appear at a time when the fan phenomenon was debated among the second generation of melodic singers, profile very different from the previous one (ambiguous kids versus seventies Latin lovers), the recently disappeared Tequila, and the commitment to modernity of the famous movida. Men G, starting from an underground roll that has always sounded like a self-justifying legend (like when El Canto del Loco says they sounded at first on Radio 3), they produce on their first album a simple pop, with simple structures and machacones refrains, peta the radios of all Spain and soon of all Latin America, where immediately it is said that they are “bigger than the Beatles”.
The release of his second album takes place in 1986, with very high initial release figures. The album, “La Cagaste … Burt Lancaster”, which gave so much game in terms of phrases made for a long time, was another resounding success and for which this writes, the best of all those that were released. 8 of the 10 songs were very, very popular, three of them were edited as a single and one of them came out in Boom 2 (there was a time when being in the Boom meant that the song had been a jitazo, especially the songs that were on Face A of disk 1).
One of those songs that were released as a single was “Indiana”. Curiously, a song with a strangely conjunctural vocation (to take advantage of the success of a movie released a year earlier to add some familiarity to a song) has become one of the most beloved performances by the group’s fans.
“Indiana”, already entering the song itself, is a fresh, immediate theme, which brings together the main virtues of Hombres G as a commercial group, that is: a funny lyrics with a hooligan point, references to current affairs, forced rhymes, an addictive melody, a soft voice of ICADE child and a guitar solo. I think all its more or less popular songs combine these characteristics.
