A bit pricy but a fun afternoon in a scenic setting
Even though I think the prices are a bit steep for the basic self-guided tour, the surroundings are beautiful and also unusual enough to take many photos. I appreciate the owners keeping the attractions as natural as possible given safety constraints and keeping it free of litter. Seeing the cave swimmers may have made my opinion on the price change and I hope that they return. Overall, I enjoyed my time there and recommend the splurge.
Glad you enjoyed your time here 😊.

Great easy to navigate trails and fabulous rock and fossil shop
We did the self guided tour because many of the caves were closed due to excessive rainfall. It did not disappoint! Well marked trails, neat outlooks on waterfalls, and a fabulous rock and fossil shop! Very inexpensive for families and a lot of fun!
Still exciting with the high water. Glad you enjoyed your visit.

Time with Mother Nature and fresh air.
I had the opportunity to visit Natural Stone Bridge and Caves with 3 girl friends. It was a great way to spend time together enjoying the beauty of rock formations, caves and sounds of waterfalls. It invites you to slow down and take time to enjoy a slice of Mother Nature at her finest. Natural Stone Bridge and Caves is well maintained and cared for with friendly and welcoming staff. I will definitely be back.
Thank you. We take pride in maintaining and providing an enjoyable, welcoming experience.

    Fun Snowshoe Adventure in Winter
This is such a great find! It's a must-do any time of year but winter is my favorite! I bring my out of town family and friends here every year to snow shoe and the experience is always fantastic! No one in our party has snowshoes so being able to rent what you need is definitely a plus. The scenery is breathtaking, and the hikes manageable. There are even s'mores at the end! In addition, the family that owns and manages the property are really kind and make you feel very welcome. Highly recommend!
So glad we can provide a fun enjoyable winter experience for your friends and family.

Best day of our visit to Lake George
An absolute must visit when you're in the Lake George NY region. Definitely grab one of the walking sticks at the beginning of the tour because the paths are rocky and steep in some areas. Highly recommend!

With this being a covid year things are different. It was my first visit and they practiced safe precautions. All wearing masks and you have to reserve your 1 hour spot days in advance. 1 hour is all all you need and gives you more space with less people for better photo opportunities. Beautiful nature preserve. Short one way around a loop hike but not paved and rock steps if you are not capable of your own bodies. There are walking sticks if u need at the start of the trail.

Having visited here 30 years ago with my kids, it was time to go with the grandkids ages 4 and 6. The experience was just as wonderful for them and even better for me. The paths were well laid out and the railings provided improved support and safety. The 1 hour time table to complete the trail was a perfect amount of time for kids. There were reasonable options at the gift shop for a souvenir though popping a geode was a highlight for my little ones.

We came here twice during the summer and then again during March. All three experiences were excellent. Well-kept trails, kind staff, and fun activities. Great for a day-time date. We loved snowshoeing; the trails were beautiful and quiet, and it was so nice to be able to rent snowshoes for an affordable price. At the end, they had a little COVID-safe marshmallow roasting set up, and it was great to get warm by a fire—a fun outdoor activity for all ages for sure.

We were pleasantly surprised by this place. We didn't know about this place until we went past the big sign. Decided to check it out. It was so much better then I thought it would be. If you are a rock enthused person, this is your place. They had so many different kinds on display - petrified, million years old rocks. They had a walkway to do a self-guided tour. There was some beautiful small waterfalls and the caves were just fascinating to climb into. They kept you directed on the path. You walk out and they give you a walk through a small room museaum of the founder of the Natural Bridge. They had a cute dinosaur area for the kids (and ahem me). There is a rock gift shop along a regular gift shop that I spent way more money in then I would have at any other gift shop. All in all we spent 3 hrs there and we only thought it was going to be a quick in and out place. We felt it was worth the money. To me i would go back again!!!

Greg- an owner (an 8th generation family business) greeted us with a warm smile and thoroughly explained the ease, difficulty and beauty of the trails, the markings (the trails are very well marked) and what to look for. Snowshoe rentals are available - and you can only do the trails with snowshoes. Poles are also available.
We spent a little over an hour on a yellow trail and plan to go back to conquer the red & blue and bring more family.
Note - no dogs allowed and very clean porta potty near trailhead

Enjoyable for all ages. You do not need to be in shape as it is only 3/4 miles long. It takes about 45min. with picture stops. The drive there is quick and easy. There is a little gift shop and cafe with fast food type of food and of course candy. The bathrooms aren't the cleanest but still useable as long as you limit what you touch in there. Just take your time and you will enjoy it. There are benches along the way to sit down at.

COVID-19 Safety: They do require you to wear masks at all times but this is not monitored at all. Some families decided not to wear masks and due to the narrow one way path you can not step aside within a safe distance for them to pass you or you to pass them. You will breath on eachother.

NOTE: This place is not suitable for people who can't walk or have a hard time walking as you have to be able to bend/duck under an arched rock and the ground is uneven natural earth. There are some narrow spots so someone who is very large may not be able to push through.

Thanks for enjoying your visit and recommendation. It is fun for all ages. Not sure how we missed on the restrooms as we clean and disinfect them throughout the day. Also we only require masks in the gift shop and also on the tour when 6' distancing is not possible. We remind everyone as they start the tour to do so and to remind others if they forget to do so if passing close to others. We do also check the tour at times to monitor. We have observed that most folks are complying and we have only had to remind a few groups. It seems to be getting progressively better as folks are getting used to this new normal.

Great place to visit, especially with kids! The walk through the chasm is beautiful! We visited there is early September, so it wasn't crowded. If you go during the summer months, or any time kids are on school break, you should plan to get there early to avoid the crowds. Anyone who has trouble walking or climbing stairs should know that it may be more difficult to go through the chasm. If you're interested in the Adventure Walk, know in advance that it requires upper body strength, dexterity, and balance. If you're the least bit afraid of heights, skip the Adventure Walk and stick to the Rim Trail Walk. Overall, this was one of the best sites we saw on our trip to the Adirondacks.

I came early September with several family members. We purchased many tickets and it was expensive. When we were waiting at the area for mining, one employee addressed me in a rude way telling me that I could not go to the caveman and I needed to wait for my group’s time. I told the employee that I was just going to take a picture (everyone else in that area was taking pictures and hanging there), and she kept saying that I had to wait outside for my time. I understood that I had to wait for my time to go down and visit the site, however, this was an area full of small activities and it was open to guests before and after the visit of the caves. I was surprised also because there were small vendors there and they definitively want people to look at things there and buy from them. That rude woman ruined the trip for me and my family. My husband asked if we could buy a bag of treasures for my kids to mine and another employee said yes and sold it to him. That person was nice and allowed my kids to go to the area o mining. That’s when we understood that the woman who was rude with me had absolutely no reason to be rude or to tell me to get out of that area. I hope they train that woman and other employees because this is a touristic attraction that has some nice caves but it is not phenomenal enough on its own. It need improvement in costumer service and options for food.

Sorry for your experience, I have passed this info to our staff as we never want anyone to experience anything rude. We have had to implement a number of changes to deal with Covid and we found from experience this summer that the key to having all the changes work is to stick to the changes and not make exceptions. Depending upon the usage of the trail and entrance area we have to limit access of these areas to those returning from the trail. There are no other vendors here, it is all part of one family run operation. The options for food were reduced due to to Covid and we had to cancel a number of other options such as Adventure Tours, Dino Dig, Climbing Walls etc. Please give us another chance sometime in the future and after Covid times.

Make sure you make a reservation before you go! We didn’t and had to leave and come back a few hours later. Stairs and paths can be narrow, steep and/or one way only, so be careful if there are accessibility concerns. Can’t imagine managing walkways without timed reservations, feels like it could get too crowded without them. Shops were cute and staff was friendly; plenty of space to bring a picnic lunch.

Glad you enjoyed it 😊 and there are several changes we made for Covid that will continue after it is over, including limited tickets per hour so it doesn't get too crowded.
