Honestly WSU has a lot of programs that are incredibly beneficial for those wanting to excel. I chose it over UW because of its affordability and WSU having a better program for my major. the only disappointing part the fact that it feels like the university someone embraces/ignores the parties and underage drinking, even when students die or are hospitalized due to alcohol poisoning. I knew a couple people who went here and had to drop out with large amounts of debt due to the constant partying. It's a great school if you end up going for the right reasons
I have loved my experience at WSU Pullman. I love the atmosphere, the people, and the general culture that encompasses the campus. Everyone I have met has been super nice and welcoming and so are the professors. Now, not all the professors are great, but there are some amazing ones. The sport life here is amazing and the atmosphere and energy at games is unreal. There is a Greek/party scene, but it is not necessary in terms of meeting great people.
I like the school overall, there are a lot a lot of nice professors, but I don't think a many can teach well. I will be a Jr Year Architecture student next year with two more years of school. I have made it into the program and am really excited to continue studying and practicing design. I like the environment of everyone at WSU because there is 44 people in our class together and most of the student are in every class for architecture now that im done with all the UCORE classes.
There are all different kinds of people being at Washington State because I feel that there is a large diversity of cultures here as well as a lot of people from other states. I enjoy the sports here, I go to many games. I would like to see the campus be more friendly to being able to get on campus because there is so little parking options be people far from campus.

I have loved being a student at WSU! The campus is beautiful and there is always something fun going on! Being a transfer student I wasn't sure how I would enjoy the school, but it has really been everything I could have hoped for and more! Athletics are so much more fun to watch than I would have expected, whether that be baseball, basketball, or football, there is always a crowd! I love the area and the access students have to so much within walking distance. Pullman is an amazing campus, one that gets you a good workout while walking around while also providing a beautiful view.
This is a beautiful campus with great professors who truly care about teaching you and furthering your education. The only issues I see are that I feel like the funds that the school has are not going to the right places.
I love how Washington state feels like a home away from home, it has that small-town feel, and you can connect with your community quickly.
I've really enjoyed the campus here. It's pretty, fairly well-maintained, and quite walkable. There are also many student amenities, including a couple of gyms, several food options aside from dining halls, and many study areas. I would, however, like to see parking options and prices get better.
Overall, my experience with Washington State University has been positive, reflecting its commitment to academic excellence, research innovation, and community engagement. One notable aspect of the WSU experience is its strong emphasis on research and innovation. The university is home to numerous research centers and institutes, where faculty and students collaborate on cutting-edge research projects that address pressing global challenges and contribute to advancements in various fields. WSU also boasts a vibrant campus life, with a diverse student body, numerous student organizations, and a wide range of extracurricular activities and events. Additionally, the university is well-known for its programs in agriculture, veterinary medicine, and communication.
The Animal Science Department literally fell apart this year with 6 or 7 professors/faculty leaving. They have no support or plan for the production management side of the department and I was told there isn't enough classes for me to even graduate in my major. They also got rid of the forestry program earlier this year along with budget cuts to the college of Ag as a whole. The campus life is one of a kind and its amazing and the spirit is alive and well but the school cant seem to support the actual reason were all here, to get an education so I transferred, and if you plan on doing something related in the agriculture field its best to find some where else to go, there is no support here for the discipline.
I enjoy going to WSU Tri-Cities. The campus is small and located in a great location within Richland WA. The staff is among the best thing about the campus, they are supportive, encouraging, and enjoy hanging out with the students. The student body works through social media to help promote free food, prizes, and group meetings. Overall, I feel like WSU Tri-Cities is a great option for students who do not want to live in Pullman or attend a larger university.
I liked the scenery the campus has, especially during early fall and spring time. There's a lot of places around the campus that has great views. The buildings and structures are also very beautiful. There's a lot of places you could go to, and overall just an amazing place to explore. The people here are very nice and is a good community to be involved with. There is also a lot of different resources given to you when you need help with a specific thing. There's a wide variety of programs and clubs you could join. The thing that I like the most is the opportunities this university gives and also the range of experience you can gain from these different programs.

I loved the inviting environment provided by anyone and everyone. You will feel safe and welcome here. Everyone just wants to have fun, enjoy college, and graduate. We all are striving to reach our goals, and everyone recognizes and supports that. The atmosphere on game days is something I wish everyone could experience. The vibes, the joy and happiness all around there is so much fun to be had here.
I like the inclusivity offered at this campus without question. No matter my background, I knew I would be accepted by all of my professors and peers. There are so many resources available for students as well!
I highly recommend that students who plan on attending WSU should do their research before joining. I have been studying here for two years, and I have noticed a significant decline in the quality of education and campus life. Firstly, everything about this campus is average and dull - from food to extracurricular activities and student-led organizations. Additionally, there is very little diversity on campus between minority and white students (despite what the online data may suggest), so this should be taken into account. One of the significant issues I have faced at WSU is the lack of support for first-generation minority students like me. We often feel ignored and treated differently compared to our peers. Therefore, I highly recommend that you consult with others and research thoroughly before deciding to attend WSU Pullman. Your college experience is limited, so please make it count and make the best decision!
I like being able to find people and organizations I can connect with effortlessly. You do have to go outside and talk, but once you get out of that stage you start to become more relaxed and easy going. Being able to roam around campus and socialize gives you a sense of freedom that was not previously available because it allows you to be yourself.
What I would like to see change is maybe cheaper parking passes. Although it is a one time purchase per semester/year, I still find it a bit challenging to afford one. It is said that you do not need a car to get around campus, however it is difficult to get anywhere whether on or off campus.

I would recommend Washington State for anyone. They have any program that anyone could want to get into with different locations and online courses that is helpful for full-time or part-time students.
Overall I enjoyed my time at WSU. It's a large campus with a lot of diversity, and there's a space for you if you can find it. The dining hall food is alright, and if you don't like it, there's options across campus that take RDA. Housing depends on the dorm you get, but it is very expensive.
This is my first time away from home, and let me just tell you, I absolutely love it here. I have absolutely fallen in love with Eastern Washington and am considering moving here permanently. I am originally from Western Washington, but have come over to this side of the mountains for vacations, but actually living here for school has really changed my life. I love how rich the agriculture and opportunities over here are. I love that there are still some trees, but it is also very open. The sunrises and sunsets are my favorite. I have lived on the water my entire life, so when I came over here, it was a complete culture shock, but in a good way. I will always love my home in Western Washington, but there is just something magical about being over here. I feel like I finally belong somewhere, and I am so incredibly happy. I have met some of the most amazing people, and gained new friends. I feel like I have so much more potential over here and I plan to explore it all!
I really like WSU…however, the location of the campus itself is a little boring once you get used to all the things you can do on campus. There is not much to do downtown after 5 PM, and if you don’t have a car, the bus is really your only choice unless you wanna walk all the way to downtown Pullman.
I do really enjoy the campus from the scenery aspect of things. It’s easy to know where you are going and what you need to do to get to class. Sometimes, I get a feeling of cabin fever, however, as I feel a little bit trapped sometimes, but with full time school and friends, it makes it a little more manageable.
The whole town explodes on football game days in the best way so that is kinda cool! :)
If you are looking for a city college, this is NOT your place. But if you want a quiet/big feeling to college, WSU could be the place for you!
