The title sequence begins with a shot of the White Tower at the Tower of London in EC3.

The titles continue as a tour is guided around the Wakefield or Jewel Tower by a Yeoman Warder. Looking westward through the archway of the Middle Tower.

As Tourists gaze at the Crown Jewels, the Yeoman Warder explains that a modern alarm system makes the tower burglar-proof. Facing St. Thomas's Tower and Traitor's Gate from beneath the Bloody Tower.

Listening to the Yeoman Warder using advanced technology, Martin focuses on the Tower through his telescope.

In a Rolls Royce, wealthy businessman Trayne travels through London with his secretary Miss Joyner. Ludgate Hill EC4 with St Paul's Cathedral to the right.

The Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith comes to a stand outside the apartment block were Martin and Dinah are waiting with Graham. The building to the right is named St. George's House and Steve Randall found it on Wood Street EC2.

John (Anthony James) opens the door and, as they get out of the car, Hope Joyner (Catherine Schell) tells Trayne (Albert Lieven) that she'll get a taxi to the office to start writing up his letters. Steve Randall identifies this as facing southward on Wood Street.

Looking across the road, Trayne tells Hope that she hasn't recognised where they are. Looking towards the Tower of London from the north-west with the Devereux Tower to the left.

When the Rolls pulls away, Trayne calls to John who has been asked to return in an hour. The pavement outside St. George's House on Wood Street EC2, located by Steve Randall.

Offering to take Trayne's briefcase, Hope pays a visit to the Tower of London where her fiancé Dick is a Guardsman while her boss watches through Martin's telescope. Looking from inside the Tower of London towards Tower Bridge.

At the rear of the Dandy Club, Hector spots Kane (Klaus Kinski) bundle the body of King, a cell-mate of of Graham's, into the boot of a car.

Dinah Pawling (Margot Trooger) moves to get into the car as Kane closed the boot.

Hector hides before being returning to the club and leaving after being spotted by Kane.

That evening at the Tower of London, Dick takes part in the Ceremony of the Keys as Trayne's Gang practice breaking into a mock-up of the Jewel Tower. Tower Wharf with Henry III Water Gate on the right.

Lieutenant Dick Lee-Carnaby (Gary Raymond) takes duty the next day. The Entrance Court of The Charterhouse in London EC1 with Master's Court and the entrance to the Great Hall visible through the archway.

Dinah and a suitably disguised Graham (Gary Raymond) visit the Tower of London and take cine film of the Guards. Recognising Dinah from the previous day, Hector follows when she and Graham move on. Looking towards Master's Court at the Charterhouse, a Grade I listed former monastery in EC1.

Emerging into a courtyard, Hector is grabbed by Graham. Washhouse Court at the Charterhouse on Charterhouse Square in Farringdon.

Hector frees himself when a Yeoman Warder (Frank Sieman) approaches and he asks questions about the Tower's history while following the Beefeater through the courtyard. Washhouse Court within the Charterhouse on Charterhouse Square EC1.

Graham and Dinah make their way to Buckingham Palace so that the convict can observe his double, Dick Lee-Carnaby. Facing Buckingham Palace at the south-western end of The Mall in SW1.

Dick is watched at the barracks. Chelsea Barracks stood on Chelsea Bridge Road SW1 but closed in 2008.

The Lieutenant's Regiment marches through the streets. Facing Ebury Bridge House at the junction of Pimlico Road, Buckingham Palace Road, Ebury Bridge and Ebury Bridge Road in SW1 with the Union public house at the corner of Ranelagh Grove in the right background.

Trayne sends Hope off for a weekend in Paris. The sign gives away the location as facing north-east on Great West Road in Brentford, Middlesex with the M4 Motorway under construction in the background.

Becoming suspicious when the Rolls turns off the main road, Hope asks John where they are as this isn't the road to the airport. Looking north-west towards the junction of Great West Road and Boston Manor Road with the Macleans factory to the extreme left.

John pushes a button to close the screen between the front and back seats before gas is released, knocking Hope out. Boston Manor Road in Brentford. The Macleans factory in the left background was demolished in 1997.

Hearing a car horn, a ship's Mate (Harry Baird) comes out of the warehouse where John has taken Hope. Looking west along Swan Street in Isleworth, Middlesex.

Getting out of the taxi, Hector watches it disappear after being short changed by the Cabbie. Hector dives for cover when the warehouse doors are opened. An unnamed alley off the north side of Swan Street in Isleworth. The area has been redeveloped.

In a garage, Kane waits for Dinah to arrive with Hope.

Having captured Hector near the warehouse, John watches the Mate take him aboard a ship at the docks.

Using Hope to distract Dick from his duties before replacing him with Graham, Trayne's plot to break into the Tower begins.

Following the Ceremony of the Keys, Graham keeps the keys to open the door of the Jewel Tower. The Clock Tower of the Palace of Westminster, now the Elizabeth Tower, in SW1.

After a double-cross, Daphne and Graham take the jewels and drive away with Kane and Hope.

Warning Daphne and Graham that a police car is following, Kane escapes from the Rolls Royce.

The crook gets up from the pavement and runs for cover.

Stealing a car, Kane arrives at the airfield where a helicopter is waiting.

Taking off, the helicopter flies over London. Looking down onto the Palace of Westminster with Parliament Square to the top centre.

The ship leaves port with Dinah, Graham and Hope on board along with Dick and Hector as prisoners in the hold.

Kane's helicopter follows the ship along the Thames. Tower Bridge crossing the river between E1 and SE1.
