New Canaan High School Reviews
Rating 4.14 out of 5 197 reviews
New Canaan High School will forever have a significant impact on the way I see the world. They offered me countless opportunities and put me in a safe place where I could thrive. I was able to successfully prosper at NCHS with academics, friends, and friendly relations with the teachers. It was an overall great experience and little change is needed.
I have been here all four years. I can genuinely say that New Canaan High School is a great school with wonderful opportunities. There is always a ton going on all over school and there's so many different people. Teachers care about their students and are always willing to help when you have questions. There are programs for people who struggle and classes of all levels. Although many of the people are the same, I can say that they have a lot of diversity when it comes to the type of students that go here. Parents are involved, teachers are involved and this school definitely sets you up if you take advantage of the opportunities offered to you. The majority of this school is competitive when it comes to things like college and grades which can be hard but if you surround yourself with the right people you can drown that out. So many great facilities whether you're a theater kid or you're on the football team, you have something to put your energy into if you take advantage of it.
Overall, it is a great public school. As long as you reach out, resources are readily avaliable. The rigor and academic options prepare you well for college.
