We were surprised to find a 2 x £10 “stage charge” added to our bill and not previously flagged in any of the booking info. The band singer clearly had a cold and wasn’t the best and seemed to repeat songs during the set. Drinks and service good however.

I rated the service poor not because of our waiter Logan who was excellent but because my daughter ordered us a surprise bottle of Prosecco. It was given to another table obviously with our knowledge. To add insult to injury she requested a refund and was short changed by 3 pound 75p which was a service charge a service we never received just ridiculous. Two weeks on she is still chasing Bert's Bar for a full refund. This has soured what was a very enjoyable night

Overall, a really pleasant experience. Key host was excellent and attentive. Moments of being rushed though as we were recommended to order a nibbles starter as the main would be at least 25 mins. Nibbles arrived but then the main arrived 5 mins later. Moments of surprise with other diners with a range of dress codes. A stronger guideline of smart-casual dress code should be stipulated as there were some with sportswear which was surprising considering the ambience and high end expectation of Bert’s, reflective in the price point.

I love this place, amazing staff that couldn't do enough for us, great atmosphere and amazing food and wine. Went for my birthday, came back for my dad's birthday, he was so happy about the experience.

Bert’s Jazz Bar and restaurant was outstanding, the Jazz evening on a Sunday from 8pm-11pm is great. The shared Camembert starter followed by the Beef was again superfluously outstanding!! The ambience, service and quality is 5***.

What an absolute treat! We enjoyed the best evening at Berts, fantastic food, drinks and entertainment! Wonderful atmosphere, would highly recommend!!

We had a truly wonderful evening at Berts. The food was delicious and the cocktails divine. Hubby is still raving about how amazing his French onion soup was. The staff were attentive and we mustn’t forget to mention the music from the amazing band playing that night. We will definitely visit again when we are in Belfast.

Very disappointed. Waitress came to us and told that we have to leave soon, even my husband had half of cheese board left and half bottle of vine. She lifted cheese board , and just walked away. We were in lots of restaurants all over a world and never been treated like that. Do not recommend.

We had a beautiful meal, my only criticism would be that the dessert portions were very small. The service was fantastic, very attentive, nice cocktails. The jazz band were great, as was the decor and ambience. It was a special meal, in a brilliant place.

At time of booking there was no mention of a table charge of £10 per person for the jazz band. If I’m having dinner I would expect not to pay extra for the table. Table beside us also annoyed at the unexpected charge. Service was ok but water spilt on table with no apology or attempt to clean it up. Not offered dessert menu either. Food selection bit limited. Mash potatoes were cold and overall felt food should be better for price being charged. Jazz band was good and creates nice atmosphere.

Had a fantastic meal and the live jazz band were fantastic! Didn’t intend it being a long night as I had work the next day but we were there until midnight! Will definitely go again. Just wish the other diners had appreciated the band more

Myself and my partner stumbled across Bert’s a few years ago while looking for a nice place to have a drink and we instantly fell in love with the place. When our friends suggested we take a trip to Belfast for my partner’s birthday, we said we’d have to go to Bert’s for his birthday dinner. I couldn’t have been happier with the great service, the lovely staff, the unreal food and the amazing band that played. They made us all feel so special and even had a little mini cake and with a candle for the occasion. My partner was delighted and we can’t wait to go back!

Went to Berts to celebrate a birthday and Valentines and it certainly did not disappoint. Food was excellent, the Chateaubriand was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. The staff were very friendly and very attentive. After our meal the server arrived with coffee cake as an added birthday treat from the chef. Live jazz music was very good and made the whole experience! I would recommend this to anyone.

We went here for the day after valentines for dinner and drinks and was such a treat! The camembert was delicious and the charcuterie board too. We were tempted by dessert and the crème brûle was good and the baked Alaska too. The wine was on the pricey side for a glass but the whole atmosphere and decor added to the experience. Glad we went and would reccomend for a special occasion. Romantic.

One of the best nights in Bert’s, it was special from the moment we walked in. Fantastic table in the corner at the stage. Service was impeccable, food outstandingly delicious, and the three person band was a fantastic surprise as it was a singer Catherine, with a guy on the piano and another guy on the harp. Can’t wait to go back.

Ambiance was amazing and really set the mood for Valentine’s Day with my lovely lady. From the music to the lighting, perfect. Couldn’t fault the service very attentive and managed to sway us to stay for one more drink and enjoy the music more. We found the food to be pretty good think it was just down to what we ordered not being our particular preference but would 100% recommend!
