Hazbin Hotel is a comedy/musical adult animated series created by Vivienne Medrano.
Isn't Valentino's outfit just his wings? (Spoiler?)
As seen in episode 4, Valentino put out the fire with his wings, revealing his outfit underneath the other one. But is there a chance that the wings are his outfit, or is there more to this?
The red coat he wears most of the time is actually his wings (don’t ask how the sleeves work), but he does wear clothes underneath, and he sometimes has them as more of a cape than a coat.
the sleeves are one thing, but I have SO many questions about the proportions of the coat - each wing could probably wrap around him 1.5-2 times, and yet the coat has the black-and-white trim meeting at the front center torso and no extra material??
I assume he uses some sort of magic to make them look how he wants. We’ve seen characters modify their bodies at will (Angel’s arms, Vaggie’s wings) so it doesn’t seem outside of his capabilities.
Yeah Angel seamlessly hides his 7th and 8th arms
His wings form the red coat he's always seen wearing prior to this scene
I think clothes are kind of immaterial in hazbin. Angel's 3rd set of arms come through his shirt with sleeves.
Given that he seems to carry 6 machine guns at all times, I assume angel’s blazer has like some kind of bag of holding quality lol
Yeah. That's mindfuck, I know. XD But they are wings
Ok but how the FUCK do his sleeves work
Dude must be boiling
Doubt it. If you've ever touched moth wings, those things are thin. Even with fluff, they're light as paper.
At best his wrists are sweaty & itchy from the fur.
Imagine always having a coat on
His coat is his wings, it's kinda confusing, but I like it. I want to see the transformation actually animated, to make it make sense, but I can imagine how the corners wrap around his arms to make sleeves. It could also probably be magic like how Charlie and Lucifer's horns and wings grow. I saw this really cute fanart of the Vees once where Valentino's wings were like a big soft blanket draped over him. It was adorable.
Yeah, it's the same with Lucifer's coat. It's an interesting little design detail.
Lucifer's coat aren't his wings - we can see in Episodes 5 and 8, that they are a seperate thing that just manifest when he wants them to. His coat is just that - actual clothes.
Lucifer's wings work the same way Vaggie's do - they can just be hidden, when not needed.
Ah, okay.
It is?
I'm pretty sure.
