Always love to walk here whenever we visit iloilo. There are people fishing in the river too. And the place is not so crowded. There are some people jogging and walking around but not so crowded.

The inside of the Church is being renovated. So need to be careful when walking around. I think it’s going to be more beautiful…

Interesting walk through time. Wish it were curated better.

This was a centuries-old house that was transformed into a literally living museum. There were many things to like, such as the aunties who took us around with pride, the nicely preserved pieces from the house, and of course, the thick and rich tsokolate-eh (tsokolate espresso, as opposed to the watered down tsokolate ah or tsokolate agua).

However, the entire experience could use a wise dose of curation and a better rendition of the story of the house and the people who lived there. There were just too many things strewn around that one loses the sense of the story of the place, instead, it felt like one stepped inside a hoarder’s house. Iloilo has such a deep story and this house would have had a deeper emotional impact if visitors were made aware of its place in the story of Iloilo.

Spectacular visual and celebrative experience of Phillipine culture--exhibiting historical and religious customs in song, music, costume, dance, expressiveness-- exercising extraordinary energy.
Seeing Alamat and Janine Berdine at the Coke Studio was exciting. We didn't stay late enough to see Kultura after 10:00 PM.
My dear niece, Miss LYN, or SUNSHINE as I call her, was my guide and companion for the day. She loves her food, visiting the food kiosks throughout the day. Mang inasal for 250 PhP, pork for 300, rice 50, fried potato 150, corn 120 kept her busy. A few smoothies at only 150 per washed the eclectic foods down, topped off by chocolate cake at 200 PhP. What a food bonanza, akin the wonderful festival.
Thank you Lyn. I hope Joy² and Nonoy can make Dinagyong in 2025.
The cacophony of this festival was more pleasing and enjoyable than any Lollapalooza Festival, Grateful Dead or Rolling Stones concert that I experienced back in the states.

It has a great atmosphere. There are also historical sites that you can check out in this area. The library is a good place to study. You can also meditate in the prayer garden.

It’s across Molo Church. An old mansion converted into a pasalubong center and food park for snacks, coffee or cold drink.

This is tucked away down a side street but worth a visit if you can find it.There is a lot of history in the building so you can take a while here or be quite quick if you don't want to look at the personal effects in too much detail.

The complex is clean and security is high. Police and security guards are on site and probably available when needed.
