UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS
If you’re ready to move into the mountains and dive into the full Mount experience, we’re ready for you. Your journey includes the integrated core curriculum and one of the 70 + majors, minors, concentrations, interdisciplinary and special programs.

Graduate School
In the Graduate School the Mount offers graduate programs built to accommodate working professionals. By attending once-a-week evening classes online or at our convenient Frederick campus, you can earn a graduate degree or certificate.

Center for Accelerated and Adult Education
Have you considered going back to school or starting your educational pathway, but don’t know how to fit it in with your family and work schedule? The Center of Accelerated and Adult Education will allow you to continue working and attend convenient and affordable evening classes online or at our Frederick campus, earning a degree from Mount St. Mary’s University.

Opportunities & Resources
Each student's academic path is unique, and fostering academic success is our primary focus at the Mount. We take great pride in providing high-quality opportunities and resources to support every student's academic efforts, such as the writing center, the Honors Program, the Center for Student Engagement and Success, Learning Services, and other various services like our premier tutoring programs. These services not only provide support, but also create an academic community among students, support staff and faculty.
Study Abroad
Study for a semester or over the summer in a foreign land like Ecuador, Ireland, Italy, or Costa Rica. On a foreign study program you will be accompanied by a Mount faculty member and credits earned are applied to your degree program. And unlike most universities, scholarships and aid from Mount St. Mary’s University applies to our foreign study programs.
Honors Program
Join a community of other high-achieving students who challenge each other through four years of rigorous study, with opportunities both inside and outside the classroom. The program culminates in an intensive research project related to your chosen major during your senior year.
Fellowships
If you have your eyes set on one of those highly competitive and top-level academic awards (the Fulbright, Marshall, Rhodes, Goldwater, Gates Cambridge Scholarship, etc.), the Office of Competitive Fellowships has a solid record of success when it comes to helping applicants. Semester of Service
The Semester of Service is a truly unique opportunity to expand your education into a new and immersive environment. Living off-campus for a semester, you will continue your Mount classes in Philadelphia, perform 20 hours of community engagement per week, and experience exciting parts of city life and culture. In other words, you'll serve others while serving yourself.
Career Center
The Mount's Career Center is dedicated to your transition from our beautiful mountain campus to wherever your career takes you. Experiential learning opportunities tie hands-on experience to what you learn in the classroom as you work toward your career.
From internships and career fairs to preparation for graduate school, the team at the Career Center will help you prepare for the next step in your journey.
Center for Student Engagement & Success
Have an issue in your academic life? The Center for Student Engagement and Success (CSES) is the place to go. CSES was built as a resource to make your life at the Mount smoother and easier. So when you have a problem, question, conundrum or just a general wondering, the student mentors and administrative staff at CSES are here to help.
