Overall I think Peru is a good school, it is a very small town and you get to know everyone at the school. I think it is a very beneficial school for people who don't like the while big school feel. There isn't much to do around but with a quick 25-30 minute drive you can find things to do. Since there isn't a lot around to do the school does put on events and activities which is a good way to get out and do things and also just bond with the other students. Everyone is very nice and the professors are amazing, they all want you to succeed and they are all very flexible with working with their students and making sure they understand the class and the topics they are learning. Something I would like to see change is the amount of students that are here, it really is a good school and I think a lot of people would thrive in this environment. I think just having a bigger student body would increase and enlight the campus so much more.
I absolutely love the feel of Peru State, it is the definition of living in a college town. I grew up in a small town and coming here for college really made me feel more at home. So far I have been in Peru for one semester and I love it. I have met so many nice people and the professors are even nicer. I can't wait to see what is in store for the next couple of years!
I enjoy all of my teachers I have had at Peru, they are all very helpful and make sure I have all the resources I need in order to succeed in my classes. I have not had one bad professor.
