Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (2009): The logo is already formed and is still on a black background.
The Smurfs (2011): The logo is still on a white background. Also seen on the trailer.
Hotel Transylvania (2012) and Hotel Transylvania 2 (2015): After the logo is complete, it's surrounded by mist, segueing into the opening of the movie.
The Smurfs 2 (2013): After the logo is complete, a white Smurf hat falls down onto the "A" in "Animation".
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018): The first movie with the current logo, which also glitches.
The Angry Birds Movie 2 (2019): For some reason, Sony Pictures Animation worked on the sequel but not the first movie. Nevertheless, this film does have a custom variant. After we zoom through the Sony logo, we're in a blue gradient background with red feathers scattered across the floor. Suddenly, the logo falls down, causing the screen to shake briefly and the feathers are sent into the air, before descending slowly until one covers up the screen and transitions to black, before the Rovio Entertainment logo plays.
The Mitchells vs. the Machines (2021): The text turns on over a blue background filled with Katie's scribbles, and after a few seconds, it also turns into a scribbled orange version, as the background turns red and is filled with rainbows, hand puppets, cartoon lightning bolts, googly eyes, pictures of pugs and 2D animated Katies snapping their fingers
Vivo (2021): The blue text falls over the same city landscape used in the film's Columbia logo variant, and after a few seconds, it turns flat as we zoom into it, transitioning to the film's opening scene.
