My overall experience in high school has been good. My best experience has been being a part of the P-Tech Dual Credit program. It has gotten me hours towards my associates degree, so when I graduate high school I will also be graduating with an Associate's degree. The worst end of my time at the school has always been transportation. Bus routes can be tricky at times, and certain bus drivers in the area can be unprofessional. Besides this small hiccup, my life at Willowridge High school has been great.
My overall experience with Willowridge High School has been okay. It is fairly easy to make friends here, especially when you have all the answers to the homework haha. In all seriousness, academic wise it sucks, we are the worst high school in our district. I think the school does not prepare us for college at all, and I am scared that I will have a rude awakening when I enter college. Everything should change to be honest.
My experience at Willowridge was quite full of many mixed emotions. I had no other choice than to attend it but I tried leaving it many times, till I found out I could graduate early and so I did! I'll say one of my best experiences was the learning in AP classes, that's when I actually felt as if I was learning and in an actual school. I say that because most of the school is pretty bad academically, not because students are not capable. It's because they just dont have motivation. Teachers overall don't care for you to learn or not, they just want you passing their classes they look good and then us students have a hard time later on understanding the subjects. For example my Algebra teacher didn't teach, he mostly gave out free grades, when I got to Geometry I was confused on what was going on because I didn't understand any of the topics. Teachers at Willowridge should really consider teaching more. Its more important for us to understand the topic rather than to have good grades.
