MAY 29TH - FUTURE COMMITMENT DAY

Dear Class of 2024,

We're thrilled to announce our upcoming Future Commitment Day on Wednesday, May 29th. This event is an opportunity for us to celebrate our students' plans beyond high school.

We are encouraging our students to participate by wearing attire representing their college, military service, trade school, or future employment.

Feel free to join in by wearing your old college shirts too!

6/25/24 (Tuesday) SENIOR PROM

Senior Prom Tickets will be on sale, Tuesday, May 28th through Friday, May 31st,  periods 1 - 9 in the hallway outside the CHS Library.

Guest Applications must be completed and submitted to purchase a prom ticket for an outside guest.

  • Senior Prom Tickets are $130 each
  • Cash or Check accepted.  Checks should be made payable to the Connetquot Central School District

2024 REGENTS REVIEW INFORMATION:

Dear Parents/Guardians of CHS Students,

Earlier this week, Regents Review Courses began at Connetquot High School.  Sign up information was previously provided to all CHS students via grade level Google Classrooms.  Students are still able to sign up for review sessions!

The information attached at the bottom of this email includes a review schedule as well as a QR code to sign up for sessions.  Students must pre-register using the QR code to attend sessions, which are open to any and all students who will be sitting for exams this June. 

We hope to see our students at these incredibly helpful and free sessions very soon!

CLASS OF 2025 - SENIOR PARKING ON CAMPUS FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR

Please note the following:

Ø  SENIOR PARKING SPOT PAINTING INFORMATION: At this time we are accepting applications and payment if you would like to secure and paint your own parking space for the 2024 - 2025 school year.  (THIS IS NOT AN APPLICATION FOR YOUR SENIOR PARKING PERMIT).  Painting will take place in August 2024.

APPLICATIONS FOR 2024-2025 SENIOR PARKING PERMITS WILL BE EMAILED HOME AND POSTED ON THE HIGH SCHOOL WEBSITE ON MONDAY, JULY 8, 2024. 

(There is NO CHARGE to apply and receive a 24-25 Senior Parking Permit)

  • DATES WILL BE POSTED WHEN YOU CAN SUBMIT YOUR SENIOR PARKING PERMIT APPLICATION OVER THE SUMMER.  PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING BELOW:

Only SENIORS (CLASS OF 2025) with a New York State Class D driver’s license can apply in August 2024 to park in the student parking lot during the 2024-2025 school year.  

Please note, a Class D License is issued only to people 18 years of age or older or to a person who is 17 years of age and has successfully completed an approved Driver Education course and received your certificate of completion.  By law, you cannot drive to school with a Junior License (Class DJ).  

IMPORTANT: As you qualify for your Class D driver's license during the 2024-2025 school year, you can submit your application for your SENIOR PARKING PERMIT at the CHS Security Desk which is located at the Main Entrance to the building.

STUDENT ID CARDS for CONNETQUOT HIGH SCHOOL

  • This year all students are expected to wear their ID cards. (Replacement lanyards are available in grade level offices).
  • Students will be scanning their ID cards upon entering the school building as well as the CHS cafeteria.
  • Students will need to display their ID card when signing into a bathroom.
  • Students will continue to use the ID card received last school year.
  • LOST ID CARD: If you lost your ID card and need a replacement please click on the link below and follow the directions:

    Connetquot High School PTSA Homepage

    2023 – 2024 SENIOR PARKING APPLICATION:

    Dear Senior:

    Parking on school grounds is a senior privilege. You must have a Connetquot High School Parking Tag issued by the school and displayed from your vehicle’s rear view mirror when parking in the student parking lot.  In order to receive your parking tag, you must read, complete and return this application to Security at the high school.
