Anne Del Negro

Anne Marie Del Negro, 78 of Wall Twp. passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday January 22nd at the Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. Mrs. Del Negro was born in Orange and had lived in South Orange before moving to Long Branch in 1989. She moved to Wall Twp. in 2006. She was the Administrative Assistant at Del Negro and Senft Eye Associates, Neptune. She was an active volunteer and parishioner for many years at Our Lady of Sorrows RC Church in South Orange. Mrs. Del Negro was a communicant of St. Michael's RC Church, West End, Long Branch, where she taught CCD for 23 years. Mrs. Del Negro was blessed with the Papal Honor of being a Lady Commander of the Equestrian order of the Holy Sepulcher. She had a gift to to make her family and friends know they were loved and cared for. Through her faith she inspired all to strive to be a better person. She was pre-deceased by the love of her life, Dr. Ralph A. Del Negro in 2006, and their daughter Catherine Mary in 1957. Surviving is a son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Ralph and Dr. Robyn Del Negro, Rumson; two daughters and sons-in-laws, Carol and John Terzano and Barbara and Joseph Scaffidi, Wall Twp.; two brothers and sisters-in-laws, Edward and Anne De Paola, Scotch Plains and Frank and Katherine De Paola, Basking Ridge; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Rose Marie Deehan, South Orange and Jean Marie and Gerard Gonsalves, Basking Ridge; her grandchildren, John and his wife Stephanie, Anne Marie and her husband Dan, Kaitlynn and her fiancé Matt, Sara, Ralph, Emily, Isabella, Joseph and Julia. Visitation will be Wednesday January 25th, 3 to 8 PM at the Woolley Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch. Funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday January 26th, 11:00 AM, at St. Michael's RC Church, West End. Entombment will follow at St. Catherine's Mausoleum; Wall Twp. Contributions in memory of Mrs. Del Negro may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 811 W. Evergreen Avenue, Suite 204, Chicago, IL, 60642.
