They say good things come to those who wait – and Michelle Yeoh and Jean Todt waited 19 years after getting engaged to tie the knot Thursday.

While the Academy Award-winning actress, 60, and former chief executive for Ferrari, 77, waited nearly two decades to officially wed, the couple moved a little faster at the beginning of their relationship, waiting less than two months to get engaged.

"We met in Shanghai on 4th June 2004," reads an image of what appears to be a wedding program, posted by former Formula One racing driver Felipe Massa. "On 26th July 2004, J.T proposed to marry M.Y and she said YES!"

Jean Todt and Michelle Yeoh, pictured at the 2023 Oscars, have tied the knot after a 19-year engagement.

The program continues: "Today after 6992 days on 27th July 2023 in Geneva, surrounded by loving friends and family, We are so happy to celebrate this special moment together!"

USA TODAY has reached out to Yeoh's rep for comment.

"Happy marriage #JeanTodt & #michelleyeoh love you so much," Massa captioned the post. Massa also shared photos with Yeoh and Todt.

Yeoh joined in on the newlywed hype by posting some candid photos from her nuptials with Todt on Instagram Saturday. The first image in Yeoh's post shows her holding Todt's hand, while the couple appears to smile at Todt's ring. Another photo shows the couple snuggled up in bed with a swan sculpture that appears to be made from folded white towels.

"19 years and YES!! we are married!! (Thank you) to our ‘families’ ❤️ who love us for all these years," Yeoh wrote. "We love you and here’s to many more to come ❤️✨❤️✨✨"

The marriage comes during a big year for Yeoh.

With her 2023 Oscar win in March for her dazzling turn in"Everything Everywhere All at Once," Yeoh became the first Asian woman – and only the second person of color behind Halle Berry (2001's "Monster's Ball") – to win best actress in the awards' 95-year history. Back home in Malaysia, Yeoh's mother threw a massive watch party on the day of the ceremony.

Todt might want to keep an eye on the other man in his new spouse's life: Yeoh's Oscar, aptly named "Mr. O," has been traveling with her everywhere — including potentially playing a role of his own at the couple's Geneva nuptials, at least according to the photos posed by Massa, which include selfies with "Mr. O."

Weighing 8 ½ pounds and standing just 13 ½ inches tall, Oscar was first spotted with Yeoh on the Academy Awards stage. Since then, she and her gold-plated paramour have traversed the globe, stopping in her native Malaysia earlier this spring to celebrate her historic victory.

"Right now, Mr. O is still traveling with me," Yeoh told USA TODAY in May before the premiere of her Disney+ series "American Born Chinese" (now streaming). "I have to share him with people who’ve helped me to be where I am today. So when I go back home next time, I will let Mr. O hang out with my mom.”
