Jennifer Lawrence has arrived. The actor made a stunning entrance at the 2024 Golden Globes tonight, when she walked the red carpet at L.A.’s Beverly Hilton in a timeless velvet blue floor-length gown by Dior and shimmering Tiffany & Co. diamond jewelry.
The sleeveless dress featured a relaxed hourglass silhouette and a deep, draped V neckline. At the center of Lawrence’s chest shone a spectacular white diamond necklace, made up of small square diamonds and a massive teardrop diamond in the center. She also wore large wing-shaped diamond earrings with blue stones at the center, a diamond ring, and a silver crystal-embellished clutch by Dior.
The Dior ambassador wore minimal makeup with the look, and her silky, layered, side-parted hairdo was as classic as her ensemble, put together by stylist Jamie Mizrahi.
Lawrence is nominated tonight for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, for her lead role in the raunchy comedy No Hard Feelings. In the film, her character—held down by her past and struggling not to lose the house she grew up in—answers a wealthy mother and father’s ad seeking a woman to date their socially awkward high-school-grad son in exchange for a free car. The movie marked J-Law’s big return to the screen following the birth of her child, Cy, with husband Cooke Maroney, in February 2022. She told E! News earlier this year that her main concern when choosing projects now is where, when, and for how long a film might take her away from her son.
“Fortunately,” she told Cameron Diaz in an Interview magazine chat in June, “my husband is the greatest father in the entire world, so when I’m working, I don’t have any more guilt than the usual every-day, all-day parent guilt.”
