What is the history of Baker Funeral Home?
Founded in Cleburne,TX by James Nathan Baker, Sr. In 1917, Mr. Baker expanded to Fort Worth in 1926, and operated homes in Mineral Wells, Texas as well. Mr. Baker founded the People's Burial Park, an Ambulance service and trained his 6 children in the Funeral Service Business, all licensed and helped the business grow. The business was designated a Texas Historical Landmark in 2004, a project spearheaded by his great granddaughter, forth generation, Keosha Baker, FD/Embalmer.
