Loved my visit to Southwest Wildlife Conservation with a friend. I have lived in the Midwest and Southeast to I had the opportunity to see some animals I had never seen before. You are able to view the animals who cannot be released back into the wild. I saw Mountain lions, black bears, wolves, coyotes, ringtail, coatmundi, foxes, and a very large tortoise. Our guide, Darlene(? sorry I am bad with names) was fantastic. She told about each species and the animals stories about how they came to be there. The center limits contacts with animals being rehabed so they do not imprint on humans and jeopardize their return to the wild. The center is clean and has shade canopies to help with the sun. The animals appear well cared for and have enrichment. I would recommend visiting. We drove from our Scottsdale hotel and had no trouble finding the center.

My expectations were high, the house of such a famous architect, but beautiful no, interesting yes. Why FLW built it as he did, which room had light coming in at what time, why use of canvas and concrete, these were questions which have to be answerered. Our guide Bruce was full of knowledge and approachable for all kind of questions and further info. You can book a guided tour and also an audio tour. We prefered the guided.

Beautiful place, very 50's camp vibe with actually pretty good restaurants and views. If you run or bike the trails (one leading to this place) are enjoyable as well. There are a few bars/restaurants open late with music so fun hang out at night.

My husband and I visited the park and couldn’t believe the collection of train memorabilia. The collection of model railroads and trains were very impressive. The playground and picnic areas were perfect for families. This park is a true gift to the people blessed to live in Scottsdale!

I did the Brown's trailhead on my own as my husband was unable to hike. I felt safe. There were volunteers at the trail head as well as shade and restrooms. The trails were very clearly marked and easy to follow.

Awesome place. The docents were very good but only covered a limited area of the museum. Could have spent more time there. We stayed for about 90 minutes and that wasn’t enough. LOTS of really cool stuff and I’m not a big cowboy enthusiast. The art work was amazing. Very historic place. Loved it.

Excellent trail for all levels as if it becomes too strenuous, you can turn around. It is well maintained and offers ample rest spots to take in beautiful views of the park, overlooks of golf course and neighborhood and to catch your breath if needed.

The trail offers educational signs about the desert creatures and landscape, plants etc. they have a jr ranger program for children (actually all ages 😊).

Be sure to take plenty of water and snacks, hiking sticks, etc.

My suggestion is if you don't want to do the full trail from end to end to avoid the long climb back to the visitor center, that you go as far as Grand View or Owl's Rest and then turn around.

This is a very popular trail with many visitors but there's plenty of room for all. If you don't like crowds while hiking this isn't the place for you.

Sunday afternoon was a busy time to experience Butterly Wonderland. Maybe it would be better/less busy to visit on a weekday. Be sure to pick up the two sided card identifying the butterflies found in the conservatory. I enjoyed the short 3D movie and would recommend viewing it before going into the rainforest. Many people skipped the movie but it really helped my level of appreciation for these beautiful creatures. Take your time to soak in the beauty of flowering plants and butterflies flying all around. We spent close to 1.5 hours for the full experience.

Nice moderate hike with never ending scenery. Surrounded by breathtaking, capitvating mountains. Very super hike compared to Camleback. Super enjoyable, just keep an eye out for rattlesnakes!!

In the heart of Downtown Scottsdale, this is a gem of shopping that offers shoppers an amazing experience of unmatched indoor shopping, dining and entertainment experience. Here, you can find some of the world-famous fashion designers and hautecouture. Top brands found at every turn such as Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, and Macy’s. I myself enjoyed shopping here browsing at Macy’s, Nordstrom and Sephora. The food court is at the lower level offers shoppers a break to fuel up before resuming shopping. This is a real shopping haven.

Always good to visit here. About an hour. Free entry. Lots of great and famous Penske race cars. Indy, Formula One, and more. And you can visit the attached showroom to view many Ferraris, Maseratis, and more.

There weren’t any signs that directed us, but we eventually figured out that we didn’t have to stand in line with our digital or printed out combo pass. Find the employee with the scanner and you can miss the long line. Look up to see the fun and creative aquarium light fixtures. Then go directly to the restroom to catch a glimpse of the sharks. Seriously. We didn’t purchase any of the virtual experiences since they were an added cost. Definitely seek out the odyssey adventurer for a seated ride and narrative. The sharks are mesmerizing so don’t miss them. I recommend the combo pass for Butterfly Wonderland and the aquarium. You will exit the aquarium through a gift shop then proceed to Arizona Boardwalk. There are photo opportunities here and space to walk or run around outside.
