Picnic In The Park Series: Our View of Summers Past

This is the kickoff of our "Picnic in the Park" series of a monthly summer program for all ages to enjoy a little history, have a relaxing evening playing games, enjoy light refreshments or bring your own picnic (if desired). Spend a summer evening - Victorian style! Croquet, Badminton, and other activities will highlight how people in the past spent their leisure time.

River Roots Music Festival

Sesame Place

123 Playground Opening

New furry fun is coming to Sesame Place Philadelphia in 2024! On May 25, the park will debut the ALL-NEW 123 Playground, the perfect place for adults to relax in the shade while their youngest ones run, climb, and play. The 123 Playground will be centrally located at the former site of the Sunny Day Carousel.

Memorial Day Weekend Celebrations

The Mighty Manatees

The Mighty Manatees are a musical co-operative that can swell from an acoustic duo to a 10-piece orchestra. Meditations on the Human Condition

George R. Anthonisen: Meditations on the Human Condition celebrates the arc of Anthonisen’s artistic career spanning 65 years as a figurative sculptor. Well versed in history and current events, Anthonisen (b. 1936) creates visual dialogues, primarily in bronze, that investigate the human condition.
