A must for Patrick Kavanagh fans! Very nicely curated exhibition on the life and work of Patrick Kavanagh. I suggest starting with the touch screens on your right as you enter the exhibition space and work your way around in a clockwise direction to follow his story in chronological order. Excellent telling of a poet’s story Wonderful telling of the story of Patrick Kavanagh. Clever use of family and personal artifacts along with an excellent touch screen presentation on the different periods of his life. Lots of interesting asides - he met Alan Ginsberg in New York and was an extra in a movie with Deborah Kerr. A wonderfully lyrical audio presentation and a very welcoming staff.
