Akita Publishing Co., Ltd. is an Japanese publishing company which, between 1999 and 2000, published a comprehensive 23 volume collection of Osamu Tezuka's Astro Boy manga stories in a special author-defined order which did not follow a strict chronological reprinting.
This order was later used as the basis for the English language Dark Horse Comics collections.
