Yvonne Connolly has revealed how she “ran into his arms crying” as she was finally reunited with partner John Conroy after five long months of separation.

Taking to Instagram on Thursday, the mother-of-three shared her joy as she joined John in Mexico.

Alongside a sunny snap of John in the pool, Yvonne wrote: “It’s been 5 months since I’ve seen this man !! It feels SO SO good to be reunited with my love @jccine. I ran into his arms crying like a child when he arrived.

“When John left to work in LA I honestly thought (pesky) covid travel restrictions into U.S would be lifted within a month or two. How wrong I was…

“I will savour every minute till John goes back to LA on Sunday.”

Some of the couple’s famous friends wished them well in the comment section, including Amanda Byram who wrote: “Awww so lovely, enjoy every second!!”

Irish actress Victoria Smurfit also commented: “So happy for you both!”

The former model found love with John after splitting from Ronan Keating in 2011 and have now been together for nearly a decade.

Yvonne shares three kids with the Boyzone star – Jack, 22, Missy, 20, and Ali, 15.

Just before John left for America, Yvonne told Evoke in April they are “very happily unmarried at the moment”.

“But I am also the type of person to say, ‘Never say never’, But no we have no plans.

She added: “We just had a year together during COVID, which we’ve never had before because, of course, he travels all the time, and that was just absolutely beautiful and lovely.

“As negative as Covid has been, we’ve had huge positives to be grateful for as well. He’s just left to go back to America to work. So I’ll always have those great memories.

“We have a great relationship it’s a very grownup relationship, it’s very positive, and I just kind of think, if things aren’t broken, then don’t try to fix them.”
